Rice crispies with milk, but I threw that up this morning. I had a McDonald’s McDouble for lunch - I’ve kept that down so far. But now the idea sounds gross!
I signed up for a free trial of Weight Watchers, not because I really need to lose weight but because I need some accountability. Tracked the breakfast (Panera bagel with cream cheese on one half and butter, as well as one of those Oui yogurts and coffee with molasses and milk) and tea crackers I'd eaten already and found that I'd used up my ENTIRE DAY'S WORTH OF POINTS. So. Yeah.
Thankfully I'm not experiencing any serious aversions. Grocery shopping yesterday was bad though. I wanted to buy all the crap. Ended up just impulse-buying a box of Romano Honey Triscuits and some bacon egg and cheese Hot Pockets. And some Babybel cheese, now that I think about it.

I haven’t had the nausea yet, but I don’t have much of an appetite either. Just not interested in eating, even when my stomach growls. (Which is so unlike me. Food is usually my favorite). I’m extremely thirsty instead. Could partly be because it’s actually spring here now & it’s sunny and warm. I accidentally ate a chunk of white chocolate in a chocolate cookie (I thought it was macadamia nut), and it was the most delicious part of the cookie. Not pregnant me hates white chocolate, so that’s new.

Well, first, I tried sardines for the first time yesterday in a salad because my nutritionist said it's one of those super foods to help with baby's development. Wasn't "yummy" but it wasn't bad. Now the idea seems gross today! Haha.
I was going to be good and ordered a taco salad for lunch... they gave me tacos with rice and beans on the side. I was about to complain and then I looked at the tacos and decided that it looked delicious. Definitely love me some tacos.
@texas_t I understand completely. I can only manage it now because I haven't yet had even a hint of nausea. As soon as it hits, we'll see if even my desire to be "healthy" goes out the window. I'm foreseeing Mexican food every night.
@texas_t Carbs and sugar are what I subsist on when I'm in my IDGAF mode of eating so. Yeah. I think this will help me not gain 50 pounds this pregnancy. And if I do in spite of my healthier habits, then fine! It's what my body does when it's pregnant.

@clbness Ha! I'm not sure I could eat sardines without hiding them in a bunch of other stuff. (I hid them within a fancy salad with lots of yummies.) Also, you mention apple and peanut butter. I literally just finished an apple and have a spoon with peanut butter in my mouth right now.
@texas_t I actually LOL’ed at that. Or GIL’ed because it was more of a giggle. And also it reminded me of the time I gave my son a flamin’ hot Cheeto when he was 7 months old. He acted very betrayed. #moty

Nothing sounds good. I basically eat to sustain but if I don’t eat I feel sick. Its a game to find something that doesn’t make me feel like throwing up. I ate tacos for supper and immediately was turned off by them as soon as I finished eating. At least I managed a few.
I did have the BEST green apple of my life the other day though.
This apple conversation is making me want apples! I have been having peanut butter toast every morning because it's the only thing that sounds edible. Also oranges.... lots and lots of oranges. And juice. Of all kinds. Really in a fruit mood constantly but also so hungry that i need to eat way more than just fruit.

but seriously. Even after I eat the stuff I like, my tummy is upset. If I don’t eat, my tummy is upset. I’m counting the days until the first tri is over so I don’t feel like I’m getting over a stomach bug all day every day.
@dufft It actually doesn't, probably for liability reasons. I'm trying to decide if I should put my points as exclusively or non-exclusively nursing. Because I am non-exclusively nursing my son, but also pregnant. I'll tinker around for a bit and see what works better.

I had an orange at home (last one, at the other yesterday). I was looking forward to splitting it at dinner with the boys. It was moldy!!! Yesterday it was fine. It’s so not fair! It had to go in the trash.
I have been wanting pho for two days straight! I will be picking some up on the way home
I have also been craving oatmeal. I discovered a Quaker Oats brand of Overnight Oats that you just add milk before going to bed, wake up and it's ready. Delicious.
Grocery shopping was, again, a mild budgetary catastrophe. Splurge purchases included breakfast Hot Pockets (again -- I didn't even love them the first time but there were no savory Toaster Strudel brand), breakfast Eggo sandwiches, and KETTLE CORN OREOS.

@katy0990 It's a new flavor that I guess is part of a contest like the Lays ones where consumers create flavors. The other two are piña colada and cherry cola, which, ick. The Kettle Corn ones are pretty good though!

I just had my first In N Out of this pregnancy (finally feeling well enough for it and was STARVING after my lunchtime doctor's appointment) and it was aaaaaaaamazing. I hope I start feeling well enough to have it once every couple of weeks! In N Out was my go to treat when pregnant with my DD.
Saturday night I dreamed about orange sherbet. Not like I was eating it for a minute in my dream, like I dreamed about eating it for hours. So I bought some. I ate a bowl. It was good but now the thought of eating more of it turns my stomach.
I pretty much want nothing but I'm hungry all the time. After I eat I feel crappy. This is crazy.
