I can hard believe it, because everyone and their mother was convinced it would be a boy. So much so, that I went from thinking it was a girl to thinking it would be a boy. My SO thought it was a girl, so did my dad, my SIL, a co-worker and our 4-year old niece and nephew. Literally everyone else thought boy, 'you haven't been sick' and 'you've got great skin' were the main arguments. I had the ultrasound technician triple check and she's 100% sure, if she's wrong, she'll come repaint the nursery
I'll post a photo in the ultrasound thread tomorrow (it's 12:30 AM here and I should try and get some rest ).
It's a boy! And he was moving around like crazy during the ultrasound. DH even felt his first kick yesterday which seems pretty early (20+1) so I foresee a fairly high energy kiddo!
My family all thought it would be a boy but DH and I were both thinking girl. I think he's a little disappointed just because we were closer to picking a girl name and now we're starting from square one!
Hello, not been on for a while for numerous reasons, but I just wanted to come on and tell you guys I'm having a girl!!! I'm so excited as I've not had a girl in nearly 17 years so I get to do the whole pink thing again whoop whoop
Team Pink here!!! I am so thrilled! I thought it was a boy this whole time but I've only come up with girl names haha! We found out Friday and she is growing right on target, yay!!
Well we just left our anatomy scan and we're officially TEAM BLUE!!!!!! I'm so excited DD is such a joy but I grew up with all girls so I'm excited for a little boy
We had our anatomy scan and we're having one of each ! The US tech couldn't get a great view of baby girl so she's not 100% sure. We're going with what she said though because it's what we want LOL.
My wife and I really wanted to be team green. However, we broke down at the ultrasound yesterday and found out we're having a baby boy! We're so excited, it's exactly what I wanted.
@AMCsquared My husband and I had a want for one gender over the other first but as long as baby is healthy thats on that matters to us! so you aren't the only one!
It's a Girl!! Another team pink here:) I had thought it was a boy until the last two days before my ultrasound where I dreamed it was a girl. My dreams were right! My DH Mom freaked out because we have now broken the "curse" on his side of the family of all boys going back a few generations. This little girl is going to be super spoiled by family members who have never gotten to buy girly items. haha
@cait5413 Its something from star wars or track, I've never seen either, I had to look it up. Google also told me about the fat deposits. A lot of times I see my ticker and think WTF is that? I think I picked it because around the 8 week mark was the golden stitch from HP.
We are team BLUE! So excited for DS to have a little brother! I've become mostly a lurker on this board but am hoping to become more active now that my PGAL brain can take a chill pill now that there is confirmation that baby boy is healthy!
@kirss@cait5413 It's not from Star Trek or Star Wars, it's from Dr. Who: "The Adipose were a race of vaguely humanoid blobs of fat." I had to look it up too because my geek level is lacking lol.
