How did you find out? I started testing at 9 DPO with FRER, and I had faint lines that got darker and darker each day.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m 32 and DH is 30, and we have a 20 month old daughter. Our house is kind of a zoo, between her, two dogs, and a cat!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I’m not going to lie, I am very anxious currently. *TW* I had an early loss in December 2020. So I am taking things a day at a time. The TTGP group has been super helpful and supportive during that difficult time. I hope this pregnancy sticks!
I look forward to connecting and getting to know everyone here!
How did you find out? I’ve been waiting 2.5 years for this moment! This was our second FET and I tested yesterday at 6dp5dt.. saw my first ever BFP! Tested again this morning and the line was slightly darker so I’m hopeful this little one will stick around.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m 34 and I work as a nurse in NICU. DH is 35 and is a software developer. This is our first baby and we have no pets due to allergies. I enjoy yoga, reading, playing board games and spending time outside.. the beach is my happy place!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) So excited but this still doesn’t feel real. There’s definitely some anxiety after going through IF.. But today I am pregnant and I will just take things one day at a time. I have my beta on Saturday! In terms of symptoms, just very slight nausea but it could just be nerves. Otherwise, feeling totally normal but it is very early.
*TW loss mentioned
@rgn12 I can relate to the anxiety.. I had an embryo loss in December. There’s so many mixed emotions after going through a loss. There’s hope and excitement but then fear of being hurt again. Whatever you are feeling is valid. I hope this pregnancy sticks!
TTGP is such a wonderful group, I was active there for a few years, but needed some time away after my failed FET. I made some amazing friends over there and I don’t know how I would have gotten through without them!
Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Me: 35 DH: 35 TTC since 9/2018

Due Dec 2021 12/21- Baby girl born!
How did you find out? Took a test after waking up with a suspicion. Have had very irregular cycles since my IUD removal. Instant BFP.
Tell us about yourself: I am 28 and an ER nurse, DH is 38 and a Paramedic. This last year has been hell. We have an amazing 3 year old and have been dreaming of another baby for a long time but decided to wait until I was fully vaccinated. We’re ecstatic! Also have an adorable lab mix named Lexi that we rescued last year. She’s been the perfect addition. Currently enjoying fixing up our first house and building anything and everything I work up the nerve to try.
How are you feeling? So far, good. First appointment is scheduled for 4/21. This pregnancy feels different than my first, in terms of having zero symptoms. But I may just be remembering wrong. FX to stick in here with you ladies
@night_nurse and @misshelen86 I am so glad that you both are here! I am not gonna lie, I was creeping for days before I just went ahead and started this thread! I guess we can do more once we have some more ladies join? I’ve never been one of the firsts in a group before so I am not sure how this works, haha!
@rgn12 same! I have been waiting for it to open. I joined my Feb18 board at about 17 weeks pregnant but am still good friends with around 20 of the ladies who started out there. Am hoping to find the same community here
I found out 2 days ago when I tested at 11 DPO. Due date December 6! I knew I was pregnant for about a week before. Can’t really explain why, I just knew it! Instant BPF in the evening of 11 DPO, I was so excited!
I am 33 years old and I have 2 beautiful daughters. My oldest is 5 and my youngest is 3. My hubby is a stay at home dad and I work as a Product Manager building software. Life is chaotic and wonderful! We just bought a 5 acre farm in North Georgia, so hubby works the farm while I work from home at my job.
We are so excited to add our third and final baby to our family! I had Hyperemesis Gravidarium with both of my previous pregnancies so I’m expecting to have it again. If history repeats itself, it’ll start next week so I’m just enjoying my last few days before I become miserable, but so grateful to be pregnant!
How did you find out? Lots of pregnancy tests, and then confirmed with a blood test.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?). I am 37 and will be 38 at delivery. This is baby #5. I have three sons, almost 11.5, 9.5, and almost 6, and a daughter who is almost 8. They are all from my first marriage. This will be my SO first baby and he is out of town for work so I haven't told him yet. It will be very very emotional. I also have one fur baby Mac, a golden retriever.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?). I had night sweats so bad last week so thought something was up, and sore boobs. First appt is April 29. I'm emotional..more than usual!
I had to do fertility treatments for my first three babies in my 20s, number 4 was a miracle baby, and this baby we were trying for and it happened the second cycle at 37. I feel enormously blessed and excited to do this again, and a little nervous being much older than I was 6 years ago when I had my last.
How did you find out? Beta test on Monday after a frozen embryo transfer (FET) on 3/19/21
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I'm 37 (38 in June, eek) and I have a recently turned 3 year old daughter from another FET in July 2017 (born March 2018). I worked in pediatrics until the pandemic hit -- mostly administrative now as I stopped clinical when I was pregnant with my daughter -- just too stressful. Pandemic has changed things quite a bit -- I've been at home with my daughter full-time since March 2020 as we withdrew her from preschool temporarily. The plan is to have her go back this fall, probably full-time. I have been married to my husband (and best friend) for FOREVER it seems...13 years this fall. If I have time to myself (haha hard with a 3 year old), I like to play video games and read books (usually historical fiction). Apparently one of my hobbies now is watching Paw Patrol and Blue's Clues with my daughter. I also have Frozen 1 and 2 memorized. We have two dogs (a Shiba Inu purebred and a chow mix rescue) and a kitty (just another grumpy cat lol).
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I've been having crazy hot flashes, sore boobs and been ravenous. My first beta was on Monday @ 156 and the second was yesterday/today (Wednesday) @ 472. I go back to get another drawn on Fri. My clinic likes to do serial betas until you get 5k+. I think I had about 4 betas with my daughter back in 2017. Emotionally, I'm sorta...not really believing it? I feel a mixture of apprehension as I have a history of early miscarriage (but this was a tested embryo), excitement and then periods of being sorta ambivalent. I think the ambivalence is mostly a coping tactic. I don't want to let myself get too excited just yet. I survived my 6 year journey to my daughter by always expecting the worst and then getting delighted with the better, so it's pretty normal for me.
I am excited to have a fall/winter baby; it's my favorite time of the year. I just love all of the holidays and the weather! I'm mostly active on the infertility boards. Also, we already know the gender since our embryos were tested -- this will be girl #2!!

@misshelen86 Omg, congrats on your BFP!! Hoping for good beta numbers for you!! IF is quite the fun little journey, isn't it? Just take it one day at a time!
@night_nurse I also just completed my vaccination in early Feb (first dose in Jan). My husband gets his first shot next week and I'm so excited for him.
@nz113 My sister gets HG too...she usually ends up taking ondansetron/zofran and it helps a little bit...but so miserable. I hope you have an easier time of it this go-around.
@gymkim67 Congrats on #5!! Your house must be busy!!

I was in a really boring all hands conference call at 8dpo and decided to take a test while it was going (perks of remote work) and thought I saw the barest hint of a line. We are talking so faint that you couldn’t even catch it in a picture (I tried). It’s gotten darker over the past couple of days so here I am!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I’m a lawyer in the Bay Area. I’m 34 (will be 35 by the time kiddo is born) and DH is 35. We have one DD (born in January 2019), a cat, and a dog. I like to rock climb and last pregnancy made it to 36 weeks climbing in my pregnancy harness. I also love to read and drink wine (missing it already!)
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
I’m really nervous! Last time I spotted for over a week straight when I tested positive which made me incredibly anxious and this time I have had no spotting which has also now made me incredibly anxious. Go figure.
I scheduled my first OB appointment for 4/22 with a new OB. My husband can’t come because only patients are allowed still. Are others dealing with that too?
@rgn12 Also a zoo here. We have just a cat and one dog, but he’s a feisty golden retriever so he is destructive enough for 5
@misshelen86 big board game fan over here! What do you play? Since it’s just me and DH during the pandemic we have done a lot of 2 player games - twilight struggle, pandemic (ha), ticket to ride
@night_nurse I feel you on not having symptoms when I recall having some last pregnancy. They do say every one is different
@gymkim67 due date twins! I’m terrified about how to handle #2. I’m in awe of your #5
@mbradfo2 everyone talks about their kids watching frozen non stop, but my 2 year old refuses to watch it so far. Give it to me straight...is it just a matter of time?
@mbradfo2 Congrats to you too! Your betas look great. Glad to see someone else here who went through IF.. “I survived my 6 year journey to my daughter by always expecting the worst and then getting delighted with the better” this resonated with me so much!! It’s exactly how I felt going into this transfer.
@blueowl08 Ticket to ride is one of my favorites! I also enjoy pandemic, pirate cove, king of tokyo, etc. and party ones like cards against humanity, what do you meme, joking hazard.. We have a few shelves of board games in DH’s office. He actually proposed to me through a board game!
Me: 35 DH: 35 TTC since 9/2018
Dx: MFI 10/19- First RE visit 2/20- DH had surgery for bilateral varicoceles 7/20- IUI with 5 mg letrozole- BFN 9/20- IVF. 9 eggs retrieved, 9 mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI, 7 blasts, 4 PGT-A normal 11/20- Mock transfer/ERA 12/20- FET #1- transferred one 4AB- BFN 3/21- FET #2- transferred one 3AB- BFP! Due Dec 2021 12/21- Baby girl born!
@blueowl08 Honestly, I'm not so sure how it happened! My daughter fell in love with Frozen a bit after she turned 2 and wanted to be magical like Elsa and brave like Anna. But she always loved anything colorful, sparkly and pretty.
@misshelen86 Yeah, with my daughter I joined another pregnancy birth club (What to Expect) and I just did not feel like I fit in AT ALL. There was maybe a handful of people who had even done fertility treatments who were active and I was among the oldest moms at 34 (yes. AT 34.). I don't mind young moms at all but we are often at different places in our lives. I've felt soooo much more at home on the Bump for whatever reason. It was just hard to be around all these happy pregnant people who were planning their nurseries at 10 weeks, etc -- I just had too much PTSD from infertility and loss that I didn't even want to BUY baby things before my daughter arrived. We literally only had my baby shower presents and 1 pink blanket I bought from Target when DD arrived...I was ordering a layette of baby things (bibs, clothes, blankies, swaddling cloths, baby mittens) and our car seat while I was sitting in my hospital room waiting for the nurses to begin the induction. As a side note, I really recommend picking up one of the Gerber baby layettes they sell on Amazon! It was very good quality at a good price for so many items that we ended up needing. I didn't even realize babies needed mittens to protect their faces from getting scratched up, but the Gerber layette had them so I was prepared!
My husband is board game obsessed and I like to play many of them -- I actually have an awesome track record of winning at Cards Against Humanity when we play it with friends. I just got him a board game about the Salem Witch Trials so we'll probably try that out at some point.

How did you find out? I’ve been testing for the past few days getting the faintest whispers of a line and then today I finally took a digital and it said pregnant!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am 26 and have been married to my husband for almost 7 years. We have known each other since we were 7 and are high school sweethearts. I have a 6yo daughter and a 4 yo son. I had both of my babes young so I’m excited to do it again when I’m a little older although 3 kids before 30 is a little jarring to some. I currently just work retail but I am in school to be a paralegal. I will hopefully be done next spring!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. This was not a planned pregnancy, we had a condom break during my fertile week so I am feeling a little overwhelmed. We got rid of all of our baby things so it’s like we are starting over. I have felt slightly nauseous all week but that may just be from the anxiety lol. We are also very excited though so it’s just a lot of mixed emotions. I’m just hoping for a healthy pregnancy and baby.
@misshelen86 hi from a fellow nurse. Happy you are here! Will be thinking about you Saturday. Let us know how it goes.
@blueowl08 still no visitors allowed in at my OB offices as well. Not sure how I feel about it yet other than anxious to get the first appointment out of the way. I think we’ll pay for an elective ultrasound soon after the anatomy scan so DH can see babe.
@mbradfo2 same due date! And yay for reassuring betas. Also have every Frozen movie and short film (Oalf’s Frozen Adventure is hands down the best) memorized. Pretty much on repeat all day long over here.
@bearsandbeets7 sounds like you have a lot going on and anything you’re feeling is totally valid. Full-time mom, student and wife?! You’re superwoman
I tested this morning because I was due to get my 1st COVID shot tomorrow and got the faintest line, but it was there!
I am 33 years old, been married to DH 6 years, we have 2 boys, 4 and 2, I am a science teacher (Ms. Frizzle is my idol!).
I'm feeling so very anxious. I was excited to finally have a COVID shot but cancelled since there's not enough research on the mRNA and early pregnancies for me to feel comfortable. Now I have all the extra worries of contracting while pregnant. I teach in person at a small school, so am face to face with a large amount of people who refuse to wear masks. Otherwise, I'm reservedly excited. We thought that maybe #3 was not meant to be since we've been trying for a few months. We had a cutoff time of a positive test by August since DH is a bit older and we don't want any newborns after 40. I'm very grateful. Baby will be nicknamed baby G since both our name choices start with G.
Me: 33 DH: 38 Married: 1/10/15

2nd Pregnancy EDD: 11/6/18 Born 11/09/18 Baby Boy!

Children are like casseroles; it takes a lot to mess them up.
How did you find out - I felt a little off at 8 & and 9 dpo so decided to test at 9dpo (even though I was trying so hard to wait longer) and there it was.... the faintest line (on 2 tests). My husband didn't even believe me. Tested again the next 3 days and watched the lines get progressively darker.
Tell us about yourself - We have an almost 2-year old and fell pregnant on our 3rd month of trying with this one.
How are you feeling - I forgot how anxious I get while pregnant. I am constantly worrying and wondering what's going on in there. So far I don't have a whole lot of symptoms. Maybe just headaches and the occasional night sweats. With my 1st pregnancy I remember sore boobs being one of the first signs before I got my BFP so I always look for that as a sign but it hasn't happened yet. I also got morning sickness around 5-6 weeks with my first so expecting that to start soon.
@night_nurse Here here on Olaf's Adventure! I remember how up in arms people were about it playing before Coco but it was HILARIOUS. I never understood the hate.
@nz113 My husband got me into video games when we were first dating -- he loves RPG's and was playing Final Fantasy XI with some buddies at the time. I had the summer off between graduating college and starting grad school so I had tons of free time and decided, 'why not?'. He got me Oblivion that summer and I basically played it to death haha. Miss all of that free time!!

Hi mamas! So so so happy to be part of this group.
Due date? December 7th
How did you find out? Pregnancy test at fertility clinic 12 days post FET - it’s been a long road with unexplained secondary infertility and we are excited and anxious to finally be pregnant after 7 failed IUIs and 1 failed IVF embryo transfer.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m a social worker (35yo) who works with cancer patients and their caregivers. DH is 37 and works as IT manager at a GPS anti-theft company. We have an 11 year old dog (our first baby!) and a 6.5 year old son who is in first grade. I love to cook and go for walks and spend time with my family!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Feeling so tired - like I crash around 3pm and feel like I can’t function! Insomnia doesn’t help. Moodiness is also pretty noticeable, I am getting so irritated by the smallest things. Our fertility journey makes me extra anxious and I’m constantly worrying that I’ll miscarry and trying to stay positive. I am having such a hard time keeping this a secret until I can see my OB!! My sister just had a baby girl and I can’t wait to tell her that my niece will have a little cousin in a few months!
@dressedupinlove Welcome!! I am another unexplained infertility case that morphed into borderline DOR (diminished ovarian reserve) during my break between IVF cycles to have my daughter (March 2018). I did a FET on 3/19 (EDD 12/5) and I'm pretty sure we have a couple other ladies in the same boat! These early days are so difficult but hopefully we can all support each other. I have a history of miscarriage so I'm crossing my fingers that this is a sticky bean.

How did you find out? - Was about to sign up for the covid vaccine but went to test just in case since we have been TTC. Now will talk to my doc first. Also, my MIL said she had a dream I was pregnant the day before I tested!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) - I have a 2 year old son, 5 year old dog, husband. We like to be outside as much as possible!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) - physically no symptoms, emotionally haven’t really quite processed yet and can’t wait for my appointment on 4/26. Also anxious about covid during pregnancy and having to make a decision about vaccine.
@jph91 If it helps, I got my shots back in Jan/Feb (since i'm a healthcare provider) -- first one was the first week in Jan and a few weeks later I started my IVF cycle (and got the second shot). I had my first fever in 20 years after the second shot but other than that, symptoms were just sore arms and a little fatigue. The problem we're running into with regards to pregnancy and the shot is that we simply don't have any clear answers as to any risks/etc now. We DO know that covid is more severe in pregnant women and may increase risk of preterm birth. We know a bit about how the pregnant women do with the shots -- they've gotten shots and female trial participants got pregnant during the trials and had no ill effects as of yet.
Studies have also shown that pregnant women who get the shot pass the antibodies on to their baby in the womb (not sure how long the antibodies last but probably similar to measles and other things you were vaccinated against -- baby usually has mommy's antibodies for the first few months). The antibodies do not appear to transfer in the breastmilk. What I would probably do is maybe wait several months if you are at low risk of exposure and plan on getting the shot during your 3rd trimester when you are eligible for the other immunizations that are recommended in late pregnancy -- whooping cough and DTAP. Probably by then most medical offices should have access to the shots and then you can knock everything out at once in a comfortable environment.
We actually had a discussion on the PAIF forums a few weeks back about this very topic! The overall consensus was that it's your decision of course, there are unknown risks, but it's probably a good idea to get the shots.

Hello! I’m Mollie. I believe I’m about 5.5 weeks but maybe less. I’m 34, and have a 5 year old girl and 3 year old boy. We are excited for number three! I found out using those cheap Amazon test strips, so I think I’ve tested every day for the past week! I’m feeling really tired today and yesterday, but otherwise good!
@mooreamerican Welcome! I've been tired too and fortunately no nausea or food aversion yet. Mostly just sore boobs and hot flashes (I'm on supplemental progesterone since this was an embryo transfer and as a result, my progesterone levels are really high -- I think something like 45 or 54, I always mix up the numbers).

Hello! Happy to be a part of this group! I want to read through the replies but first going to introduce myself.
My due date is Dec 2 according to the calculators. However, I haven't been to a doctor to confirm yet. Hopefully this week!
We have been trying for about 6 months, and I have been testing religiously every month. When I first saw the faint line I almost didn't get my hopes up - but then two days later it was most certainly there!
My husband and I live in East Africa, but we are both from Florida. We have an 18 month old son. I am currently working on a graduate degree in Descriptive Linguistics so between toddler and class I'm pretty busy.
I'm 5 weeks 2 days, I'm so tired every afternoon. I wake up feeling hungover which usually passes after lunch, but nothing too intense yet. And I've been having hot flashes!
@alixrosev Welcome and congrats! I'm a Floridian as well (South Florida - Palm Beach County). Descriptive Linguistics sounds fascinating -- I took a few linguistics classes in college as my undergrad major was French Lit.

@jph91 and @therealfrizzle I am a little unsure about the COVID vaccine during pregnancy too. I had one scheduled like two days before ovulation, but I had so much anxiety I canceled since I knew we were actively trying. I reached out to my OB via message and they just said I could get it “if I wanted to,” but no recommendations either way. I am hoping to get a better idea when I have my in-person appt in a few weeks. Maybe they just didn’t want their recc in writing. I WFH and DH is social distancing/masking for his work, so hopefully we’ll stay healthy in the next few weeks. DH is getting his vaccine as soon as he can. Hopefully more information will keep coming out about safety and such for the vaccines. It seems like there’s been a lot more just in March, so that’s promising!
@nz113 yay, due date twins! I felt the same way, I told my husband if I am not pregnant something is seriously wrong with my body right now, hahaha. Glad I was right!
@cbd5314 I am pretty anxious as well, I hope we all have healthy pregnancies! My DD is almost two as well!
@dressedupinlove we are keeping this a secret so far too! I am hoping we can make it to our first OB before telling close family. I am extra anxious as well.
@rgn12 I actually just was reading an article about whether or not covid vaccine should be recommended for pregnant patients. They basically said no one can recommend it until we have more data so until then, its "up to you" and your doctor won't make a recommendation.

@mbradfo2 I’m hopeful she’ll at least give me her medical opinion though, even if she can’t guarantee it’s safe. I totally understand that piece, there’s just not enough information to definitively answer. Which totally stinks!! Hopefully the upcoming months and further research/data will make this easier.
@mbradfo2@jph91@rgn12@therealfrizzle I feel like I’m on the opposite end of the COVID vaccine spectrum as some of you — in CA you can’t get a vaccine right now in our age range unless you have a high risk medical condition, which includes pregnancy. I was actually so psyched to find out I was pregnant pre-April 15 (when vaccines open up to everyone) because I thought I’d have an easier time finding an appointment. I signed up for an appointment before the pee on the stick was even dry (ha) and I’m actually getting mine in an hour and a half if all goes well. I’ll keep y’all posted on my experience if you’re interested (although anecdotal evidence is obviously worth very little).

Due date? Dec 6th (seems like a popular due date!)
How did you find out? I tested at 10DPO and had a faint line that got darker over the last week.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?). I am 32 and DH is 35. I have a son who turns 2 this month and a half Sheltie/half jack Russell (weird combo I know) who is 5. I like being creative, baking, making chalkboard art and I recently got into stained glass as a hobby.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) My first midwife appointment is April 13th. I have mild symptoms, nauseous and just tired. Emotionally I have a lot going on. DH and I just sold our house last night because we are moving across Canada in about 2 months. We have lived in the west, central and now are moving out to Eastern Canada. The combo of the move and going into lockdown again (for 4 weeks) and finding out we are pregnant is a lot but I feel like I'm handling it pretty well. As for the Vaccine, @blueowl08 we are like you and if you are pregnant you are high risk so I also pre-registered but don't expect to get a call for about a month. Let us know how it goes though!
*TW*
We miscarried our first child so you never forget that experience obviously and sometimes I have negative thoughts that it may happen again but I try and come back out of my head with positive affirmations and keeping busy. Tomorrow I will be 5 weeks so I'm just taking it one day at a time.
Welcome @kaitcrystalline ! We’re due date twins, funny it does seem to be a popular one for our BMB!
I’m with you on trying to keep busy and taking things one day at a time. **TW** My loss was right at 5 weeks a few months ago, so tomorrow being five weeks very much feels like a milestone (and also triggering at the same time). I hope we all have healthy and uneventful pregnancies this time around! ❤️
I also lost my first pregnancy at about 8 weeks along so I understand the anxiety -- I am just focusing on certain milestones to keep sane but positive. Tomorrow is my 4th beta and it will hopefully be over 5000 so we can schedule the u/s. Then it will be the wait until u/s and hoping to see that heartbeat. I'm trying my best to reassure myself that this time we used genetically tested embryos and my previous losses were most likely genetically abnormal. Hopefully it will be an uneventful first few months and then the ride until due date!

@bearsandbeers7 3 under 30 sounds pretty great to me since I’ll having my second at 35. I feel a little tired already and it occurs to me that I’ll be solidly in my 50s before our second is out of high school! There’s always pluses and minuses I suppose.
@cbd5314 I feel you on the anxiety. I’m just counting down the (many) days until my first OB appointment
@dressedupinlove count me in for insomnia. I don’t think it’s necessarily pregnancy related but I have not been sleeping well and feel drained by the end of the day.
@jph91 we love being outside too. We try to get in a good hike every weekend although with a two year old sometimes we only make it a mile
@mooreamerican I too have been testing every day on cheap strips (what else am I going to do with them?) DH won’t stop making fun of me
@alixrosev East Africa - wow! I’ve never lived abroad but it seems so exciting. Are you there just for the near term or is it more permanent?
@caitkrystalline That does seem like a ton to deal with! I hope the move goes smoothly.
Quick update for those interested in my vaccine adventure: it went smoothly yesterday although the CVS I went to was a bit slow. I was so worried they’d want proof of pregnancy or something that I no joke brought a test with me just in case. But of course they didn’t ask anything. My arm hurts and I was So Exhausted last night but otherwise I’m feeling ok today.
@dressedupinlove @blueowl08 I think my insomnia, at least, is mostly related to anxiety! DH was awesome this morning -- I had gotten up early since my daughter woke up at 4 am and she fell asleep in her bed after a bit as I was sitting with her (and dozing myself) so I got up and went back to bed at around 6 am. DH let me sleep in until almost noon!! I was shocked when I woke up and I was alone in the bed -- I'm so used to getting up before everyone.

December 5th, i think.
How did you find out?
Took a test after waking up with a suspicion. Have had very irregular cycles since my IUD removal. Instant BFP.
Tell us about yourself:
I am 28 and an ER nurse, DH is 38 and a Paramedic.
I am excited to have a fall/winter baby; it's my favorite time of the year. I just love all of the holidays and the weather! I'm mostly active on the infertility boards. Also, we already know the gender since our embryos were tested -- this will be girl #2!!

@night_nurse
I also just completed my vaccination in early Feb (first dose in Jan). My husband gets his first shot next week and I'm so excited for him.
@nz113
My sister gets HG too...she usually ends up taking ondansetron/zofran and it helps a little bit...but so miserable. I hope you have an easier time of it this go-around.

How did you find out?
@nz113 ooh a farm sounds beautiful. Good luck!
@gymkim67 due date twins! I’m terrified about how to handle #2. I’m in awe of your #5
@mbradfo2 everyone talks about their kids watching frozen non stop, but my 2 year old refuses to watch it so far. Give it to me straight...is it just a matter of time?
“I survived my 6 year journey to my daughter by always expecting the worst and then getting delighted with the better” this resonated with me so much!! It’s exactly how I felt going into this transfer.

Honestly, I'm not so sure how it happened! My daughter fell in love with Frozen a bit after she turned 2 and wanted to be magical like Elsa and brave like Anna. But she always loved anything colorful, sparkly and pretty.
@misshelen86
Yeah, with my daughter I joined another pregnancy birth club (What to Expect) and I just did not feel like I fit in AT ALL.

@nz113 hello from North Ga as well!

Children are like casseroles; it takes a lot to mess them up.
Here here on Olaf's Adventure! I remember how up in arms people were about it playing before Coco but it was HILARIOUS. I never understood the hate.
@nz113
My husband got me into video games when we were first dating -- he loves RPG's and was playing Final Fantasy XI with some buddies at the time. I had the summer off between graduating college and starting grad school so I had tons of free time and decided, 'why not?'. He got me Oblivion that summer and I basically played it to death haha. Miss all of that free time!!

I’m a social worker (35yo) who works with cancer patients and their caregivers. DH is 37 and works as IT manager at a GPS anti-theft company. We have an 11 year old dog (our first baby!) and a 6.5 year old son who is in first grade. I love to cook and go for walks and spend time with my family!
Feeling so tired - like I crash around 3pm and feel like I can’t function!
Welcome!!

If it helps, I got my shots back in Jan/Feb (since i'm a healthcare provider) -- first one was the first week in Jan and a few weeks later I started my IVF cycle (and got the second shot).

Welcome!

Nice to meet you ladies!
Welcome and congrats!

I actually just was reading an article about whether or not covid vaccine should be recommended for pregnant patients. They basically said no one can recommend it until we have more data so until then, its "up to you" and your doctor won't make a recommendation.

@mbradfo2 @jph91 @rgn12 @therealfrizzle I feel like I’m on the opposite end of the COVID vaccine spectrum as some of you — in CA you can’t get a vaccine right now in our age range unless you have a high risk medical condition, which includes pregnancy.
Nice! Happy Vaccination Day! Good luck

We miscarried our first child so you never forget that experience obviously and sometimes I have negative thoughts that it may happen again but I try and come back out of my head with positive affirmations and keeping busy. Tomorrow I will be 5 weeks so I'm just taking it one day at a time.
Welcome and congrats!

Welcome @bearsandbeets7, @therealfrizzle, @cbd5314, @dressedupinlove, @jph91, @mooreamerican, @alixrosev, @kaitcrystalline!
@bearsandbeers7 3 under 30 sounds pretty great to me since I’ll having my second at 35. I feel a little tired already and it occurs to me that I’ll be solidly in my 50s before our second is out of high school! There’s always pluses and minuses I suppose.
@therealfrizzle I always loved Ms Frizzle. She was the best
@blueowl08
I think my insomnia, at least, is mostly related to anxiety!
