@megmac2010 I feel the same way!!  I'm hoping this weekend is distracting so it doesn't drag!  We are hanging out with my MIL on Saturday while she dog sits for my SIL and we are going to some kind of game place on Sunday which should be fun!  Beauty and the Beast is going to be so awesome, I promised my mom I'd go see it with her sometime next week :-) Needless to say my DF is very happy that my mom wants to see it with me so he isn't dragged along lol

I just had monitoring today- day 12ish of my cycle- and there is a follicle growing on the left! There are 2 on the right too but glad there is one on the left this month again since I have the blocked tube! Just waiting for the nurse to call with my @amanda_1182 so sorry to hear about the cysts and ovulation.

@megmac2010 and @thothscribe81 Beauty and the Beast is supposed to be so good.  I want to go but can't this weekend. If you see it, a report would be great I feel like it was the best of the Disney Movies.

As for me- My little follicles are growing (slowly but growing).  I'm cycle day 15 today and they are both 17.5.  IUI on Tuesday!

@Irisheyes81 will definitely give a report if we go see it this weekend or next week!  My best friend saw it last night and said it was amazing!  Also the same thing happened to me with my follicle - it was slow but it grew!  Excited for your IUI!!!

@JaeJayStark they didn't tell me the measurements but the nurse just called and told be I have 3 follicles on the right and 1 on the left that are growing- she said they aren't big enough yet- go back in Monday but she anticipates the iui for early next week! Thanks everyone for the good thoughts!!!

@Funnygirl34 I wouldn't count yourself out until 14dpo. 9 Is too early! I would even say that AF is the be all and end all of calling yourself 'out'

I can't win this month. Not only do I have cysts, not only did we miss ovulation, but we had out of town guests stay with us tonight and TW the girl announced she is "a little late" so she's not drinking to be safe end TW. Of course I'm not mad at her, I'm happy for them, but I still wanted to run upstairs and cry when she told me. But instead I had to make small talk and visit for the next 5 freaking hours. Ugh I'm just bitter and in a foul mood.

But seriously, if you caught me with that on the wrong day, I would cry. I'm happy for everyone who has good things happening for them, but on a bad day, like a day I just found out I had complex cysts, I might need a few minutes to myself.

This IF journey gets harder the longer it goes on!

@junicek I used all of my powers, but couldn't convince DH to see it with me! Going to have to call on some girlfriends! Glad you enjoyed it. Can't wait to see it!

@megmac2010 I tried to get my DH to go too with no luck!! Lol, I must not be very good at convincing. I'm going to go with my sisters. I have heard from a lot of people it is very good.

@amanda_1182 oh I know that feeling and it sucks to feel like that when it has been such a tough IF journey.

As for me I POAS yesterday, 8 dpiui and mistakenly used a wondo ovulation stick and it had two lines, realized before the lines popped up.  Then I used a $ store pregnancy test and its negative. Having cramping not sure if it is from progesterone as it started about 3 days ago or just early PMS.

Does anyone know why I would still be showing an LH surge so far into my cycle..?

@imajin99 Could the surge detected on the wondo be because of some of the medications you were taking?  I know my doctor told me not to even bother taking a hpt until at least 11dpiui because the trigger shot can cause hcg to be detected in the urine until like 10 days post iui.  Maybe the medication did something to the ovulation strip too?  Fingers crossed you get a positive in the next few days!!!

Hi ladies! I have a question and am not sure if this is the right place to ask but I'll try anyway. I'm CD 11 today (took clomid day 4-7) and went in for an ultrasound to check follicles this morning. They said I have two follicles one 24mm and one at 33mm. They want me to trigger tonight and do IUI on Tuesday. My question is does anyone have any experience with follicles that large? I've read a lot about doctors not even doing the IUI when they are that big or that they are most likely cysts. I'm not sure if I want to go through with it this month if there is a possibility that the follicles are no good. Any input would be much appreciated. Thank you.

thothscribe81 Thank you, next few days will be tough to wait out.  Think your suggestion is probably right on the cause of it.

@sonebone When I asked my RE she said 25 mm is preferred.  Last IUI I had one at 26 and 22 and did the trigger and the IUI within 24 hours. Good luck on Tuesday!!

Good morning everyone! How's the March IUI group doing? I have my IUI tomorrow and I'm so nervous and don't even know why.  My nurse said she had a 'good feeling' this time.  Whatever that means.

@thothscribe81 How was your weekend? How's your 2ww? Did you see Beauty and the Beast? megmac2010 and @baseballhoney I can't convince DH to see it with me either.  Wasn't it the best of all the Disney movies? I love how much Belle loves books and her yellow dress. 

@funnygirl34 Did your RE tell you to test so early? I feel like it's SO early to be testing. 

@amanda_1182 You've had to endure a lot this month! I hope you are feeling okay today.  I'm sure it was nice to get away from the out of town guests.  Are you benched until the cysts go away or can you start over again on a new month?

Imajin99thothscribe81 is right.  The HCG trigger shot causes the ovulation test to remain positive.  If you didn't take the HCG, there is a little bit of a chance you have elevated LH.  I am not a doctor and can't give medical advice. However, from my experience with PCOS, I had elevated LH that caused a false positive on an opk.  In fact, I always had a pretty dark line until I was medicated for it.  Now, I can't even surge on my own.  

@sonebone Hey! How are you? I'm doing IUI tomorrow as well! I'll think good thoughts for you Medication can cause large follicles.  I wouldn't worry about it.  The RE would tell you if they were too big to ovulate.  Even if the 33 is a cyst, the 24 is perfect.  I would LOVE to have bigger follicles.  On CD15, mine were 17.5....slow slow slow

@Irisheyes81 Good luck today!! Hopefully it's your month like the nurse thinks. My wait wasn't too bad until Friday and now it feels like it is dragging. I don't test until the 30th so I have awhile to wait!

@irisheyes81  Hey!  My weekend was pretty good - we got to hang out with my MIL on Saturday - she was dog sitting my SIL's dogs so got to play with the dogs a bit and then had an awesome dinner at Cheesecake Factory!  We were supposed to go bowling and play ping pong and darts with my best friend and her bf on Sunday but DF got a pretty bad migraine so we opted to just relax at home for the day - got some chores done and tried not to over analyze my body lol.  I've had some cramping and pinching which could be promising but no sore boobs yet.  Got a progesterone check this morning so just waiting for results to see if they want to put me on a supplement for the next week or not.  I'm going TWW crazy!!!  I'm like omg just 6 1/2 more days lol.  I'm antsy just waiting for the progesterone results I can't imagine what its going to be like next Monday waiting for the pregnancy results!  

Didn't get to see Beauty and the Beast yet but hoping sometime this week - my mom and I are going to go because DF is definitely not interested lol.  Though might go see Kong with him on Tuesday (our local theater has a Tightwad Tuesday special - only $6 for the movie and $2.50 for a medium popcorn!  It's become our Tuesday night thing a few times a month :-) )

Irisheyes81 No, she didn't tell me to test early.  It is probably too early to test... but I'm a POAS crazy person.  

I'm either 11 or 12 dpo today.  I had a temp spike this morning, but still testing negative.  I'm trying to hold on to the hope that maybe I implanted later!

Thanks @JaeJayStark! I was so nervous about it!! Not as bad as I thought it would be. I was expecting it to feel something like the HSG, which was bearable but still sucked. Didn't have any cramping or pain with the IUI though. Just scared myself and DH had to talk me down a little.

I already caved and took one cheapo home test on 8dpo (I know...) and of course BFN. It was much too early, but I had one around and couldn't restrain myself. However, I am determined not to buy any more until Friday when AF is due. I have wasted a fortune on those things over the years!

So, do any of you test out your trigger? I'm 10 days post trigger, 8dpiui, and today I had the bright idea to do a test to make sure the trigger was out of my system so that later this week, when I see a BFP (positive thinking?) I'll be sure there are no traces of the trigger shot left. But I got a faint line and now I'm driving myself crazy. It's too early, right? It has to be the trigger, right? Save me from myself! And don't let me pee on anything else.

@megmac2010 oh I am hoping that the trigger shot is out of your system and this is your BFP. I tested 7 & 8 dpiui and had no 2nd line so trigger was out of my system but I know they say it can be different for everyone.  Keeping fingers crossed that 2nd line gets darker and darker!

@megmac2010 I am at 11 dpiui and I have tried not to test for the last two days. Beta is for this Thursday 23 but I feel like I have been having PMS cramping for a week now.

megmac2010 my trigger tends to hang around forevvvveerrrrr, so yes I test it out.  Mine was finally gone yesterday at 13 days past trigger (I had the faintest of lines until then).  BUT I think that is unusual for it stay that long.

@megmac2010 - what was your trigger dose? I had 10,000lu of hcg, so mine would have definitely been in my system until 14dpo. But if you had less than that, that just might be a BFP. FX!
