Ages (you and SO): I'm 34 and he's 37. I've been on the bump for over 3 years... and thought I'd introduce myself in case my close friend gets banned...

How many months have you been TTC?: For freaking ever. Over 3 years. October is a hard month for me because I've had 4 MC and 2 of them were in October. 

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: I used to do all the things, and now I'm just kinda floating along... You know, #BitterHagPartyOf1

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I have 2 amazing collies, I'm a Fed, and someone once described me as a "class warrior" and I think that's pretty apt.

Hello, I posted yesterday, but I think I was in the old intro thread. I am not new to the bump, but it’s been awhile. I have a 4.5 year old son and my daughter turned 1 yesterday. We just started trying for number 3. I went off the pill a couple of weeks ago, still nursing a very stubborn babe that won’t take a sippy or a bottle. About me, I work full time in sales. I am turning 35 at the end of the year and DH is 37. I’m a big foodie and I love to cook. I’m doing opks, waiting on non expired ones to arrive lol. Ill be temping and doing all the usual stuff. I was really involved in my October17 group (still am in our group) and was lucky enough to form amazing friendships with some wonderful ladies. Im looking forward to getting to know everyone here.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: We're starting our second medicated/TI cycle with my RE.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I've been around TB for a while and spent a good deal of time on TTGP while we were trying for our first, who just turned 1.  I'm also apparently not very interesting because I'm having a hard time coming up with anything NRB here...  so... I like reading, football, cheese... and we have a dog!  Looking forward to getting to know you all!  (I promise, I'm not as big a loser as this intro makes me look...)

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): My name is Kali and I'm from Snohomish, WA. My DS turned 2 in August. I'm a sahm with a small shop I work on after he goes to bed. I joined the bump in 2015, but never posted or commented before today! My social media anxiety has decreased over the last couple of years and I'm hoping to be more involved here this go around 🤗

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I work for a travel insurance company but my dept is closing so job  hunting for me.....I like to sew and knit, watch tv.... been trying to declutter and do house projects lately!

Ages (you and SO): I'm at the tail end of 34 and DH is 35

How many months have you been TTC?: started TTC #2 in April 2018 so approx 6 months. 

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: for the last 6 months we’ve been keeping it pretty light with BDing EOD after AF for a week or so. This cycle I’m ready to go with my wondfos and BBT. 

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I’m a big time TB lurker. I joined TB in 2015-2016 (I think?). I feel like I need to push past my social anxiety and start posting. I have a 19 month old (March 2017 BMB lurker) and a crazy 5 year old pup. Hubby and I love spending our weekends outside and drinking way too much coffee. Oh and we’re from Canada.

Just getting over a loss so this is our first month TTC since then. 

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?:  right now just seeing what happens this cycle. I'll start charting (loosely) in a cycle or two. 

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I have 4 boys and run a small farm. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, chickens, turkeys, a guinea, ducks, geese, goats, and a very Beefy cow. I also enjoy taking pics, mostly of our animals and boys.

Hi everyone! I’ve been lurking for a couple of weeks and thought I’d finally jump in and introduce myself. 

Ages (you and SO): I’m 29, DH is 31. 

How many months have you been TTC?: I just got my Mirena out three weeks ago! We plan to start actually TTC at the beginning of the year, but when my five years was up in September we decided it made sense to go ahead and get it out and spend a couple of months tracking my cycles to figure out if I’ll be regular. I have PCOS and never had regular cycles before BC. It’s been a long time, though, so I’m hoping they do end up evening out. My OBGYN suggested giving myself three months for my cycles to become regular, if not she said to come back and we’ll talk about some options. 

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: So far, just preparing by tracking my cycles, BBT, and CM on Glow. Plus reading TCOYF.  

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): This will be our first child. We’ve been married for a little over 3 years (together a little over 6). I absolutely love to travel, and I’m a runner. I had no baby fever whatsoever until our best friends had a little boy last month. I’m absolutely in love with him already, and he’s not even mine!

Hi everyone! I'm new here but have read the rules and lurked for the week so I feel ready to introduce myself (haha).

Ages (you and SO): 27/28

How many months have you been TTC?: 1 

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?:  I went off the pill last month and am tacking my period, but otherwise we'll just keep having sex (probably making sure it doesn't go more than 3 days around the time that I should be ovulating). I think that I'll be able to do this for a couple months, but I feel like I'll start to need to get additional products to really detect ovulation after that since I have a SEMI obsessive personality.

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.):  This will be our first kid, but we do have a furbaby, a wonderfully neurotic copper haired terrier mutt. I'm a lawyer and my husband works in the tech field. Overall, I'm pretty boring and just love to veg out and watch trashy reality TV.

Hi Everyone, I have been lurking around and I thought it was time to introduce myself.

Ages (you and SO): I'm 29 and DH will be 30 next month 

How many months have you been TTC?: This will be month 1 (hopefully, getting Kyleena IUD out Friday) 

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: I am getting my IUD out Friday, I ordered a basal thermometer, I have not had a period in years due to my IUD so I have no idea when my cycle is which is a bit concerning to me. I am going to track my BBT starting Tuesday (thermometer arrives Monday) and when/if AF comes after IUD removal I will start tracking that as well. 

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): This will be our first child, we have some furbabies (a dog and horse!) that we adore. I teach middle school. We love to be active and outside.

What are you doing to get knocked up? Metformin, letrozole, tracking, checking CM, EOD

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I have two older stepkids, and then our 6 year old and almost 4 year old together. We also have two dogs and a Siamese cat that makes for a busy household. I’ve always been more of a lurker but I find myself wanting to connect more so decided to introduce myself!

(used the skyla IUD for 2 years and had it taken out 10/2017)

What are you doing to get knocked up?:  charting (FF/Ava), CM, opk, preseed 

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc):   0 kids, 1 cockapoo maltese mix.  I actually had to make the tough decision of quitting my job (in HIV research) so that I can deal with having pretty severe PMDD and trying to conceive (trying to rely less on antidepressants).  I guess I’m a stay at home dog mom!  Love to cook, hike, take photos, dance, and SLEEP!

I'm 31 and my husband is almost 33. We just started TTC and this is only our 2nd month. We are just trying to time it right having intercourse as much as possible, during my believed window, charting CM.

This will be our last baby. We are a blended family and this will be our 2nd child together, and 4th and last baby. I'm an HR coordinator and my husband is a service coordinator.

Hi Everyone,
I’m new to the bump, I’ve already posted once in a new thread but I felt like all hell broke loose. So I’m going to try this again in the appropriate section with hopes of not upsetting or offending anyone, since I know that getting pregnant is a sensitive subject. Ok here goes- 

I will be 31 years old next month and my husband is 35.

We’ve been trying to get pregnant for 6 months (that’s also when I had my IUD removed). I know this isn’t long but please don’t judge. 

So far my husband and I have tried having sex every day during high/Peak fertility and ovulation and every other day during the month. I bought an Ava bracelet to help track my cycle as well as ovulation strips. I’ve tried taking prenatals, using essential oils, drinking fertility tea, doing accupuncture, and getting adjustments. I have an appointment with my obgyn this week for tests. 

My husband and I own a wellness clinic, we don’t have any human children but have 4 beautiful fur kids (dogs) and our favorite thing to do is travel.

Im hoping to connect with you and hope that through this journey we are all on we can all be blessed with a miracle someday.

@Aurora_Borealis Hi Aurora, I can relate with you, Although I don't have PCOS, I did have my mirena removed in May and my husband and I started trying in June. When we first met we were the couple that said "no kids" and somewhere down the line that changed for us both. We got married almost two years ago and like you, we love to travel. I use to be runner as well till I got married lol. Our good friends just had a baby two months ago as well (he will be my Godson) and I caught a bad case of the baby fever.

I got pregnant the first month i had mirena removed, but it was a CP. Then it took me 9 months to get pregnant before having another loss. I've had two more CP's since then.

For me, Ava and FF have done a bang-up job of getting me pregnant (getting pregnant is not my issue). I highly recommend using one or the other. For me, I have a delay between ovulation and temp rise, so FF does confirm I ovulated but my dpo's are sometimes off.

@auroraborealis0 there are a few of us here with PCOS so you're certainly not alone in that respect. I didn't know I had it until several months off the pill. I had a withdrawal bleed, which came around the time I expected to get my period (28 days), but I was an-ovulatory for 9 months so my cycles were all over the place. Tracking my BBT was essential, I wish I had known that sooner so glad to hear you'll be charting that.

@ruby696 I wanted to first start by saying I'm so sorry for your loss and thank you for your suggestions about FF and Ava. Can I ask if you've been to see a chiropractor? I am not a chiropractor, but we have many patients at the clinic that come in to get their pelvis adjusted and it has helped with carrying a child to full term. Don't quote me on this but I think it helps keep the uterus relaxed and pelvis adjustment helps align the uterus and cervix so that the baby can grow.

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Charting. I'm curious about the Ava, but am worried about nosy people asking what it is. Have any of you that use it run into that?

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): We have a black lab we adore. I work in communications. I love to cook and bake, do crafty things like knitting, and play outside. We're also fixing up an old house, which eats up most of our free time. Oh, and @RedBreast35,  I also love cheese!

@eranfaraway welcome! there are a few Ava users on here who can help with that. You're probably most likely to get answers in the monthly questions thread here but from what I know about it, I believe you only wear it at night so you shouldn't have any Nosey Nancys all up in your beeswax about it. @dogmomma096 can you confirm?

@eranfaraway I use Ava at night only. I'm pretty sure the photos you see of women wearing it while drinking coffee are promotional, because I'm almost positive sure the instructions indicate night use only. It can differentiate between when your awake and asleep, but night readings are what matter.

@eranfaraway Yes, it's only worn at night. You're not supposed to wear it during the day even if you wanted to - it is designed to track data while you are sleeping. I've been able to discretely sleep with it on at night when sharing a hotel room with my sister and *hopefully* she didn't notice.

@eranfaraway I've been using Eva for about 4 months, it's only used at night. I really like the hassle free results my only issue was obsessing over and comparing my charts to months prior or to other peoples charts. Also I don't know if it read my peak/high & ovulation surges correctly. I was also using the ovulation sticks and the results would differ.

What are you doing to get knocked up?: Charting (I’ve been using both Ava and FF), OPKs, checking CM. 

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): We don’t have any children or pets. I work as a nurse and DH works in IT. We just got married last month and we love to travel. I enjoy doing yoga and reading (can you tell I’m an introvert?).

How many months have you been TTC?: I just had my Paragard IUD removed yesterday, so this is our first cycle!

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: For now, we will be NTNP, in January I will begin tracking ovulation. Currently use a phone app, that guestimates OV, but not temping or tracking CM as of now. 

Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): Hello! I've been lurking for a bit, in anticipation of TTC. I have two boys, July 14 and January 17. I was a part of both BMB for them, although far more active in J17, and the community support was wonderful, looking forward to interacting and getting to know the ladies on here! I work from home, and we also have a German Shepard fur baby. We've been married for 5.5 years, and hoping to add one more LO to complete our family!
