@anokoch me too! I'm team green but am having that internal Kermit meme struggle while filling out my Panorama NIPT paperwork with checking the "find out the sex/do not find out the sex" box!
@britvahok I'm not sure I'll ever see this spreadsheet as I only use the mobile app. We had something like this for Feb '16. I checked it constantly to see how it changed even after people were giving birth. Nice to have something you can just see on the app itself.
We are finding out on Sunday. I had the horizon test done at 10 weeks and the results came a week later... I've had the envelope sitting on our shelf for 8 days!!!! We are waiting for DH mom and sister to arrive in town this week. It's killing me!! we are letting our 3.5 yr old son open a balloon box!
We are having a GIRL! After 2 boys, I am overjoyed! We found out because we had to do IVF for this pregnancy, they were able to tell the gender of our one and only embryo! Let the shopping begin
We got the results of my 10 week NIPS testing a few days ago. It took less than a week! It had the sex in the results. Ive been eating a bunch of fruit lately and the countdown I have on the app is "my baby is the size of certain fruits", so when I went to tell DH I put a blueberry in one hand (blue for boy) and a raspberry in the other (for a girl) and opened the hand (of the blueberry) to reveal it it was a boy! DH wasn't specific what he wanted but he was relieved bc he thinks a boy would be easier to raise, whereas I wanted a girl. I'm happy either way esp the test results being all negative. Now we need to think of boys names. Figures, I had a top five list of girl names bit just one for a boy. Maybe that one is thee name!

Mommy to a super cute havanesse puppy and baby boy!
We found out yesterday we are having a girl!!! I felt like deep down I knew bc this pregnancy has been opposite of how my sons was. But I still had doubts. We did a balloon reveal with immediate family.. we let our 3 yr old open the balloon box. It was awesome!
I'm extremely impatient so we went to a private ultrasound place where they specialize in early ultrasounds. At 14 weeks (Saturday) the tech says it's a boy. I swore up and down it was going to be a girl because this pregnancy is SO different from my pregnancy with DS. But the tech said she was absolutely positive it is a boy. So for now we are Team Blue unless I find out otherwise, haha.

I'm feeling the same way! My husband thinks it's a girl but I have a feeling it will be another boy!! Eek!

I'm right there with you! We are doing the same thing this weekend at 15 weeks! So excited and I'm positive it's a boy so we shall see!!!
We received the results of the NIPT yesterday, and are having another son. We told my son that I'm pregnant, and he's having a baby brother last night. He was so excited and wanted to facetime people immediately to tell them the news. It was sweet having him tell people because he's so excited and animated.
With my first pregnancy, I made cupcakes and filled them with blue frosting for the reveal with the family.
Doting wife. Mama to a 4 year old son. Big dreamer.
We're having a boy. I am nervous. I have 5 nieces. I don't know anything about boys!! Also, are boys names boring or is it just me? Don't tell anyone I'm being weird about this. I've only wanted this baby for 5 years, now I'm being freaky about having a boy.

Not weird at all! I only had a middle name picked out for a boy after my grandpa and was really struggling to find boy names I liked!
It's a boy! We already have one of each, so this was the tie breaker. I thought for sure it was going to be a girl, but genetic testing said boy! Also, all the results came back negative for chromosomal abnormalities too.
DH and I opened the report together with the kids, so we all found out together. Not very exciting, but we were still surprised. We texted our parents with the news. I guess with #3, the announcements get kind of boring. Haha!
we are having a GIRL! the temptation to start buying things has become REAL, real quick! we told our families over the past couple weekends and did gender reveal cupcakes with each set of parents. with my parents & my husbands dad i swirled in colored cake mix but didn't want it to hit the edges so i was light handed -- it worked but it didn't take as well... so for my husbands mom & stepdad i just put pink colored icing in the center. it was pretty cute, but as soon as they bit in they all immediately said "its a GIIIIRRRRLL" with their mouths full - i was worried they might choke! they are all super excited
We did an early ultrasound at 14 weeks that says boy, I'm going to wait until the official 20 week scan to announce but we did photos just in case the original scan is correct :-) and I have an awesome keepsake shirt now
We found out on Valentine's Day we are having a boy (we have two girls so I am happy for my husband to have another guy in the house). For anybody keeping score I had posted earlier in December a gender guess of boy because on the night I ovulated (11/30) I had a vivid "dream" of a spirit guide telling me I was now pregnant with a baby boy and to not test until December 11. On 12/11 I took a test at like 4:30am and it was blank. I was convinced I was crazy. Went to go throw it away 20 minutes later and there was a super faint line, and now here we are confirming the boy as well. I def want to work on my medium abilities further
Further I am convinced this baby wants a Celtic name (my dream felt very connected to my Irish ancestors), but my last name is super Italian so nothing sounds good except irish names in the top 100, which I won't do. Boys names are hard...
I love your story @donehue! A couple of months before we conceived, I dreamt that I had a baby girl with a strong Irish name and two middle names. We are indeed having a girl, and decided on a different Irish first name, but kept the two middle names. My fiancé is Irish/Scottish and I'm Italian. Pretty neat
I decided to wait till my doctor normally does their US and they wait till 19 weeks at the least to do it. I figured it was so they wouldn't have to worry about telling me the wrong gender. That's what I tell myself so I don't get one sooner haha
I'm supposed to find out my baby's gender about a week after my birthday. I'm hoping I can get my doctor to let me do it on my birthday. That would be an amazing birthday! I'll be 19weeks then so it should be just fine right, I can't wait to know...
@Knottiedbf930c6a9e6cf18 the genitalia should be developed by 15 weeks. I found out at 15 weeks at an elective ultrasound place with my first. Most docs wait til 18-20 weeks to do the anatomy scan but that is about much more than the sex. I'm going to find out next week at 16 weeks by an elective 3D ultrasound because my doc office ultrasound tech is super mean and rude and I was so glad we didn't find out the sex of our baby through her the first time.
They shouldn't allow people like that to work with pregnant women. We are usually happy and excited and they can ruin an experience for us. I'm using an OB that was recommended to me by a friend and I'm loving them. Only downside is I have to go to other places to get my tests done and any ultrasound after the first one.
Had a 3/4D ultrasound yesterday and we are having our second boy! We are so excited. I would've loved to have a girl but I am still happy and so in love with him anyway. I hope he looks just like his brother.
Found out yesterday via 3D ultrasound that we are having a second girl! I was totally shocked as I was certain it was a boy, but we are thrilled to have another lady coming. I'm very excited for DD to have a baby sister and they will only be 17 months apart. Besties for life!
