@PensiveCrayon@maureenmce I was a librarian for four years. Much to authors & books. I half-heartedly tried to write a novel, but I don't think I have it in me!
Hi! New here. Got my BFP this past Tuesday. EDD is December 2nd. I've had blood work done twice this past week and my levels more then double so looking good so far! I have a 7 year old son and have had two losses. Hoping for a healthy rainbow baby at the end of the year! Really excited to be apart of this group. ☺
Today I got my second BFP!!! I am so excited, but very nervous. I had a miscarriage last fall at 10 weeks, but I am hopeful with this one. I believe my EDD is Dec 4th Cheers to the Dec ladies!!! I am excited to keep in touch and hear about everyone's journey!!!
@maureenmce I write short stories but honestly it's been awhile since I've had the energy or time to focus on anything new! I actually wrote one last summer that I'm planning to turn into a novel, which I've completely written in my head! Just haven't had time to work on it lol. And a new baby won't be much help there haha
First time mom! We’ve been trying for just three months and I honestly didn’t expect it to happen this soon. Still v nervous. Calculator says due 12/7, so could land right on DH’s birthday. Sad to miss Christmas with my family but so excited to welcome this little one! DH is finishing up grad school so not sure where we’ll be living in December—not looking forward to that added stress! Just bought a ton of fresh fruits and veggies. Isn’t it funny how the moment you find out a switch flipped and suddenly you become responsible? Lol. At least that’s what happened for me! Fun Fact About Me: I used to design museum exhibits!
Hello everyone! Got two screaming positives on March 26 and March 30, second cycle after getting IUD removed at the beginning of February. The calculator sets an EDD of December 4. This is my first pregnancy ever and I am VERY excited and VERY nervous! Anxiously awaiting May so I can breathe a little easier!
Hi everyone! Feeling blessed after my BFP a little over a week ago. The news came on my husband’s birthday. (Perfect b/c I had no gift!) This will be our 1st! I’m still in a state of shock/bliss. After what seemed like forever we married in July. After experiencing some irregular periods my gyn sent me to fertility clinic where my biggiest fear came true. I was told it was very unlikely we would be able to conceive naturally or possibly at all. After extensive testing and heartache, we were finally on the schedule to start IVF next cycle. We had one last chance and it was a success! My stomach is in knots this morning waiting for the snow to clear up. Heading to the lab this morning. Praying for good results!!! Oh and I’m a 34 yo RN from Central PA and this is my first pregnancy!!! EDD December 1st.
@ccccaaatt I'm in the same boat! DH will finish grad school and we're moving sometime this summer. And he hasn't started applying for jobs yet so it's up in the air as far as where we are going - just a little added stress!! Hope your move goes smoothly for you!
@amfasse Ugh! And I am such a planner—this is killing me. My sister in law moved into a new house in a new state in January, just two weeks before her little one was due. She is giving me all the pointers! I’ll be sure to share. Keep me updated on how things go on your end.
I received a BFP about a week ago and EDD is 12/1. We have a 15 month old son and I was active in D16. I work for a fertilizer & chemical company and my husband is a ring man in the auction business. We live in small town Nebraska. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
@temmetime hi! We have the same EDD it’ll be nice going through the motions with someone else! I’ll be a FTM so we are incredibly excited and nervois at the same time
Hello! I received a BFP today after having a couple familiar pregnancy symptoms. This would be my 3rd baby! And a total surprise. I'm currently a full time student too. My due date is December 13th!
@ccccaaatt SAME!! Planner may as well be my middle name lol. So yea, going crazy with all the unknowns! We moved here for grad school, 13 hrs away from where we were living. It is rough moving to a new state, and I had 6 months to plan that move! I hope it goes well for both of us this round!!
Hi! December 3rd here too! I’m 38, and our daughter will be 3 in June. Got an early bfp at 3 weeks then thought I was out when I bled a few days later. Bleeding didn’t last that long and I continued having positive tests so that I’ve finally stopped testing and feel like this is going to stick!
Hi All! I just got my BFP this morning! I am excited to be joining you. I have an EDD of 12/13. This will be my third kiddo. I have an (almost) 6 year old daughter, and a 3 year old son. My husband and I decided we wanted one more to complete our family. Hoping for a h&h 9 months!
*lurking* How did I miss this?? @kristah2 Congratulations, so happy for you!!!!!!
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

My husband and I have been trying for a little over 9 months and last Tuesday we got our BFP (I had to google what this meant along with several other acronyms on here but getting the hang of it lol). It doesn’t quite feel real yet, even with the symptoms, but we are over the moon at the idea of having our first little one! According to the estimations, I think we are due December 7th. However, I have a shorter cycle so that may change the date a bit. Hopefully we will find out more when we go in for our first appointment on the 13th. Im so excited there is a forum like this for ladies growing a little human at the same time!
Hello! Just got a bfp yesterday. This will be our 4th - have an 8 yo, 6 yo, and 14 mo. I think the due date will be Dec 8. My middle daughter’s birthday is Dec 7 so that will be interesting!
Hello ladies! Due date Dec. 6... I think. Still waiting for my confirmation appointment which will be at 6 weeks... Even though I got my BFP a week ago... Ha... The wait is killing me. Already have a 23 month old son and this is our rainbow! Praying for a healthy baby but a girl sure would be nice.
Hi ladies. Got my BFP Sunday morning at 9DPO (I'm kind of amused at getting a positive on April Fool's Day). I'm introducing myself very cautiously as *TW* I've had 3 losses since we started TFAS back in October. A MMC at 9 weeks in December, and two back to back CPs in February and March. I'm slightly optimistic as the lines started out darker than they ever got with my CPs. End TW* If this works out my due date will be 12/14. I have one son who will be 5 in July and right now I'm finishing up my fieldwork for my Associates degree in Occupational Therapy. I'm really hoping this will finally be my rainbow and that I get to stay here and get to know you ladies!

Hello! I'm pregnant with what will hopefully be my third. Had a loss in 2012, a daughter in 2013 and a son in 2015. I got a positive a week ago but honestly have no idea when I'm due or how far along I am because I have super wacky cycles. We aren't doing a dating u/s until the end of the month so at this point I'm just assuming vaguely sometime in December? Maybe late November? Who knows, lol. I was super active in the June 2013 board but didn't really come in for my son at all, but hoping to participate this time around
Hi all! I just got my first bfp at 11 dpo this morning. We’ve only been trying for about 3 months, so I’m a little shocked as my daughter took a year and 3 months to conceive. She is only just over a year old so I’m a little nervous! This was the plan, but making it a reality is a little scary. Crossing my fingers for a sticky baby in there!! I’ll be trying to catch up on what’s going on here. Have been in ttgp but haven’t lurked here at all!
