@puppylove8910 This is a little late, but I wanted to chime in and say I had that SAME pinching when I was 4-5 weeks this go around. I think (like to think also) it is the LO embedding himself into the wall even further. I definitely recall it with DS too. I was WAY too blissfully naive with DD to have noticed. Miss those days haha.
I guess I can post these now? I am REALLY on edge about having symptoms, so I think I've been in denial that they've been here for a few days now! My symptoms were SO strong with DS, that I think I've been waiting to feel literally dead to "count" them, but that's not fair to my anxiety... so here it goes...
6 weeks + 3 days and OMG the fatigue. Hit today like NO OTHER... a bit yesterday, but essentially from the second I woke up, I've been DEAD tired and that was after a rare 8 hours of sleep for me. Also the nausea... I REALLY have a high tolerance for nausea and throwing up, so I can't say this is BAD, but I think I can firmly say it is here... it definitely isn't constant, but when it comes, it is hard to ignore for at least a bit. Hoping it gets worse and worse
@miss.sally @jpalacios892 good luck with the cramping! I've had it on and off since my BFP (I'm 7+1) and I'm going to start taking acetaminophen when I have it more consistently.
Anyone else have heartburn? I know it's early but I was really feeling it today.
@rs0806 I’ve had heartburn and acid reflux! I’ve never experienced that in previous pregnancies but it has been awful with this one. I really have to watch what I eat, and I always keep tums handy.
4 weeks 1 day today. My breasts have been SO sore for over a week now. (Started way earlier than my first pregnancy) no nausea yet but a lot of cramping(which I didn’t experience with my first pregnancy) no spotting or anything. Is this normal? Have an appointment with my family physician on Thursday.
Ahhhh I think I’m experiencing restless leg syndrome. The sides of my hips, all the way down my legs are in pain and I can’t get comfortable. This is a first for me.
I'm only 4/3 today. Only symptom is mild nausea so far. Am slightly worried that my boobs don't hurt - that was my first symptom with my other 2 pregnancies.
@miss.sally How are you doing this morning? What time is your appointment???
AFM, 6+3 today and finally "feeling" pregnant. For me that means that I feel like I'm hungover all the time - constant low grade nausea, fatigue, just feeling off and icky etc. I had one day last week where I was REALLY nauseous, but luckily it hasn't been too bad since. I also go from "I can't stand the thought of eating anything" to "OMG I MUST EAT NOOOOOOWWWWW" within the span of 5 minutes. And, of course, the only foods that I can fathom eating are various forms of carbs and cheese. Oh, and the moodiness and irritability are WAY worse this pregnancy. I feel like I'm possessed. Thank god DH is giving me a lot of grace because I'm a monster.
To my ladies with little to no symptoms and that is making you anxious.... that doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong! At week 6 I felt minimal nausea and week 7 I felt completely normal. Scared me to death, I was convinced something was going wrong. Well, I just had my 8 week scan and baby is growing and doing great. Dr says “there is nothing magical about feeling terrible during your pregnancy”. Just wanted to post to ease any anxiety out there ❤️
@stassisschroeder "I also go from 'I can't stand the thought of eating anything' to 'OMG I MUST EAT NOOOOOOWWWWW'" within the span of 5 minutes." This is a familiar feeling to me, as of very recently--though mostly dominated by the not being able to stand the thought of eating anything possibly. Haha. I am always glad when someone says they're going thru something & I get to be like, "yay that's normal! woo!"
I'm 6w3d today and just yesterday I started getting lower back pain (which is normally the only symptom I have when I have my period) and my breasts starting hurting. Otherwise I've had very little symptoms which is worrisome but staying positive
My pregnancy symptoms are REAL this time. My other 2 pregnancies I was super tired and generally a little bit nauseous; this time it has been non-stop puking, exhaustion (I'm talking fall asleep mid-conversation exhausted), sore boobs, cramps, heartburn...food aversions to literally EVERYTHING. At least I know my hormones are rising
@knottie924d6f88ba150a4f I have had cramping too - it’s not all day, but it’s everyday for me. I believe it is a totally normal symptom based on what I’ve read (but it’s my first pregnancy so I’m not an expert!). Hope you’re feeling better
I’m 6w 1d today and holy Moses!! I don’t remember this with dd butttttt the round ligament pain when sneezing... 😑 I think I would much rather want to pee on myself.
I am between 6-7 weeks and so far have no symptoms to speak of. I found though, I am unable to eat as much as I normally do. So like a sandwich and 1/2 a salad for lunch today and I couldn't finish. Had the same feeling yesterday. Today was walking around while on a phone call at work and felt more out of breath than normal. Other than that, I am fine, which partly worries me and partly excites me. Waiting for 3rd round of BW which I did this morning to confirm the baby is growing enough. Some minor cramping sometimes but nothing bad. My stomach is constantly in knots as I am super anxious. Conceived through the first round of IUI after trying for 2+ years on our own. First child. Super scared. Ordered PNV and a few books yesterday. That was big.
I think we complicate things when really it's quite simple; find what it is that makes you happy and you're set. Promise.
@cnmontoya Shortness of breath is TOTALLY a symptom... and so is a change in appetite. I am 100% the same. I get all excited to eat and then can't finish my meal!
Also devastating symptom here, folks. I work full time, have two kids, three pets, an hour commute, and my husband travels M-Tr for work. So what I do to treat myself nearly every night is that after DD FINALLY goes to bed, I eat vegan Ben and Jerry's ice cream while watching trash tv. It's delicious and something I look forward to doing. Well, last night I was too nauseous to eat it I just sat there motionless staring at the TV.
just like last time the "hung over" feeling is immediately present... I'm only 4 weeks tomorrow! I also get dizzy and thirsty more often... happy to have symptoms though
@kishanicole1025 I have had round ligament pain continuously since my last pregnancy! Like every once in a while if I get up from lying down too quickly, sharp abdominal pain. 😫
@EmilyLove25@varimama It's not that I get nauseated at night but that... I don't want to eat too much? Like I hit a limit, and I'm like oh, that is the last bite of that I can take. But yeah-- I rarely ever say no thanks when DH is like "I'm having ice cream; do you want some?" but totally have a few times recently...
I feel absolutely famished and then get myself so full I get bloated. It’s a REALLY fun cycle Trying to get better about small meals/snacking to get the nausea at bay without over eating.
This is mostly a small rant about #AmericanPuritanism, but--I wish there were pictures of a variety of the different things breast changes during pregnancy look like! I can't tell if my areolas are just getting--even larger (they're already large) or if I'm developing a non-itchy rash around them or if this is what it means when ppl say they get darker?? I skipped a shower yesterday bc I didn't leave the house, but that doesn't seem like a reason my areolas would look like they are... expanding weirdly... Also, the parts that I am noticing look a little drier than the rest of the breast/nipple? Dr. Google is making me crazy w/ all the "worst case scenarios," but from the quick searching I did, I am guessing it's probably just bc of "hormone changes." It just pisses me off that there aren't... more pictures of pregnant breasts on the internet &, like, captions that all say, "this is normal," "this is normal," "this is normal."
@kagesstarshroom My general rule with breasts is that if it’s happening to both it’s probably normal. If it’s just one breast it’s probably an issue. Obviously some negative things can affect both but in my experience it’s mostly worked out. Like if I feel pain when nursing but it’s both sides it’s always been hormonal changes like ovulation, period, or pregnancy. If it’s one sided pain it’s been a range of things clogged duct, milk bleb, my son bit me on that side, etc...

@kagesstarshroom I agree with @varimama - if it happens to both then it is probably fine. Mine always get bigger, bumpier, and my nipples have some discharge. Def bring up the rash to the OB when you go though - could be completely normal tho!!
Afm - still POAS even with betas this morning BUT I’m confident I’m pregnant because I just woke up after a concert where I obviously didn’t drink and feel like I drank an entire bottle of tequila.... my body is just wreck from staying up til midnight!!
@chichiphin My god, you stayed out until midnight?!?! May god be with you today. I'd literally be in tears I'd be so tired hahahaha. FX on those betas!
@chichiphin The Rolling Stones??? Yes, heck yes. That justifies the misery today. Was it awesome?
AFM, just threw up at work. I have crackers and I think they are helping, but my new office (new from my last pregnancy) is less private... and the bathroom is further away... so this could be embarrassing!
@EmilyLove25 I was SHOCKED at how amazing they are at this age. It was incredible. I’m so sorry you threw up!! I hope you can keep it secret for a bit longer
@chichiphin That's so amazing. I hope to see them someday. And thank you! I'm glad to be sick. Give me all the symptoms. I don't really care about people knowing. I told my boss (also now a close friend) the day it happened), but who wants to hear someone puking??? Haha. So gross.
The Rolling Stones?!? I'm so jealous. They are the BEST. @chichiphin

@kagesstarshroom I'm with you! I actually google "breast changes during pregnancy" the other day and there was nothing. I don't want drawings; I want real pictures!
I still haven’t felt nauseous, but my uterus feels like it’s stretching all the time. It’s a weird feeling! Not quite cramping but enough sometimes to be a little uncomfortable.
@kantobean That's how my uterus feels right now, too. I think I'm roughly the same time along as you. It's not a big cramp, but it's definitely mildly achy and feels like it's growing. Not painful but not comfy either.
My usual distaste for food in general went away today and I just want to eat all the things. And by all the things I mean bean and cheese burritos only. That’s safe to live off of, right?
