  • @BeachMommy2B ugh that is SUCH a bummer.  I had a slight leg up because their website had a list of rides not to go on pregnant, but it was not accurate.  When we got there signs were posted for no pregnant riders outside of every single ride, including the dumb tram!  I literally paid for tickets to walk around. Luckily I had a screenshot from their website and they admitted the website discrepancy.  I'm glad Disney World has so many options!  It's so much larger than Disneyland, which is about an 45 mins-1 hour away from us...there are WAY less options there I think... but hey only a few more weeks!  Oh yeah, and recovery...and having a newborn for the first time ever.  LOL

  • @MTB16 DH and I went to Boston last year for vacation and we were there while they were setting up. It as super cool to see.

@lrwardrop I love click list! I haven't been into the grocery store for big shopping in months! And I've saved so much money in impulse buys

Add me to the dentist hating group. I also have a 2w pp visit scheduked. Already not looking forward to it.

Had my 36 week appointment today and found out im measuring 50 weeks pregnant. I have been almost in tears all day just thinking about the fact that i have two more weeks to go. So add me to those that are cranky at this point.
This made me giggle... i assume you mean 40. But I am sorry you feel that way, its seriously the worst feeling!

  • @Jkp7749 That sucks but I've heard the closer you get the less accurate those measurements are, not sure if makes you feel better.

So with 3 weeks to go I was measuring roughly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ cm. So big it couldn't be quantified? Yeah, I am pretty sure I cried too.

SITB: your shoulder shrugging guy just made me shoot water out of my nose. I know it wasn't funny for you at the time so I'm sorry I'm laughing. I'm in a mood today.

  • I ate way too much Easter junk today and now I feel like complete crap.
  • @Jkp7749 - Ugh! I'm sorry you are feeling so miserable!

Speaking of the dentist, the last two Mondays DS (4 yrs old) had to go in to get cavities filled. He is normally a pretty tough kid and rarely cries from pain. The first time in, DS cried for a minute or so when he got the shot of anesthesia but opened his mouth and let them do the work without a problem. Well, the second time, the dentist decided to put the shot in without waiting for his assistant so no one was holding DS' hands and of course his hands shot up as soon as he was poked, which bent the needle and had him spewing blood everywhere. So then the dentist called the assistant in and they finished putting in the anesthesia but by then DS was a mess and cried for a good 5 minutes straight before he finally let them work on his teeth. It honestly made my blood boil because it was so unnecessary. There was only one other patient in the office at the time and someone else was with him so I couldn't understand why the assistant wasn't in with us or why the dentist wouldn't just wait for her or even ask me to hold his hands instead of just going ahead.

@vrj0522: That is awful!! I'd be pissed off too!!
  • @vrj0522 I'm so sorry for you and your DS. That definitely could have been handled better.
  • For all the ladies visiting the dentist with extra sensitivity, you can request they put the numbing cream on. It makes the whole experience tolerable so you can keep up with your cleanings without too much pain.
  • bacorrea, I hope the dog boarding goes well! I want to try a new place when we move, but I'm always so nervous about it. We had 2 bad experiences with dog kennels so I hate having to go to new ones, but this one would be convenient because it's only 5 minutes from our new house.

  • I completely forgot all about marathon Monday and decided today was a great day to visit my friend in waltham. Hello traffic!
  • @emilyalso Wow never actually heard of such a thing! Thanks for the link too :)
  • @vrj0522 That's a horrible experience! Sorry y'all went through that!
@emilyalso At least you're dancing around! I feel like we're our worst critics. I'm sure you look great!
  • @erinh2005 Annual passholder here...I'm probably going at least three more times before this LO comes and I was there a few days before DD was born.

Go to Target and get some Dr. Scholl's inserts for your shoes. Definitely stay hydrated and bring lots of protien packed snacks. All restaurants will give you free ice water if you ask for it. You can also ride anything that your DD can get on, basically just no roller coasters. If you do get tired, there are plenty of shows to enjoy. DD's favorite is Mickey's Magical Map by Toon Town. If you have any other specific questions, let me know. You guys will have a great time no matter what!
  • @erinh2005- @achays11 had some good ideas. I'm a passholder too. It's definitely been hard to last long when I go but my LO is so low and the pressure is insane. Wear the most comfortable shoes you own, keep up on your water, and take lots of breaks. Your DD will absolutely still have a blast.
  • @SKZW aw man!!  Hopefully you are able to go home today!
  • @skzw wow! What a night you had!! Hope all is well today when they check and you can go home!

  • @SKZW agreed that's not a very restful or relaxing night. Hopefully your labs go well and the doctor sends you home to prep for the version in a few weeks!
  • Wow, what a crazy 24 hours you've had, @SKZW! I'm so sorry. I hope your BP comes down, but I know that's hard when you're stressed out and in the hospital and all your plans have been shot to hell. Fingers crossed for good vitals and labs this morning!
  • @SKZW wow... FX all is well. So sorry you're being put through all this.

  • @SKZW what a night! Sorry you're dealing with that. Hope your BP comes down and you get to go home soon.
  • @SKZW I hateeeee being in the hospital, I definitely feel for you. I hope your morning goes well and you can get home soon ! Hang in there girl.
  • Man, I'm sorry you're dealing with all that @SKZW. Like @erinh2005 said, I wish we had another you to give some perfect words of encouragement. Even if you are there for the next couple weeks, at least you're doing what's best for the baby, right? We can entertain you in the meantime, and everything else will work out in the end!
  • Oh wow @skzw, that sounds like an awful evening! Hopefully everything works out and you're able to get home soon. FX for a much quieter and calmer night tonight!
