@Amphibious22 and @kfren - I prefer to call them "Norwegian blonde highlights" and rock em like they are proof of my magical abilities... silver hair is magical right?
As for hairs, in both pregnancies I have had a weekly Wednesday chin hair show up. Probably the weirdest part of my beauty routine...

Was this the thread where we were discussing Pluto's planetary status? I just took a long nap while DS watched the original Magic School bus (from the 90s) and in my lucid moments I heard them talking about how Pluto wasn't going to be the 9th planet again until 1999...lol.
@Amphibious22 +1 to all the other ladies who gave Pink Blush some love! I've been really happy with everything I've ordered from them this pregnancy, especially as a plus size mama. All TTS and they've held up well through washing and wearing the last 3-4 months.
Can someone please tell DH that Ghengis is not an acceptable name for this baby?! He's refusing to accept the power of my veto. He won't even consider any other names. At this rate I'm gonna have to put a decent name on the paperwork at the hospital and sneak it to the nurse before he notices. Gah.
@May14th2011 - Your DH just brought a full on out loud guffaw to my lips. I am still chuckling. This is isht my DH would pull on me. And sorry if this irks you, but that's hilarious to me. I needed that.
As for DH and names, he has previously suggested Willie, but given the last name of Nielsen, I tried to veto it. I got around it, as we got a puppy, and named him Willie. We get looks, but at least it is a dog. Funny thing is, he called me the other day and said "I had inspiration for baby Boy's Name. I love the name William. No one dislikes a Billy." I had to clarify for him that we already had one.
In my in labour stupor with DD, I suggested Bridget as a name I loved, and would be great, but something wasn't sitting right. DH quickly referenced Flava of Love and red Sonja and we vetoed.... Margaret won the day.
@aharv77 - as a plus sized mama I am glad to hear that. I have a wedding at 33 weeks... I guess I better get a shopping.

@may14th2011 that's so cute! I agree with @rnielsen321 that this is what my H would pull so sorry if my chuckle is out of place. Do you think he's being legit? My H suggested Thor and only started backing down when I agreed to it!
@doxiemoxie212 Sadly, I knew when you asked it she wouldn't. I genuinely want to know, too. Why would you put that info out there when you have no intention on being involved? Why volunteer semi-personal info to complete strangers just to do it?
I’m actually monitoring the spreadsheet in case she goes over and edits her post there to something entertaining as well.... but alas, I suspect she doesn’t know how to edit her posts.
As much as I enjoy the drive by post, the thing that really caught me is when @2589 said we've been getting to know each other for half a year already. It really put the timing of things into perspective and I just want to say I think you're all awesome and we make up the best BMB (all biases aside I swear).
@kmurdock925 I've only just started using it since it's now at Sephora. I got the set of under eye cream & under eye brightener {might be the CC cream} Enjoying it so far Eye cream more so because it's pretty light!
@kfren My H has a couple in his beard that I noticed recently! He's slightly younger {2yrs 10 months specifically ! } so it's just fun to laugh. I thought it was fluff at first since it's right near his lip. If it makes you feel better, I know people who have had grey/silver since early 20s, works for them and I'm sure you look wise now

Yes. It was me that started it because I started crying when I realized our LO wasn't going to learn about Pluto being a planet {official in 2006 fyi}
Those drive by posts were so random. I also wonder why people add their info to the spreadsheet... it took me a long time to finally add mine because I felt a little uneasy about putting personal info out there. Why would you make one post and never come back? Weird.
@rnielsen321 I laugh about it too, so no worries. We have a Margaret too! I never hear of anyone else named that, so I love when I find others naming their kids that.
@2589 I just thought of something. If you create a duplicate thread and you don't know how to delete it, then you probably don't know how to change default notification settings either, right?
@krashke totally random following your gif post in the party.... But I'm wondering are you on board now with bachelor/bachlorette? Given your fellow MN Bachlorette to be? Did your party with the gals convert you into a believer?
@stephcat421 I will probably try to catch some of the bachelorette because I love a MN girl but it is painful to watch and boring sometimes so I don't think I will make MH watch it with me and since we only have one TV with cable, I might be catching up while on maternity leave.
If nothing else I will try to keep up because I want to make friends lol

@krashke DH is the one who makes me watch. Dudes get really into the competitive aspect of it. Especially if they’re into sports stuff on The Ringer or love Jimmy Kimmel like my husband does lol. This season was extreeeemely boring, though. Also it’s much more fun with wine so looking forward to when that’s back in our lives....
@doxiemoxie212 damn I miss wine. I haven't had any yet because I can't justify buying a whole bottle or box knowing I will just have like half a glass every once in awhile and it will go to waste. Maybe I will get one of those little boxes that has like a glass or two in it and nurse that for awhile.

@catlady1215 I also vote riot for donuts! sorry about your donut shop though.
im also hoping TB will get its ish together soon-I couldn't get on with my work laptop today, I can't see an icons, and in general hate the mobile app.
Man I leave my house for a few hours and this board goes bananas! I always appreciate a good drive by thread. And @kfren I wasn't gonna try and judge, but when I originally saw her put her age in the spreadsheet thread, I thought we might be in for something like this too.
@May14th2011 if it makes you feel better, I let MH win and pick Tiberius as a middle name. Tbh it's really grown on me and it gives the full name a nice flow, so it might be a good compromise if he wants something out there and isn't backing down.
And thanks for the well wishes for the interview! I think it went really well. I brought up the pregnancy at the end and they were really positive about it and said the timing is actually great since summer is the off season here. I'll hear back either way next week, but FX!

@aharv77 I received the maxi dress I ordered from Pink Blush and it had a small slit on the thigh area. Then they tried to charge me return postage so I made a fuss and they apologized with a prepaid label, lol.
On another note, would anyone be interested in some size 16 H&M skinny jeans? I've tried wearing them maybe three times and I just don't find them comfortable because I run pretty thick in the legs. I'm not asking anything for them except maybe postage costs. Fair warning: cat and dog friendly home!
@krashke I sure hope bachlorette is better... Because like @doxiemoxie212 said this season was especially boring and very uncharacteristic. Bachelor in paradise is pretty exciting too! Well, if anything sip some wine and gossip about it with your friends!
On the Bachelor- I'm not a Bachelor watcher but I cracked up a couple years ago watching with a couple friends who are hard core fans because one of the contestant's occupation was listed as "twin" whenever she was doing her camera interviews. Not "nurse" not "pharmaceutical sales rep," just "twin."
Also I may have just put on the bachelor winter games. Did any bachelor fans watch it? I usually can't stand the traditional shows, but have always enjoyed BIP so I thought I'd give it a go.
