@lmudra I like Eloise the best. Mostly because I like those nicknames the best and I'm not fond of full names ending in the y/ie/i sound. All three are nice though.
I've been mulling over 3 names in my head for this baby and I'm just super stuck so I though I'd get some feedback to see if anyone had any good points about the names that would help make up my mind. I'm also still open to other names but I haven't come up with anything I like.
DD is Quinn DS is Chase
The names I like for this little girl are - Sloane Piper Claire - this was our girl name for Chase since we were team green. I still like it but I'm worried it's too plain or popular lately. I do love that it's pretty classic.
Which do you like and why or any recommendations based on my style?
Thanks! My DH just threw Reese on the list which I kind of like as well. I think Sloane is my favorite but he thinks it doesn't go with Quinn and isn't a Good baby name but is a good adult name. He's a funny guy.
Any middle name ideas for Sloane? We have a long 3 syllable last name so both other kids have short middle names too.
@jessykv I have a girlfriend whose a month behind me. She's naming her daughter Piper. She gets so frustrated when people immediately ask if she's naming her daughter after the orange is the new black character. I like Piper though:-)
I think Reese goes really nicely with your sibset as well and is my favorite of all 4 names mentioned. One syllable middle names I'm partial to are: Rae Rose Grace Ruth Hope Anne Belle
We have a running list. Today the top name is Makenna. Is that pretty unique? Middle name suggestions? I love Ella Grace, but I have a very unique name and love not having to worry about other people with my name.

One of my favorite preschoolers was MaKenna. Not too out there, IMO.
MaKenna Rose MaKenna Kate MaKenna Elise MaKenna Ann MaKenna Katherine MaKenna Marie MaKenna Ruth MaKenna June
MaKenna flows well, so just about anything can be used as a MN.

My cousins daughter is McKenna, but I've never heard it anywhere else. I think it's unique without being "weird".
@JessyKV my DD is Lucy Claire. Our dog is named Piper and when we got her my DD insisted her middle name also be Claire. So now she's Piper Claire (which we utilize a lot more than expected) and though she is a dog, I do love that for a little girl too haha
We were 100% set on Veda but now my husbands family has talked him into not using it because apparently VEDA is an acronym for something? I didn't want DH to tell anyone our name because I didn't care to hear opinions. Now that his family has shared their opinions with DH, Veda is out Currently were settled on Daisy Frances and were absolutely not sharing with family/friends! Hopefully since I'm 31 weeks and there's not a ton of time left, DH can keep it to himself
@momma2char I think they're full of it. It's not an acronym I could find. The Vedas are a collection of Sanskrit texts, but that's about all I could find on Veda.

I think so too. That's all I could find online- and showed my husband what I found on google and he says MIL's work uses VEDA as an acronym for something controversial (which even if that is true, I don't care at all since it has no meaning to me!) So annoying but now DH is against using it.
@momma2char I would be livid if DH shared our name with his family! Both pregnancies we have agreed to share the name only with each of our best friends, and that is mainly just so we can make sure it's not ridiculous sounding. Family is definitely out! Daisy Frances is still very nice, too, though!
Everyone in DHs family, all our close friends, and even all my students know DS's name. I only shared with my brothers in my family because my mom and sister are so judgmental and made comments on names we liked, but were not using. I have no guilt.
@kyreno11 Makenna was a contender for us too, due to it sounding like a combination of my husband's name and mine. But, I dont think we're going for it. I'm liking really short names lately.
We were undecided til like 2 weeks before DS's due date last time around. This time we nailed down names so quickly and I don't know what to make of that either!
This baby will either be Beckett Harvey (Harvey is DH's grandpa) or Everly Jo (Jo is both my and my mom's MN).
Still no clue and hardly any discussion going on in my house. My top three right now are Max, Leo and August (Augie or Gus or both). Can't decide on a long form for Max and I think we'd go with just Leo no long form. Any opinions on those three?
Re: Names?
Everly Grace (Ever)- husband doesn't like but it's my number 1
Eloise Grace (Elle, Ella, or Lo)
Emerie Grace (Riri)
