Hi @thothscribe81! Look at us. We are pretty well matched up :) No follistim for me. I got bfp on my first IUI so they aren't doing too much intervention. My first IUI was pretty late in the cycle so it won't surprise me if these follies need some more time to bake! I'm excited to hear how you US goes on Sunday! My next US is tues and still doing OPKs. Are you going to trigger?

@JaeJayStark I've been reading that slow growing means better eggs so I'm gonna go with that theory lol I skipped opks this month since we are having so many monitoring appointments - I surged early last month so we've got cetrotide on stand by in case they need to keep that from happening again!  I'll be triggering once my follie is big enough so fingers crossed for Sunday night but it might go into next week. I can't wait for the iui but I'm dreading the tww after!!!

Do y'all continue to temp while doing treatment cycles?  My bbt still hasn't spiked even though I took the trigger Monday night.  It's doing a slow rise, which always kinda scares.  I know I probably should just stop temping all together.

I try to keep normal routine during my 2ww but do not drink liquor  and do not sit in the hot tub or sauna after the pool.  I try to eat cleaner but doesn't always happen.  Try to stay warm and try to go for longer walks. I've started making a fertility shake and I have been having that all day, just greens some almond milk, fruit and maca.

@junicek I am feeling pretty good. I had a little cramping right after the procedure for about half an hour, but nothing too bad. Just trying to take it easy this weekend and not go too crazy during the TWW!

    Q. I am taking 200 mg of progesterone supp. and I am having extreme low back pain, has anyone experienced  that before? I have chronic back pain from an accident and I hope it is not acting up again but this feels more like the pain I get during AF cramping just stronger

So some good news and potentially bad news - had my US this morning and got the good news of one mature follicle ready to go and a nice lining!!  So excited that we are good to go this cycle!  I'm triggering tonight which means I should have my iui Tuesday  morning....however I live just outside Philly and we are supposed to get a foot or more of snow Monday night into Tuesday :-/  my doctor will be there regardless so if we can make it in we can do the iui. The possible up side I'd that my DF has better than average sperm count and motility. So having sex will hopefully give us the same results if we can't make it t  the office fir the iui. I'd love yo have the reassurance the iui gives but I'm focusing on the fact that I've got a healthy follicle ready to go and we are in baby making mode lol

Hi ladies! I'm supposed to have my first ultrasound tomorrow (CD11) but started taking OPKs on CD8 just to "follow along" - well I got a positive this morning and now I'm stressing! My clinic doesn't answer phone calls on weekends so I can't call to ask if this is okay.  Unfortunately my DH is away tomorrow for work so even if they wanted to skip the trigger and do the insemination tomorrow we can't  :s

    Any advice???

@bpietronicco - welcome! I'm so sad about your CP, but also think it's awesome that you are getting back in the saddle. :) Good luck this month!

@PeaGreen421 - welcome :) Sorry about the BFN, FX it goes better this month.

@seethosestars - nnnnooooo! Ugh. Sorry about the early OPK. I hope you hear from your clinic soon; my clinic was closed over Christmas and I had a positive OPK the day before I was supposed to. They said because I'd seen a surge too early (say it was Saturday and they opened on Monday - Sunday would have been ok, but it was Sat), it was probably a waste for me to come in, so we skipped. :( So frustrating!!! FX your clinic says something else - they might have you come in for bloodwork.

@megmac2010 @baseballhoney - great news for you both! Congratulations! @megmac2010 - I hope it went well today! Now for the wait - UGH!

@thothscribe81 - I hope you can make it in to the clinic!

@Cinnamonn - meh, I am ok. Holding on. I keep having unusual cramps and hoping against all hopes it is a little embryo burrowing/growing, but it's just as likely to be a cyst, given my giant follicles this month. Ugh. I am just trying to stay sane, you know? Just trying to get through each day.
  • Options
@funkykey how was your weekend?  Hopefully you can distract yourself this week a bit, I've got my fingers crossed for you!!

I have my IUI this afternoon since we are supposed to be buried in snow by tomorrow morning - I was SO glad they were able to move it.  It took some maneuvering with DF work schedule (he's in training at a new job so we are trying to avoid him taking off time right now).  So I ran back over yesterday and grabbed the liquid that they keep the sperm sample preserved in so that he could provide his sample this morning.  Then I'm leaving work early to have the IUI done this afternoon - whew!  Stupid snow storm!!  I know we probably could have just relied on timed intercourse this month but I'm glad we were able to fit it in - its just nice to have that extra push at the end to give us the best chance possible!!!!

Now to get through the next few hours at work!  On the bright side we are pretty much 100% sure no one is going anywhere tomorrow so I'll get a nice 24 hour rest after the procedure - and I have a good excuse not to shovel snow lol!
  • Options
@funkykey - isn't it frustrating when the clinic isn't available 24/7 365 days a year?? don't they know we NEED THEM?? haha. I had my ultrasound this morning - they are going to do my IUI tomorrow morning.  Apparently no need for the trigger given my own body is doing the LH surge already. I'm trying to stay hopeful that the timing is going to be okay.  They saw two good sized follicles on my ultrasound (17 and 25) so that's great news at least.  As for you, those cramps are definitely an embryo burrowing in!! good luck with the rest of the TWW!

Hey ladies.. Sorry I have been MIA. I had a death in the family.

About my lining, apparently if its too thick for baseline and they put me on clomid then it would get thicker and possibly develop a cyst. It went down a little bit. So RE put me back on 250mg of clomid day 6-10. Please pray for me my emotions have been on 100.

I go back on Saturday and possible IUI next Monday or Tuesday.

Stay warm my east coast ladies, we are getting snow tomorrow...:-(
