@foxbaby2016 i have no end with hunger and cravings. But then there’s the constipation. My hips are burning of pain, Tylenol does nothing. This baby is leaning on the same spot making it feel bruised.
  • I also feel hungry all the time but then get anxious about how hungry I am because DH basically starves himself every day and I can’t afford to gain too much weight this time.

restless legs at night. Pubic bone pain. Braxton Hicks. OH THE HEARTBURN. It’s a lovely time.
  • zg49zg49 member
Finally getting a handle on this constipation so that's a plus! Otherwise heartburn, also super full if I eat or drink too much. Braxton hicks, vaginal pain, gas, anxiety, restless legs. Fun times yall. Can't wait for the scorching July heat!  :|

  • @zg49 please don’t remind me that July is hot. I’m trying to be ignorant to that and think I’ll be in a comfortable climate the whole time.

Ok this pain in my upper left abdomen is horrible. I can’t make out if it’s baby but it’s been there since like 4am. I hurts to touch (w/slight pressure) most of the time. It’s a few inches below my rib. Anyone else have this? DS1 was always low and i rarely experienced rib pain.
  • @wildtot I get that pain when I lay on my right side at night or in certain positions while sitting. I had it with my first pregnancy too. It’s so bad, like a sharp but also burning pain when it’s being irritated, but I still feel it a little even when it’s not bothering me. Wish I had some advice! I just sleep on my left now or propping my belly up on a pillow helps a little but that bothers my back.
  • @wildtot yes me too! Happens when I'm sitting for a while..happened driving home from work yesterday, and other times. Once I stand up and move around it goes away.

+1 for restless legs. It happens as soon as I lay in bed. can't get comfortable to fall asleep. I hate sleeping now which I used to love so much. Also hip pain.

Constipation has eased itself up for now.

I have this weird hard sore lump on my outer labia. I can't tell if it's an ingrown hair ( I shaved blindly down there about 2 weeks ago) or what. I can't see there without a mirror, but I can tell there's no open sore or anything. Just a hard swollen bump. It popped up the day after riding a stationary bike. It's really irritated by the end of the day by walking around and such. I hope it goes away soon. Another thing that kept me from getting comfortable last night.

  • wildtot same except mine is on my right hand side.  Sitting at work all day and then sitting while driving home makes it miserable.  I found that coming home after work and taking a bath/applying heat helps.

    ugh the gas  :/

went to the OB today because I thought I had a bruise on my side- she goes, "oh hunny, that's a stretch mark"  :o I thought stretch marks were lines?! Not bruises!
  • @wildtot I have started getting that pain below my ribs on both side simultaneously. I was excited thinking baby had flipped but then I was like...if its both sides at the same time maybe he's just reaching higher now, lol, and is still transverse.

Other than that, +1 to eating the smallest amount making me miserably full. I had a sausage and egg mcmuffin today and a bowl of cereal and I am like, kill me now i am so full. Also I am SO SO tired. Like first trimester tired. I have fallen asleep on the couch 2 out of the last three nights before my son's bedtime, and its hard for me to get out of bed to have my me time in the morning. OH and I have a varicose vein on my inner thigh that totally freaks me out, but in a "whoa, that's cool!" way. I only think its cool not gross because its barely visible and I hear they go away after pregnancy, plus this time its not on my VAGINA.

@wildtot I had a head in my ribs for a while my last pregnancy....it was super painful. I was always leaning to the opposite side and pushing on his head trying to get him to move but it was too crowded in there with two lol. I hope it goes away soon!

@rachelsogo maybe a cyst? I’ve gotten them before and they’re really painful and annoying. Mine have usually cleared on their own but I know soaking in an Epsom salt bath (or sitz bath) can help!

Thanks ladies, it’s so uncomfortable but glad it’s more of a normal thing.
@rachelsogo could be a swollen lymph node. I had one years ago down there and it was just my body reacting to being super sick. Went away on its own too.
  • @SmashJam my babe is a trickster. I swear he was head down but he just flips again every day. I have a large ribcage and he is in the 50th percentile so I think he still has a lot of room. It's fun to feel him in different spots every day but I tell him every morning it's time to get ready head down:)

Constipation hasn't hit me for more than 2 days in a row but it sucks when it does. My eating has been pretty poor so I bought a lot of fresh greens for this week out of town.

Interrupted sleep for me for sure. Hunger has subsided a bit but as many said it sucks when you're starving yet feeling sull so quickly.

  • My feet are swollen and feel like pins are pricking them. I've never had any swelling to speak of in past pregnancies so this is a new thing for me. Woohoo.

Add me to the so tired club.  I feel like I could sleep anytime, anywhere.  Also super hungry.  But I think baby has lots of room to spread out because I don't have the uncomfortably full feeling. I am like a bottomless pit...which is not cool.  lol. Trying to keep the weight gain under control.  So far so good, but the last 9 weeks are gonna be killer! Thankful it's finally grilling season-lots of veggies and meat!

  • I now poop soon after having a bigger meal, I think I'm just out of room in there so things have to keep moving along lol. Also, this is weird but my joints feel so loose. I noticed that when I'm running around/jumping around with DD I have to be more careful so I don't land awkwardly and pull something.

  • @runsomewhere I've noticed my joints feel loose too lately. It's weird and I don't like it! Feels like I'm fragile or something, and I've never been the delicate type before!
  • @noideawhatshesdoing Yes! It does feel super weird. I'm used to being pretty smooth and capable physically so while I get what's happening from a biological stand point it feels bizarre.

  • I get super hungry quickly, but then I get full easily. And I don't even think I'm eating that much. Definitely not any more than I have before pregnancy. Having trouble falling asleep. Also, the heartburn.

I also now sometimes grunt when I sit down or get up, but I don't think I do that in front of other people; just when I'm alone or with DH. It must be soooo attractive.
  • @stlmegs I'm also back to being a bottomless pit. Sucks. Just make good choices where you can! We're almost through, and I'm sure at some point we'll feel full! :D FWIW I got lectured last week about the weight I've gained too date. DH was at the appointment with me and stuck up for me. He told them that while I might currently be eating quantity like a sumo wrestler, it's mostly plant based with some greek yogurt and lean proteins thrown in for balance, and he told them about my workout schedule/routine. So, they backed off the lecture and decided I'm just not going to fit into their little box of "normal". If he wasn't there I would have cried because I think I have one of those bodies that just wants to hang onto everything when I'm pregnant.

@noideawhatshesdoing don't feel bad about weight gain.  When I was pregnant with my son I gained 50 lbs.  FIFTY!  This time I up about 15 so far, but I swear I am eating the same way, if not worse this time (craving sweets way more hard core with this little lady). I really think your body is going to gain however much you need.  It sounds like you are making good choices, that's the most important thing.

  • @noideawhatshesdoing I’ve also been a bit worried about my weight ever since a midwife asked if I was eating everything in sight (not funny)! But I eat mainly healthy and still am active and workout so I don’t know what else I can do. The last appt I had my midwife said it was fine and to just try and gain as many weeks as you are. So I’m trying to not be hard on myself!

Also the leg cramps/ Charley horses in my calves have been the worst! I used to get them occasionally before being pregnant and thought I was in the clear since I hadn’t really had any up until last week. They wake me up at night and last so long. I always scare my husband bc I start screaming. Lol. Trying to up my potassium and magnesium intake. I already drink a ton of water so fingers crossed they don’t happen as often.

It feels like baby has been kicking me right in the cervix today! It does not help with the SPD. I have two chiro appointments this week but it doesn’t really feel like the treatments are working.  so she sent me a list stretches and exercises to do at home, but my pelvis feels very sore afterwards. I’m about to give up and just accept my fate of sitting on the couch for the next 10 weeks.

  • @supersara2 I pretty much grunt every time Isit, stand, lay down, roll over, lift anything, after eating...

  • For those ladies with loose joints: At my birthing class last night, the teacher was talking about how we should start feeling more loose because there's some chemical released in our bodies to help loosen us up for labor and that's part of why pregnant ladies waddle!  I thought that was an interesting little bit.

I'm starting to get pins and needles in my legs if I sit for too long, so I'm walking around like a maniac!
  • Still all the same I’ve had, SPD, restless legs, heartburn. I have a cold also currently.

This baby though- I have no clue which position she has herself in now. She had been head down right up against my cervix for the longest time. Yeah not anymore.
  • wildtotwildtot member
I feel like this baby is facing frontwards because i can feel every movement and it hurts. These cervix punches are no joke. At night i just can’t win. Hip and back pain laying down or cervix punches and neck pain reclining.
  • coco305coco305 member
I sleep with like 6 pillows and every time I switch positions it's like a jigsaw puzzle of pillows, this one goes here now, that one over there, you get moved over....etc. Oh I also moved myself to the super comfy form bed in the guest room :D no more having to share with DH and the dog on a soft mattress lol I love them both, just not at night,
  • coco305coco305 member
Also I'm 29+3 and I dong think I've noticed hiccups from the bebe. Everyone seems to experience them, wonder when I will.
  • sm05-2sm05-2 member
I’m 30 + 3 and last week’s u/s showed baby is head down and likes to bring hands up to her face, which explains the funny “gliding” sensations I’ve been feeling down there.  Agree with everyone about the pelvic pain, ouch.

I started on iron pills last week due to anemia, and they’ve been really helping me (as has Colace, lol). My restless legs have calmed a bit and while I still have some fatigue, I have more energy overall (no more shutting my office door and sneaking in a nap or two every day!).
  • emsnedemsned member
@SmashJam I don’t think the pelvic soreness would be anything to worry a lot about if you only get it when exercising the area. Because of my SPD, my pelvic area is pretty much sore 24/7, especially when I stretch and exercise, but your sore pelvis may just be from the exercising itself. That being said, I wouldn’t know whether it’s okay to continue those same exercises or not when you don’t have SPD. Sorry I’m not very helpful lol!
  • Definitely having the restless leg issues at night. heartburn is getting a little crazy as well.

Anyone else getting the occasional cramping? I have to take Tylenol for some relief but they see more frequent this week. I occasionally get them with back pain and some contractions. I’m hoping to hold up any more L&D visits and make it to my Monday appointment.
    edit words
  • @wildtot not really cramping, but I've had a couple spasms yesterday and today, I think it's the stretching of everything that is causing it for me. And it's been painful when the baby moves around more. I finally put on the belt I wear to work out in and it seems to help some.
  • sm05-2sm05-2 member
@wildtot today I noticed way more Braxton Hicks contractions and a little cramping. The weather did warm up here quite a bit--could warm weather be contributing?
  • wildtotwildtot member
@sm05-2 warm weather actually helps with my cramping in general so i don’t think that’s the case for me. They feel like period cramps too with the back pain. I put on my belly support today for a bit but the baby kicks it and it hurts lol (there’s no winning!) i have my first chiro appointment on Friday so hopefully that will help. I might ask the doc to check my cervix on Monday to make sure nothing is happening with all this activity.
  • @wildtot I have the same issue with my support belt!
    April Siggy Challenge Social Distancing

  • @wildtot I have been getting some cramping on and off as well. It feels like period cramps for me as well. I have no idea what it is though....maybe the uterus stretching?
  • SmashJam  +1 for varicose vein/spider veins except mine were there before pregnancy and now are just getting bigger and worse and they look horrific.  I hope they go away or at least are less pronounced after pregnancy.

supersara2 haha I do the grunt too! Especially when sitting and getting up from the bathroom.  DH always says “wow, attractive babe”

Because of the constipation I’m back to drinking coffee which I really didn’t want to do but it’s the only thing that makes me go.  Oh well, this kid will just be hooked on caffeine like her mama.
