He’s probably going to troll you and decide the day school starts.
This is what my kid would do.
Lmao @kayjay44 and @madreofdragons yes he probably will and I will Walk his ass to the school and enroll him right then and there haha (it’s catholic they will need the enrollment trust me hahha)
@danixbanani24 we did the 3 day method, first naked waist down, then transitioned to Trolls panties she picked out. We really talked up not peeing on poppy and branch. That part was a big help.
We’ve been trying to train DD since she was 2 and it took forever. Then after she was peeing in the toilet, getting her to poop there took forever (she liked crawling under a table with a toy where no one could see her). Good luck @danixbanani24, let us know how it goes!
I’ve got a massive headache and slept like shit so I’m working from home because I can and after 2 weeks of working my ass off while my coworker traveled, I deserve it.
I’m beginning to think about a social media announcement, and I don’t see any out there I really like doing just a google/Pinterest search, but I know there must be some creative ideas out there. Any have any ideas on announcing? I looked for a specific thread but I don’t see one and I can’t believe I’m the first one to think about it. Have I just missed it, or should I go ahead and start one?
@kayjay44 and @danixbanani24 add me to the WFH Friday bc I feel like crap party. We got home from vacation Saturday (which with a kid is NOT vacation). DH went out of town for work Sunday til Thurs, and oh we're selling our condo. So, I am trying to not feel like crap/be sick. While taking care of a suddenly overly clingy 11mo and keeping the house in 'show' order. Also, DD bday party is the 5th so this weekend is running around finishing everything. I need a nap. For like a week.
TW: 1 infant loss 8/17: Our daughter was born 8/18: Our daughter kicked open heart surgery ass 2/19: We lost our son to Prader-Willi/Paradoxical Vocal Cord/ Noonans at 6wks old 4/26/2020: EDD for baby #3!!!
Bought new underwear a size bigger than normal... and like full on granny cut style.. wtf! What have i been doing all these years, these babies are so comfy i may never go back!!
Oh hell yeah @cass06_07. I bought some cheap cotton granny panties for postpartum recovery after DS was born (because I thought I wouldn’t mind throwing them away when they stained). I still wear the non-stained ones. They’re so comfy. My husband makes fun of me relentlessly, but I would love him to walk around with his underwear up his butt on purpose.
@BourbonBiscuits lol.. i got made fun of today by h also but i dont care! These babies go right up over my bellybutton... i think i just bought myself an extra 3 weeks of not showing when i pop bc of these suckers and theyre not tight at all!
@catwoman8731. Go for it! I haven’t seen one. I got a shirt that says “Trading in margaritas for tacos for two” and I’m gonna have DH take a pic of me in it whilst shoving a taco in my mouth on “taco Tuesday” lol
So I apparently I can't read and used last week's random to share this. So I'll just share it here too.
For those who like podcasts and also birth stories. I found a great podcast called The Birth hour. Basically it's just a ton of different woman coming on and sharing their birth stories. It's still early but I enjoy birth stories when I'm not pregnant so I am greatly enjoying it now.
@Venessa88 I am obsessed with the Birth Hour. I’ve been been binging it for weeks. I love how she does all kinds of birth stories, not just natural ones
@jessier19 Yes! It's great that there is such a variety of different birth stories. It's great for someone who wants to compare hospital vs birth centers vs home birth. I just like listening to the variety of stories and love that they are all so different and that it's not focused on any specific type of birth.
One of my male cats has taken to being my nightly sleep buddy. Comes to bed with me no matter of its 630pm or 10pm, Nestles right up in my back and stays all night . My dh better watch out .. he might start getting jealous.
@kayjay44 I wonder if she downloaded a "my pregnancy" app and is getting push notifications about your pregnancy...
Mine has this exact app. She regularly gives updates and wants test results. Maybe I’ve watched too much Handmaids Tale but it makes me feel more like an incubator than a person.

Yes this. This is exactly why it’s bothersome. She also feels like she gets input on things - not your baby, lady, get your own.

I miss having a kitty. My longtime fur baby passed last year at a very ripe old age. I long for a kitty snuggle!
@kayjay44 Same. Luckily my office just got the AC fixed this week, and I live in a cool basement apartment, so I’ll stay inside as much as possible. I usually love summer and hot weather, but I’m not feeling it this year for obvious reasons.
DS born 2/18/2019 DD born 4/1/2023 Baby #3 EDD 11/21/2024
We’ve already been in it since Sunday @kayjay44. My poor H works in a metal warehouse type building and is hating everything and everyone this week. Glad I’m hanging out in the AC.
@grebretso and @madreofdragons - We have AC at work, on the train I take to work and in our bedroom. I have about 10-15 minute walk to and from work to the train though that's brutal in the heat and my car is hot as Hades when I get to it in the afternoon. This is why I have never planned to be pregnant during the summer.
We’re having unusually cool weather this week! Come to Kentucky, it’s only 85 here. Of course it still makes me dizzy as fuck to be outside for more than 30 minutes, but could be worse.
@kayjay44 I’m in a similar situation as you, I take the bus which has AC. On my way home I have to walk up a steep hill for a mile though. Usually that’s not an issue, but ugh. I hate, hate, hate it these days.

Okay, my already sick kid is officially having a crap day. Tried to get a kiss from our old grump of a dog, pissed dog jumped off couch, bumped kid, kid tooth split lip. Pissed kid.
