How have we failed to discuss Big Little Lies here? I just found a BLL soundtrack playlist on Spotify. It's awesome.
I was going to bring it up after the finale, but completely forgot. I won't say anything and spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched the mini-series, but SO GOOD! Loved that last episode.
@NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot I will be listening to that playlist when I'm back st work Monday! The music was so good.
Are there any GOT watchers on our board? I'm trying to think of what other shows are coming out this summer we could talk about- I'm a big fan of the leftovers and OITNB which will both be back this summer.
@Hansolosparka I'm GOT and OITNB.... I'll also hang my head in shame and admit I can't wait for the final episodes of Pretty Little Liars that start next week
+1 to all of the shows listed, except Big Little Lies. I've been saving it for maternity leave!!
Also, my in laws called about 2 hours and asked if they could take DS for an overnight. H and I literally are confused about what to do without our tiny dictator walking around, determine how we spend our night. I feel like we should go out, but that means I have to wash my hair - effort!

I'm planning to watch it on maternity leave. I'm hearing great things from friends, family and co-workers.
Another GoT fan over here! Dying over having to wait so long for the new season. I did a lot of binge watching series during nursing with DS, I'm jealous of all the FTM who will get to enjoy that uninterrupted by a toddler
Has anyone used a Hygeia Pump? I got through my insurance and it looks pretty fancy but what do I know as a FTM? It looks like it might only be covered for California...
Random, but kind of related. I just ordered myself a tablet for feeding sessions in the nursery. I was kind of worried H might think it was unnecessary, but he was totally on board. Now I can keep up with my to-watch list when I'm not downstairs!
@starphish18 I loved having iPad and kindle for nursing (and pumping) sessions, especially when company was at the house that was out staying their welcome. Good call!
@WombThereItIs good call on house of cards! The question is would it be better to do a thread on here or in the other place? I'm still not sure what goes where now that some of us are over there.
Another GoT fan here! The wait for next season is going to be the end of me lol. I'm a season behind on OITNB but I'm planning on catching up once baby comes.
+1 for OITNB! Just saw that teaser they realeased and I'm so pumped. I usually rewatch the prior season before jumping into the new one because my memory is garbage. I'm interested in Big Little Lies and may need to check that out. Is that HBO?
GoT is so amazing. I have a super guilty pleasure show though that I will 100% be rewatching while nursing. Witches of East End! It's only 3 seasons and got cancelled right in the middle. It's awful but also inexplicably awesome & addictive!!
"The mysterious Beauchamp family lives in the secluded seaside town of East End. Free-spirited artist Joanna Beauchamp is the mother of wild-child bartender Freya and shy librarian Ingrid, who are both gifted -- and cursed -- with a magic birthright, of which they are unaware. Freya notices bizarre occurrences in her life when she inexplicably finds herself drawn to the troubled brother of her wealthy fiance. But it isn't until Joanna's estranged sister appears with a warning that could change the family's fate that the matriarch must reveal to her daughters that they are immortal witches with untapped powers, a revelation that turns their small-town life upside down."
It's like the old soap "Passions" but better and with hot kissing scenes with handsome warlocks!
@sweaterboots lol that sounds like "Witchita" from Love.
But yas to GoT!
@Jens_Hoes I love all the real housewives! We have gone through periods of having cable vs. not over the last 8 or so years and those are the series I love to catch up on whenever we have cable! My best is New Jersey then Orange County then Beverly Hills then New York and then Atlanta!
@ChristinaWild we are kinda in the same boat tonight! MIL offered to keep DD overnight but we decided to just pick her up later tonight but it has been an interesting series of events we're just happy to do without an audience for once lol. Currently have our redbox movie paused and DH is napping on the couch while I'm bumping. We both have an empty bag of gourmet assorted chocolates and candies within reach that we grabbed at the mall after dinner... guilt free!
Also, I feel bad I've been checked out of participating much lately but hope you all have noticed my love titting!
@NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot personally, unless you really like the old style shows and the awful special effects, start with the "new" series. It starts with Christopher ecelston (think that's spelt wrong) as the doctor, then David tenant. They are my 2 favourites and probably more suited to someone who has never seen any before.

DH and I just started GoT (like season 1 episode 4 just started lol) but we love it so far. I'm excited to binge watch but he wants to watch together. We should still be able to get a good chunk watched during maternity leave though.
I need to look for some shows I can watch without him during the day. I'll have to look into BLL. I also love pretty little liars @BeachMommy2B. I'm behind one season but have half of ot DVR'd. If I can find the first four episodes of the last season I can get caught up before the next one starts. MAybe they will play them the days leading up to the premier?
I'm behind in OINTNB but hoping to catch up on maternrity. Haven't gotten into GoT. Loved Wotches of Eastend and was o mad when it got cancelled! I have so many shows to catch up on and/or start! I actually started watching Cover Affairs on Amazon. I watch a bunch of random stuff haha supernatural, greys, scandal, new girl, and I can't think of the others right now because my dog is currently whining st me to get out of bed. Ugh doesn't she realize it's Saturday?!

@NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot - What @PartiallyDomesticated said. Start with the first season of the 2005 reboot with Christopher Eccleston. It's on Amazon Prime. It took me a few episodes to get into it, and then it's like I lost a month of my life binge watching the rest. The show is kind of campy, à la Buffy, if that's your thing.
What's this Big Little Lies show? I've never heard of it, but now I kind of want to see if I'd be interested in it! @NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot I agree, start with the "new" series for Doctor Who with Christopher Eccleston (the ninth doctor). I had to watch the first couple episodes to get into it because there's not much back story, and my husband joined me at the beginning of the eleventh doctor but didn't enjoy it until we restarted at the ninth. I am so excited to get back into watching it on leave!
@absbubbs Big Little Lies is a mini-series on HBO. I think it was just 7 episodes, and it was based on a book (which I never read). It has a great cast and is essentially a character drama with an underlying mystery. This isn't a spoiler, because it's literally the first thing you find out, but someone (unknown) is killed at a school event, and then they go backwards and the show leads up to that event. For being so short, I just love how developed the characters are. Plus, the music is awesome.

Doctor Who, anyone? If I had any will power, I'd DVR the episodes for later ... but I probably won't.

No GOT for me, but I have been wanting to watch Big Little Lies. I'm a Scandal fan, but I think I'm a season behind because of Netflix.
