Massive snow fall in my city overnight and it's still going!!!  My usually 25 minute commute took me almost 90 minutes.  My co-worker was an hour late to work yesterday (for no reason) so I can't even imagine how late she'll be with the weather today.  Going on 2+ hours late now... It puts a lot of pressure on me when she's not in and I'm just not looking forward to it.

@mermaidca That really sucks, does she at least get in trouble for it? My work has some people who have been here so long that they don’t really have consequences when they mess up. It’s uber annoying. 
Also im jealous of your snow!

@harveyisaboysname I am with you! My mom always makes weird comments about how amazing DH is bc he does stuff. Yea his kid/house too. While I can agree he is great I always feel like I need to defend the idea of equality to my mother.

And no.  No real consequences here.  It doesn't help shes dumb as hell and that just frustrates me.  In my interview they told me I'd be working with a super junior coworker who will need a ton of guidance.  Fast forward to my first day and we realize we went to school and graduated together.  So No, she's not super junior they just let her get away with being lazy and dumb.

@squirttheturtle ask your doctor. I dyed my hair when I was pregnant with DD and she is fine. Most people aren't dying their hair as often as "recommended" anyways. I usually go every 12 weeks or so. So a few times during pregnancy will not hurt anything. I don't know much about blow outs though.

@sdelg09 it's definitely early but we are almost always guaranteed snow by Halloween.  I do love snow and winter, but our trees still have a few leaves left and my garden isn't cleaned out yet.  Ugh.

I’ve completely dropped the ball in a couple of my classes, and I just can’t get myself to care. On the other hand, I have solid a’s in two of my classes. The only thing that bothers me is knowing my gpa is going to drop. I definitely not going to graduate when i was supposed to. And I am perfectly fine with that. I finally have a really awesome, solid job and right now my primary concern is the baby. I have been judged and questioned for not finishing college yet but 🤷🏻‍♀️ That’s a story for another day.

@sdelg09 explain the pregnancy to your professors and see if they’ll give an extension. And then block out some time to knock out those assignments. Unless it’s tests you’ve already taken in which case...🤷‍♀️

@lyse01 one class is online. I should have known better. I am very hands-on and I have a hard time remembering and doing assignments unless I take the classes in person. I actually do have hope for that class. The other is my FINAL math credit. I am embarrassed to say how many times I have taken that class. My brain just cannot process numbers at that level. Homework, with notes next to me? Sure. It almost feels like a puzzle. No matter how much I practice, it’s always out the window when test time comes.

@lyse01 I haven’t been able to go this semester, because the professor’s office hours are during my work hours. I’m trying not to use that as an excuse, though. DH is a math genius and he helps me almost every day! So I’m making an effort. I just have insane test anxiety.

Did anyone opt out of the first trimester blood test? My OB ordered that and the NIPT. I did the NIPT but forgot to run into a clinic to get the first trimester screening done. At this point I don’t even want to get it done. Just thinking about taking 6 vials of blood is making me sick. I already know I’m RH negative and I feel like the NIPT is enough for the genetic testing. Thoughts?

I’m so tired. Slept for a total of 6 hours last night. 
Woke up to use the restroom, couldn’t get back to sleep and then DH woke up and since I wasn’t feeling bad we had some fun. Passed out for another hour before the alarm. 
Now I’m at work for 9 and a half hours. One manager left because of a toothache and the other one on his best day does the bare minimum. He’s done nothing thus far. 
Going to be a long day/evening.

Even though I know better I still pulled out the home doppler yesterday at 11+1. I have a tilted uterus and when I was pregnant with DS my Dr. had problems finding the heartbeat with their hospital grade doppler when I was much further along. Yet I still did it and of course didn't hear anything....

@sdelg09 I was the same with online classes, I couldn’t learn in that format.  What math class are you in? (I majored in math)

We have a fundraiser dinner tonight for DHs cousin with brain cancer. It’s at an extremely fancy restaurant and I don’t have the energy  to shower and do my hair right now. But we are sitting at the same table with said cousin so we have to go

@harveyisaboysname - I really want to do so testing but my insurance apparently doesn't cover anything not needed. So I am also wondering if I do the NIPT will that just be enough?

@harveyisaboysname which NIPT are you talking about? We did the NT and sequential screen which was only one vial of blood.  It tested for trisomies and spina bifida.

I thought the 1st tri screening was like iron levels/ blood glucose/ white cell count etc. very different from NIPT. With DD they found my gestational diabetes from my 1st tri blood work.

Oooh could be. They were calling the two parts of my sequential screen 1st Tri and 2nd Tri since I get blood work twice. Yeah my baseline blood work was like 5 or 6 vials back in week 9.

I hit a car on my lunch break  I really don’t think anything in my life can get any worse. I left a note and took pictures. Now I have to sit in class for the next 8 hours trying to hold back tears. They lady’s car is all scratched up and mine has minor damage. Ive never been in an accident or even received a ticket so I just want to go hide under a blanket and have my husband deal with the lady and our insurance. He refuses though because he wasn’t the one who hit her. Like you just have to call her and give her our insurance info and make the claim online. If I do it I’m going to cry and throw up at the same time.

@harveyisaboysname - if she calls pissed off just cry and tell them you are pregnant. Insurance should be easy especially if it was small. was it in a parking lot? I have been in 3 accidents all in parking lots and they were pretty straight foward

@harveyisaboysname at least you left a note. Those kinds of things happen all the time. We're all human and I'm sure the other car owner will understand that. Give yourself grace hun, don't beat yourself up too badly over something like that.

DH and I are going to look at apartments tomorrow. We are both in a great place job wise and are definitely feeling more stable. I’m beyond nervous, because we’ve looked at apartments before and ended up changing our minds because we didn’t “need” to move. But now we have a baby on the way, so I’m hoping we can find something that works for us!

@harveyisaboysname DH should call for you. I know mine would if I was crying (he took care of the mean sexist phone lady for me lol) At least no one was hurt and it’s just surface damage so your claim should be easy.

I feel like I’m forgetting so much stuff right now. I literally have to leave post-it-notes for myself all over my desk at work to remember anything. I couldn’t remember where I parked my car when I stopped at the mall today and I wasn’t even there that long.

Had another appointment today and finally actually got to meet my doctor and I really like her! Also got to hear the heartbeat on doppler which was exciting. Everything sounded good! Got the blood draw for the nipt too so I'm hoping to get good news in a week or so 😁. 
My friend watched DS during my appointment and when I went to pick him up, he practically refused to leave bc he was having so much fun with her daughter which was awesome to see.

So excited that dd hair stayed in a braid for the first time today!! She is 3 just before Christmas... her hair didn’t really start growing until last
year around now.

Well I was going to post today a question: does anyone wake up and not feel pregnant? But then I got out of bed and within 5 minutes had to run to the bathroom and now can’t stop throwing up. Of course it’s all just stomach juices since I have not yet eaten this morning. 

Just a little reminder from my baby that they’re still in there growing.
