@bridgiebee82 they do bloodwork at some point which is how they found it for me with my first (and second). But definitely ask! It was excessive like @cas060 described. I’d wake up at 8am and need to take a nap at 10 before going to work at 12.
@cas060 I had covid and I was excessively tired but it was hard to know if it was the covid or the whole being pregnant thing. Or a little bit of both. But others who aren’t pregnant told me they were very fatigued as well. Maybe test to be sure? Especially if you’ve had any other symptoms?
Maybe not a symptom but when I stuck that ultrasound probe on my belly earlier, I totally think I felt baby move! It would have been a kick off the spine headbutt, but I swear I felt it against the probe!
I'm the opposite, always too hot! Which is different from my norm, I'm usually always too cold. Pregnancy always makes me overheat.
@paytonpedro that's so awesome! Isn't it trippy feeling the first little flutter?
This might be TMI but my boobs have been WAY overly sensitive lately. Like I have to cover them when I shower because the water hitting them is super painful.
Funny moment: the other night I said "I have a headache and I don't know why" and my 8 year old says "maybe it's because you're pregnant" and I was like "you're probably exactly right." And now when I say anything, she says it's because I'm pregnant. "I'm so thirsty" or "Man I'm sleepy right now" is followed by her saying "it's because you're pregnant." It makes me laugh every time because it's so dead pan.
@bridgiebee82 Bad news (or good news?), super cold and super tired is super normal. I've been feeling a lot better but I still get under the giant furry blanket to nap once a day. It will get better eventually...
@paytonpedro, ill eat my words i am sure but the sound of being constipated for even a day sounds glorious right now.. lol. Honestly I've had tmi, the runs since probably 4 weeks along😅
Hi friends! I'm due the 23rd! I was so sick from week 5 to the end of 10. I'm feeling so much better now which sou do like a good thing, but I had a Mc in Sept so I was enjoying knowing things were going well. No morning sickness coupled with my belly not really showing ( this is my 2nd I thought you're supposed to pop earlier) I'm a nervous wreck!
I have my first in office appointment Monday and I can't wait! I have seen the hb in an ultrasound, but still a crazy nervous wreck!
Anyone else not really showing yet with a second+ baby and feeling so much better?
Nausea is better for me most of the time. Still throwing up maybe a few times a week but not daily anymore. Starting to show more for sure. I think I felt the little "wave" feeling. I remember feeling like a flip flop in my belly during previous pregnancies. I too have had lots of beautiful acne lately.
The hip pain that plagued my entire third trimester with #2 is here. Early. I've been teaching sitting on a stool in the front of the classroom, which is pedagogically terrible, but I've needed it because if I stand too long I get nauseous. Now just as I was thinking I could be done with the stool this week, I need it again. 🤬
@wisewitch222 my hip was hurting me like it did in previous pregnancies on Saturday. I’m thinking it might have been from how baby was positioned? Or maybe I pulled it at some point? Idk. It’s since gone away. But I hope yours goes away as well and you don’t have to deal with it until later on at least!!
Hi ladies I’m new here! I’m 15 weeks and have had a headache for literally the last two weeks. Every day. 80% of the day. For two days it was a migraine. Is anyone else having headaches and for this long?
@Knottie98852280 hey! Welcome! I think a few of us, myself included, have definitely been having/have had headaches recently! Mine were pretty bad, lasting most of the day. I took Tylenol and that got me through.
I did have covid back in January and my main symptom was an absolutely pounding headache. Have you had it recently or could you have it?

Thanks for answering so quick! I did try to change my username, obviously it didn’t work. I’ll try and figure it out.
I did have Covid the last week of December and that really sucked. It’s not the same Covid headache I had just a constant annoyance that gets worse at times. I will definitely call my doctor today.
Congratulations to all of you who are lucky enough to get the mysterious “pregnancy glow” I’ve always heard mentioned. This is the second time that train has passed me by. My current face situation is that of a very unfortunate teenager 😅
Smells really have not bothered me so far, but this morning when I walked in from the gym my husband was making coffee and I thought I was going to vomit right there.
Oh yea, @aukeev and @tmartin014 no glow here, always breakouts and blotchy skin and oily hair. Hurray. Also, my face gets super round in the third trimester and my nose widens. Adorable.
Also, is feeling like you've pulled a muscle in your groin (just your whole groin, not anywhere specific) a pregnancy symptom? Or did I actually do a thing?
@mangoandguava is it a constant strained feeling? I am getting RLP quite a bit and it will feel tight but it comes and goes pretty quickly and randomly.
@wisewitch222 I have a lot of luck with the yoga and daily exercises that Spinning Babies has. You can usually Google it and find a couple places that offer the routines for free. It definitely helps with my hips and hip flexors. I’m sorry. Stupid relaxin.
@paytonpedro Ugh, my face roundness also started early this time around. I had lunch with a friend today, and she *commented.* I was just like, "yeah, I know, it will go back to normal as soon as the baby comes out. In the meantime, no photos."
Add me to the headache club. 3rd one within last few days. On the plus side my hair is normally oily and when I'm pregnant it lacks all the oil and I am not complaining. So nice not to have to wash it every.day. my back however didn't get the message and is so broken out right now.
@aukeev no, just when I’m transitioning from sitting to standing or vice versa. Maybe it is RLP. Dr. Google said it was a second tri thing but we all know Dr. Google is wrong frequently.
