I saw a cute gender reveal on FB today, which I had not seen done before: They had a luau theme and had a little volcano on the table, and the dad poured in liquid (I assume vinegar) and out came blue lava! I assume you'd just put the baking soda in with a little food coloring and then when the vinegar hits, voila! pretty cute.

@caitlyn5454 that is AWESOME. I am a huge fan of creative gender reveals that people haven't seen before. In general I feel like most of the reveals are balloons or cake, both of which are cute, but it's fun to see new ideas.

We found out on Sunday we are having a boy! We are very excited! We figured it was a girl and that our daughter would have a sister, but are very pleasantly surprised to find out boy!
am i going crazy or are we very heavily pink in here so far? is the spreadsheet being updated based on this thread?

@ktcakes87 Some boards do a poll, but lurkers mess with them. Like, if you give options for multiples, lurkers will click that. I remember November had a poll and like 17 people chose "triplets or more" which was not accurate.
I'd keep it super simple if we do one, like boy/girl/team green/other (and then the 'others' i.e. boy/girl multiples can comment?).
We had an elective u/s today because we just couldn't wait for the anatomy scan. The tech was 99.9% sure it's a girl! I am so excited and overwhelmed with emotion. DS was a little disappointed (he wanted a brother) but he's over it now lol.
I had an elective ultrasound done at 16 weeks yesterday, and I'm so excited to announce that I'm Team Pink!! I was convinced that I was having a boy, but I'm completely over the moon about having a girl. So excited to start shopping and decorating (I'll keep the receipts just in case until my anatomy scan in August)! But the tech said she was sure it's a girl, and there are only 3 lines in between the legs- no other goods!

Haha @AFrye0726 While I was working I was totally thinking of all this stuff that would make the methodology better/easier. But I forgot I planned to do this until 10:30 and was like, let's just standardize the ss answers as best as possible and get a count done!
