I keep trying to eat carbs, and I'm consistently disappointed. Bread? Rice? Pasta? All disgusting. I don't even know how to eat without them.
If I could just eat nothing but fruit and maybe the occasional enchilada this pregnancy, I think I'd be in good shape. Who needs a full complement of real nutrients anyway?
Grapppppess!! All the grapes! And all the other fruits too. Not really feeling the sweets or dying for carbs, which is interesting and antithetical to my normal life.
I will be eating frozen pizza for dinner. Everything I think about eating sounds disgusting (even fresh pizza) except frozen pizza. If my husband didn't think I was weird yet, this ought to do it. Who craves frozen food instead of the fresh version?
I have a date with my almost 4 yo for dinner (my husband is working late). Bad idea to drive across town for Really Good Nachos which is the only thing I want to eat?
@PensiveCrayon That looks delicious! I definitely love those hodge podge everything meals. Mine is kind of that way today. Salad with oil and balsamic vinegar, sausage and two corn tortillas with cheese. But I really don't want the sausage except I need some protein to get me through to dinner.
@abowls Nothing wrong with that! I prefer frozen mac and cheese to any other kind! And I'm a huge pizza fanatic. Sometimes, I'm really just in the mood for frozen pizza!

Wanted to mention this in case it helps someone out. For some reason a combo of seltzer water (I use pomegranate polar water) with a little bit of pomegranate juice really helps my evening nausea. By the time my kid is in bed I’m usually starting to feel pretty crappy from a combination of dinner and being exhausted, and this drink really helps settle my stomach. If you’re desperate for a fix it’s worth a shot.
Everything and then nothing. I wanted ramen so bad all week... I found a fancy ramen recipe, made it yesterday and it looked and smelled amazing. As soon as I sat down to eat it I started dry heaving and couldn't take more than a bite. I was so sad.
The toddler and I had whipped cream out of a can for lunch today. Survival mode.
Currently debating on whether or not I should order up some Mexican so I can actually eat something today, but it's 9:00 and who even knows whether I'll want it when it gets here. Life is hard, guys.
We had muffins with mom at my school this morning and I definitely downed 2 double chocolate chip muffins. They were delicious, but I definitely regretted it after.
I haven't had any strong cravings, but serious food adversions. I can't even smell Mexican food without feeling sick. Always hungry.. like I'll eat a full meal and 15 minutes later I'll be insanely hungry.
@kadeephd omg stuffed grape leaves! I haven't had those in so long, and that sounds so good!
@clbness yummmm hummus! Ive actually never eaten that with cucumbers, which I really is crazy! That sounds amazing together!
I think I know what I'm eating dinner tonight...Greek it is!
Also, tomorrow night, we are going to a "seafood extravaganza" fundraiser at a local university, and it's going to be all you can eat seafood, so crawfish (I live in South louisiana), crabs, shrimp, etc. Normally I would be breaking out the fat pants, but with all this dumb nausea, I'm hoping I won't be running for the bathroom
@clbness@texas_t Yup. I wanted to vomit. There are two people in my office that habitually bring in foods that should be on the "foods not okay to bring to the office list". There are days I am not going to be able to eat with my coworkers because of the smells, I could barely handle them when I wasn't pregnant!

@AdorkablePixie I'm eating oatmeal this morning (with walnuts and a tiny bit of honey) and just read your comment about sardines and gagged. Definitely feeling like I can only eat bland things this morning.
Stopped by a store on the way in and found Zevia Ginger Ale - yay! I'm okay with stevia as a non-sugar alternative, but not really any of the others. I'm definitely needing Ginger Ale today, so was happy to find it.
I ate some frozen waffles for breakfast that are my DD's and I realized once I got to work I was still starving. I ordered myself some Subway and plan to go get it on my break here in about 30 mins. I'm so excited!!! I love their Sweet onion chicken teriyaki.
I just bought tiramisu because I *had* to have it. Already it doesn’t sound so delicious. Maybe it will sound better later? Meh. This is why I shouldn't impulse food shop.
I was given 2 gifts of chocolate (nurses week). So I promptly started eating them. I’m currently vomiting all of it. C’mon body...rejecting chocolate??
This. I've been making these Crispy Chickpea Tacos literally once every week since I got the recipe in a HelloFresh box. I don't think I will ever get tired of it. Soooo nom.

@Activebaby Oh no, I'm sorry for the throwing up! I turned down chocolate yesterday for the first time in my life because the thought of it made me sick and it felt like such a betrayal!
As for me, eating wise, I continue to only be able to eat chile relleno for lunch, and lately I've been eating all kinds of celery and carrots with ranch dressing. (I literally only like ranch dressing when pregnant, it's the weirdest thing.)

I had Mediterranean appetizers today. Hummus and pita, grilled eggplant and stuffed grape leaves with tzatki. My burps taste awesome.

@PensiveCrayon That looks like an AMAZING lunch.
@clbness MMMM Hummus! I love hummus. I've got some in my fridge. That with pretzels is one of my favorite snacks.
