Still no clue and hardly any discussion going on in my house. My top three right now are Max, Leo and August (Augie or Gus or both). Can't decide on a long form for Max and I think we'd go with just Leo no long form. Any opinions on those three?
We're using Max (well really Maxwell) - so I'm a fan. We also considered Augustin, so I like august as well!
Boy names were so hard for us last time around too, Curly. I don't know what changed this time around, but I am glad that this LO has a name either way!
@danijo-2 I love love love August. It is one of my favorite boy names especially since we were married in August. Dh didn't like it so I named our dog August Ezekiel. Lol our animals always get people names. He lives with my in laws right now and they call him Auggie.
I love August nn Gus. My sister used it for my nephew otherwise I would have used it. Max and Leo are great too, can't go wrong with any of those three.
Glad to see so many positive experiences with Max, Leo & August. Now why can't naming a human be as easy as naming a pet. I had no issues naming my cats.

I like Max and August. But I don't really love the nicknames for August.
Every time I think my husband and I get close to a name it starts to feel wrong. Maybe I just need to meet this baby before I name her!
This was us for awhile. We tried to go with Grayson, we 'test drove' the name and it felt off, so we tried out some others and they felt off too. One finally felt right. There's no harm in waiting to meet her.
We really struggled with #2's name!!! We knew our sons name before he was even concieved because he was named after two special people in my husband's life that had passed away recently... Jonathan Clark. But #2 was a totally different story! DH was dead set on having an emotional connection to the name... I was really playing with the idea of giving her an "I" name because then we could be in immediate alphabetical order (my name starts with "h", baby #2 "i", DS with "J", and DH with "k") but I couldn't find anything that jumped out at me Finally, I wrote all the ideas down and noticed Josephine starts with Joseph which is my dad's middle name. DH approved so baby girl will be Josephine Mae.
@CurlyMommy416@Ahutch428, Grayson James (after my grandfather) was our name, but we decided on Beau William (after DH's grandfather). Both were on our list front DD3. Grayson is a great name, but Beau just felt right.
The only name dh and me are agreeing on is Ava. I've suggested Brynne, Bria, Kiera...but he thinks they're all "weird". I was set on Ava, but I'm having second thoughts.
I really like Ava! It's popular, but it's classic, and the popular names on today have way lower occurrence rates than the popular names when we were kids did. I think there are just more names now!
