@kbirchtree I have flushable wipes and I’m taking 2 stool softeners a day, probably going to up it cause holy ouch Batman. I seriously considered sitting on an ice pack earlier.
I know you can have them removed but since they are likely to come back each pregnancy I’m waiting till we are done. But that seems very far away right now.

@kangstadt Vick’s vaporub right under (and a little inside) your nostrils. Might not fix the problem entirely but if often gives me a little wind tunnel to work with!
I woke up yesterday with a sore throat and chalked it up to allergies. It has gotten worse and now I can barely talk/swallow. Plus I’ve had a 3 day migraine. I actually had a kid free night last night (my parents took them) and barely I slept. I don’t have the time or energy to be sick! Lol. *rant over*
I'm overweight and can certainly afford to lose some weight; I would be thrilled with the scale shifting down if I weren't pregnant. I've lost about 5-6 lbs since my first appt on 9/21. I've been very picky about eating and get very full, very fast. I know it's not necessarily something to be concerned about, and if I lose much more before my next appointment, I'll call my midwife....but I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same thing?
@heather0128 First tri weight loss is common because: - vomiting - food aversions - positive changes in eating and exercise habits
I lost some weight early and it’s stabilized at my pre-pregnancy weight once I got hydration under control. I also lost weight early in my first pregnancy (but had gained it back by the end of first tri). The docs never even mentioned it.
+1 on the amazing nails. I love having naturally long nails during pregnancy. One of the positive perks.
Thought I was feeling better and now have a tired feeling with a migraine to accompany it. Poor DD threw up twice today and I felt terrible because my mother basically had to clean her up because I was gagging off the smell. Thank goodness she was there. Now DD is feeling better so it would seem but it's been a lazy rest of the day.

Migraines suck. I had one last week too. I’ve found icing the back of my neck helps with the pain/nausea
@kbirchtree yes I like to put an ice pack on my neck and a heating pad on my forehead. It sucks because 1) I cant take any good meds(like excedrin and sudafed) and 2) one of my triggers is weather and we keep having rain systems coming in and more for the rest of the week. So I see no relief in sight. I did take a steamy shower earlier that gave me some temporary relief. Hopefully a trip to the chiropractor tomorrow helps too
Well one good thing that came from telling is that my sisters best friend, who we grew up with and it like another sister to me, saved everything from her son that just turned a year and text me offering hella hand me downs!
I was was surprised she still has anything considering she doesn’t want more kids.

My son just cried for 30 minutes at bedtime, rolling on the floor saying his legs hurt and he needed us to carry him back to bed - after he left his bedroom to delay bedtime yet again.
@mermaidca holy snow Batman! I wish I lived where it snowed.
When it snows I always wish I lived where it didn’t. Haha! But it would take a lot for me to move because my immediate family all lives within 15 minutes of me and we’re all very close.
Even though it just started to dip into the 40s at night I refuse to turn the heat on until November 1st. It was pretty warm today so the house is still in the low 70s.
I’m planning my SIL’s bachelorette and every idea has some form of alcohol involved. The positive is that I won’t have to worry about finding a DD.
Also feel free to offer up your suggestions. However we’re both in our late 30s so the sound of bar hopping doesn’t really appeal much. I was thinking of a mani/pedi, winery tour/sampling, and then dinner at a really nice ($$$) restaurant.
Huge shoutout to @professormama for reminding me to update my address so I can vote! (I moved within the same city but voting location changed).
@heather0128 I've lost about 6 pounds as well. I'm overweight but not obese. My OB was ok with it at my appt on Thursday but said that he hopes I don't lose much more.
@blueberrymomma and re hemorrhoids, I’ve been laughing my butt off at how relatable the comments are here. Pro tip: fiber supplement w/ tons of water, Epsom salt baths and roll up a wash cloth and sit on it, can even take ice cubes into the tub and roll in wash cloth to make cold compress. Works great to alternate warm and cold, especially postpartum!!!! Preparation H, and TMI but don’t be afraid to grease the tracks before you go if it’s bad (gloves please). Also milk of magnesia is safe for pregnancy and glycerin suppositories.
I have HG and zofran constipation hell is real!!! As are my souvenir hemorrhoids from DS’s birth!!! Take good care of your bottom cuz it can make you miserable!!!

I'm doing this a second time?
