Hi Ladies! Took a test yesterday morning and got a BFN but took one again in the afternoon and got my BFP with an FRER digi. EDD is Dec 9, four days after my birthday and my husbands, were so excited. We have a 10 month old son. I really didn't know that much about the community my first time around but I wish I did, I could've used all the support! Im glad to meet you all
My EDD is the 9th and 3 days before my birthday!
My EDD is the 7th and my birthday is the 9th!! I'm secretly hoping to have the baby on my birthday, which is also my grandmother's birthday! LOTS of December babies in my family!!
Hi Everyone! It took me quite a while to figure out how to sign in again. I got my bfp this morning, so I think my edd will be 12/6 or 12/7. I have 2 little boys. I was active with my 2014 Mom group and there are many of us who talk daily still - they mean so much to me. Anyway, I am 35 and am very excited, scared to be posting this early, and overwhelmed.
Unrelated: Does anyone know if there is a way to change my username? When I made my account I somehow ended up with this one because the one I picked was not available. I tried to pick a new one, but they said I already had an account with this name
Hey! If you’re using the app, go to the home page and at the top there should be a little person icon for your account info. You should be able to change it there.
Hello ladies! Newbie here. New to the site. New to pregnancy. I’m 32 and currently living far away from friends & family so I’m looking forward to feeling part of a community and seeing what other women are experiencing. If all goes well this will be my first and if I did the math right I’ll be due around Dec 2nd. The husband and I are ecstatic and looking forward to our first prenatal appointment at 6 weeks. I’m excited to get to know you all
Hey yall. New to this but im 5-6 weeks pregnant! And should be due around Nov 15th if im right.. Ill be 21 before then. Wondering how young do you think is too young..? I have a career, car, college all that so i do believe im more mature for my age than expected.
Okkayy here we go! I'm @kristah2. I was previously active on TTGP until hitting the bench last month but I guess things can happen when you least expect them because my EDD is Dec 2. I have a DS and 2 dogs. I am excited and nervous to add to the chaos!
Hi everyone! I’m so excited to be joining you all! Based on LMP I have a due date of December 6, however I am type 1 diabetic so I will not go full term, so I will probably have a November baby. I will probably hover between both boards.
I have a 13 month old DS so this will be baby #2. I participated on March 2017 board briefly but found it difficult to stay on due to my work schedule. I’m hoping to be more active this time around but it may just be a nights and weekends thing depending how busy work it. And unfortunately I have to mobile bump most of the time, which sucks
I’m excited to get to know everyone!

Got my bfp the 23rd, so that puts me due on December 2nd! I have a 2 1/2 year old son and every time I think of him as a big brother, I well up with tears! We've been trying for a few months, so I was thrilled to get a positive test. I'm 34, but will be 35 by the time baby is born, so put me in the AMA club
Sticky baby dust and I look forward to getting to know y'all!
Very nervous to intro given my history of loss by trying to be optimistic. This will be child #3 for me, I have 2 sons already, 8 and 2.5 years old. My youngest is my Rainbow after 3 losses. My EDD is Dec 7th, less than a week after my own birthday.

Your youngest son's birthday is a day after my sons
@mara005 Congratulations! We're due date twins! And I know the feeling of being nervous and struggling to be optimistic after multiple losses - you should join our PGAL (pregnant after a loss) check in, if you haven't already! Tons of support there and people who know how you feel.
Hey I'm 30 and in my 5th pregnancy. First 2 ended in miscarriage 3rd and 4th gave me my 2 daughters they will be 4 and 2 in May. This kiddo will be our last really hoping for a boy this time! I am so frigin ecstatic! EDD Dec 3rd. Our anniversary is Dec 1st so I told my husband I got him an early anniversary present.
Hi @Knottie1446084242 and congrats!!! Just FYI it's hard for people to tag you with a knottie name with all those numbers after - you may want to change your screen name to something easier? Also, unfortunately it's against the Bump rules to post pics of pregnancy tests, so you may want to delete those before they give you a warning! Congrats again!
Hi everyone! Got my BFP on 3/23 and I am so excited! Looks like my EDD is 12/2. First OBGYN appointment is on 4/19 - just trying to be patient for the next few weeks and keep my fingers crossed for a sticky baby! This is my first pregnancy, and we got pregnant our first month of trying - I think had some karma coming my way because I had literally just said to a friend, "who gets pregnant their first month of trying, anyway?"
@binxybaby Yeah, I had been using the Clue app to track my cycles and it gave me a pretty good idea of when my “fertile window” was going to be...but I was not expecting it to happen so quickly!
Hello, everyone! My husband and I just got pregnant via a 6 day blast FET and our projected due date is December 1st! I will be a first time mom, so I am happy to be in here with all of you
Waaaaa! I go here now! I’m 9dpo and just got a couple positives this afternoon, so I guess I’m officially KTFU!
I have a 14-month-old son and live in lower AL. Husband is a helicopter pilot for the Air Force. I got my MFA in writing and have been trying to finish a novel since but I’ve been dragging my feet, and also, the baby eats up alllll my time.
Looking forward to getting to know you all better!

@PensiveCrayon So cool you're a writer! I am like 80,000 words into a novel that I sort of abandoned a couple of years ago when I switched to screenplays (they are so much quicker to write and I'm hoping to sell one or two.) I am dying to return to my novel (eventually - I hear you on the babies taking up all of your time thing) and I keep thinking about getting my MFA in creative writing somewhere when the kid(s) are a bit older! Where did you get your MFA? Did you enjoy the process?
@maureenmce OMG YAS ASK ME ALL THE QUESTIONS. I did a low-residency program at Vermont College of Fine Arts, specifically, the Writing for Children and Young Adults MFA program. They also have a traditional writer's program that includes nonfiction and poetry. But we make fun of those people. VCFA was such a freaking wonderful experience. I can't say enough good things about it. The low-residency means I went to campus for "residency" five times, for 10 days every July and January. The residencies were filled with an intense schedule of faculty lectures, graduate lectures, and workshops. Then at the end of the residency you receive an advisor who you send packets of work to every month and receive feedback from. So it's a perfect program for people with families and full-time jobs who can't do full-time school and also work.

People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

@PensiveCrayon@maureenmce OMG I love that there are writers in here!! I have been writing since I was 9 and got my BA at U of Iowa just so I could take their fiction writing courses. I was running a local writers workshop but it fell apart due to too many hectic schedules someday I might get around to finishing my novel but probably not until the kids move out lol
Hi, everyone! Cautiously excited to be joining you all here. Got my BFP last Saturday. EDD is December 5th. Betas on Monday and Wednesday, numbers are rising like they should, so that's encouraging. **TW** We had an early loss in 2013, so I will be a nervous wreck these first several weeks. Just hoping for the best and taking it day by day, week by week. **End TW*** We have one son who is 4 years old. Excited to get to know everyone!
@PensiveCrayon Oh wow, the low residency thing sounds ideal! I've only casually looked into programs so far, since I won't be applying until after baby 2 is in preschool, most likely, but I will have to check those types of programs out and see if I can't make it work earlier. (I do work full time in another industry so...we'll see! But that's encouraging!)
@amfasse Awesome you got to take classes at Iowa! That must've been amazing. And yes, I hear you on finishing the novel when the kids move out, lol. Do you ever write anything short form in the meantime? I switched over to screenplays a while back (I live in LA, so why not) and it's been nice to finish something a *bit* shorter while the novel sits on a shelf.
Hey ladies! I’ve just got my positive last week and my EDD is on nov 30- dec 1! It’s going to be our first, and I’m super excited - and anxious! Glad to meet you all
Hey fellow Iowa student! Didn't graduate there (after three years, transferred to Arizona State) but suffice it to say it wasn't because I didn't love the school or Iowa City
