Not pregnancy related. But I get to take a hyperactive 5 yr old for an EKG tomorrow. After he's been cooped up with me all day while I work (no energy release). Pray for me and the people there
between this pregnancy and dr apts/scans, having to run around for kindergarten registrations and IEP mtgs now this for him (just to get him on ADHD meds btw. No known health issues). The next 2 months can't come quick enough! Ha!

@krashke - I agree! I have no ideas (other than the fact that eating more ice cream is never a bad idea. Haha). But I agree that some sort of celebration is in order!
I’m going to watch the bachelor tonight even though I have never seen an episode so that I can hang out with some girls to watch the final finale tomorrow night and I just saw that it is three hours long! This pregnant lady can’t make it to 10 pm!

@krashke I don't think I'll make it the full 3 hrs either. I atleast know the ending already so ehh. I'm actually annoyed it's 3 hrs. I'm so over this bachelor that I'm mad I have 3 effin hours left but can't stop now.

I'm on a plane that doesn't have ABC! I'm so upset I'm missing "the most dramatic finale" of all time. UGHGHGHGHGHG @BurlapandLace for Rachel's season they didn't really let us know until I think 30 or 45 min before the end? And the way it was edited, I seriously thought they were going to be like like, "ha ha, jk, it's Peter."
All I know is I can’t be on social media after a certain point. Because the social media spoilers always come out the moment it airs on the east coast - west coast problems!
No danger of spoilers from me. DH has the remote and he's flipping between Crocodile Dundee and Point Break... wait now he's on some Sylvester Stallone 80's movie.
I surrendered control of the remote an hour ago to catch up on the phone with an old college friend and now my only hope is that he falls asleep...
My little app just told me I have 99 days left. Part of me is like woohooo and the other part is like fackfackfack!
The Bachelor always makes me giggle. I lurrrve me some drama tv, but I never understood how these people ACTUALLY think they're going to be able to choose someone in 6 weeks. 6 weeks of vacation, no working, no family stress, no real life essentially. I can't even decide which car to lease for the next 3 years in 6 weeks. I like to watch it, but just the faith and belief that they have in the process that gets me every season where I'm like whaaaaa? You surprised?!
I'm so cold. It's not even that cold here (gets up to the 70s during the day) but I am forever freezing. I'm trying to not turn on the heat, so I'm bundled under a blanket and drinking hot chocolate.
Stayed up until 2am ET watching bach on DVR to avoid spoilers, which was easy bc jet lag, but oh man is it going to be hard to get back on a reg schedule now...
Any one have any suggestions on where we can fly for cheap? We weren't planning on a baby moon but I would really like to spend a weekend away and if we could swing it somewhere warm would be ideal. I just don't think it's going to happen.

@krashke socal flights to LAX usually aren't super expensive because there are so many flights. I think Kayak has a feature where you can just search your home airport and they give you suggestions for where to go that's cheap.
@doxiemoxie212 yeah I have been playing with that on Kayak but I wish you could eliminate certain airlines because I'm getting a bunch of cheap flights but they are with Spirit or Frontier

@krashke ugh they don't let you do that? They do when you know both airports. That's annoying AF. Do you have a fav airline? You could look at their specific website - I know Virgin America will list sales, etc.
@amys614 I think they put you in these very romantic situations to force you to fall in love. Like imagine you dated for 2 years before proposal, the show would be like a combination of the best dates and vacations from that two years.
NBR question in spoiler about supporting our neighbors who had catastrophic house damage in the recent wind storm. (It's long.) Wondering if anyone has had personal experience or insight into how to help in this type of situation (fire, flood, house loss, etc.)
Our neighbors across the street had devastating damage from the wind storm when a falling tree crashed through 2 stories of their house and ripped it in two. The damage is so major (their living room is totally collapsed in) and they may have to tear their whole house down and rebuild. The family is alive and safe because of where they were in the house at impact. The family has 3 kids ranging from elementary to high school.
Their insurance is covering their hotel right now and I assume/hope it will cover a rental home over the next year or so while their house is rebuilt. Are there other fees that won't be covered for them?
I dropped off a card/note with a restaurant gift card and the neighborhood has set up a GoFund me which has been raising a lot of money.
The other neighbors and I don't want to intrude or bother them too much with questions about what they need because they're overwhelmed and dealing with so much right now but I'm wondering if anyone has been through a similar disaster and has insight on what can practically be done. I'm also wondering if they are going to have a lot of expenses that insurance won't cover or if insurance will cover all of their needs. (I guess this depends but any insight would be appreciated.) TIA
@doxiemoxie212 omg noooo! That's awful! My mom works in a bank and has had older people come in trying to wire money to "their son" or "their nephew" when it was clearly a scam. Luckily she was there to stop them. I'm so sorry for your aunt
@elsie42 yeah her son is an SVP at some major international bank, and he is so effing mad at the bank branch that let his mom take out that kind of money. But she's super, super lucid, and really doesn't look or seem 92, so IDK what they really could've done.
@doxiemoxie212 Yeah when I worked retail there was a lady with Alzheimer's who would come in and have crazy shopping sprees. The son came in on his own trying to get us to refuse to accept her credit card. The manager had to say sorry, we can't just refuse to let her shop here.
Another spreadsheet drop in... If they were reg, they'd have seen on many occasions @izza2 talking about cleaning it up only proving why you're no longer on it!
