Haha...totally just realized that this is an actual poll (which I did not vote in). But I already know it's a girl, so I guess a poll is not needed. Maybe we just need a post for when people find out what sex it is? Or maybe my tired brain is over complicating things...

Team green here. We already have a boy and a girl so I'm wondering what we are having.

We're Team Green this time around. I guess the only 'issue' I see with the poll is there is no way for us to change our vote to report after the baby is here.

I've seen other Birth Months set up a separate poll for those that are Team Green to poll once the babies start arriving!

Are people putting team green because they are planning on being team green or just because they don't know the sex yet?

@kmd1106 team green is when you don't find out the sex until the birth. we have quite a few team green ladies here

Team green also always looks really big this early because for the bulk of us who didn't do NIPT we don't know yet and are waiting to vote until the anatomy scan. 

Thay said I was green last time and wished we would be again but the deal was I got to hold out this time if we would find out with the second.

Exactly. The poll (and this thread) should see a lot of action in about 2 months from now when more of us find out! Can't wait!

@AnnieKnitsALot - When she told me 'boy' for my first, I out-loud pouted in the office. I sulked as I deleted cute dress store bookmarks and unsubscribed from emails that were too hurtful to receive any more (*drama*). Now, I am hoping for another boy this time around!

@emilyalso All of the "I was so disappointed but now I love them so much!" stories really do help. Thank you! She asked me if I wanted to know the gender and I said, "Um, YES please! I'm dying to know!!" And after she said boy, my reaction was "Ohhhhhhhh okay....wow. Cool.." Such a bad recovery, haha!!

@AnnieKnitsALot I was definitely disappointed to find out DS was a boy (didn't help that I just knew he was a girl). Then I felt guilty about feeling that way. But now I am SO happy to have a little boy.

I am 100% biased because I have a son but boys are SO much fun. True the clothes stores are very lopsided but the upside is nobody expects you to have them in elaborate outfits and if they are messy everyone just rolls with it. I found it was much easier to just enjoy him and kick around in footed sleepers all day if that's what was working! 

@AnnieKnitsALot you really did hit the jackpot. I'm convinced a boy's love for his mom is different and awesome. Little man is obsessed with me. I can take something away or tell him no and he will throw a fit but then he still wants me to be the one to make him feel better. All mommy, all the time. It's a good feeling!

AnnieKnitsALot, I had a similar reaction with my first (who is a boy). But then I secretly hoped for this second baby to be a boy. Now that I know it's a girl, it's actually taking a lot of coming around--I'm excited, of course, but little boys are just SO great that I am having a hard time transitioning to planning for a girl. I just have a hard time believing that this little girl is going to be half as sweet as my little man.

Found out today that we are having another girl!  Before we found out DD kept talking about her "baby sister" and I would tell her that we weren't sure yet if she was getting a baby brother or a baby sister. Turns out she knew before I did jk

DS was the same but about a little brother. I had a feeling from the beginning that it was a boy but I was so worried that we would be wrong and he would be disappointed but he was right!
