Congrats @Trgree1712!!! I love surprise bundles, especially when there's two Hope you're recovering well mama.
I haven't seen Seth Rogans lip sync battle yet, cue youtube. My favourite is still Emma Stone's All I Do Is Win, purely for the look on Jimmy Fallon's face when she starts wrapping, and all the guys in his band are like Da Fuck? DH demanded that song be his ringtone... which is fine because I was like that's the only winning you get, you married me, you don't get to win anymore buddy.
I awoke from a nap to see not one but two new babies!! Congratulations @Trgree1712 they're adorable! Enjoy your little ones and hope everyone is doing well!
Congrats on your sweet babies @Trgree1712!!! They are just precious!

I look away for a short while and babies appear. What's it going to be like in a few weeks when babies start popping out like gangbusters?!? Seriously though, huge congrats @Trgree1712 on your sweet twins. A-dorable.
Yeah @Trgree1712!! Saw your name as most recent thread and thought well... she's having twins, MA? She wouldn't have commented on there and betrayed the rules... could it be??? BABIES!!!! 2 perfect ones at that. Hooray mama!!
I'm dealing with three year old bedtime hell that's been going on for months but has gotten worse the past week or so. Nothing works. I have literally no down time between the time she finally passes out and when I pass out. It's not fair.
One long day at work equals many Randoms pages that I've missed! Tried to skim and love it where I could but have the following to add:
Totally love the idea for a weekly appointment thread. With a 09/13 EDD, it's nice to read what others are going through as it helps me to know what to expect. For example, I know I am doing the GBS and a cervical exam at my next appointment and never thought they may he uncomfortable of painful.
This is probably better on an UO, but I hate Cavity eggs In fact, I probably haven't eaten one in at least 5 years! Reese's on the other hand...I'll have seconds!
@redmar thanks for the reminder to spend time with SO. My FI was headed out to see his buddies and I convinced him that we should have sex before he left. A little quality time and now I'm not cranky that I'm home alone on a Friday night!
Totally want to see Sausage Party - I'm not expecting anything award winning but hopefully at least a few good laughs!!
@Trgree1712 Congrats on those two precious bundles! Such cuties!
@Trgree1712 congratulations the twins are adorable!!
I don't know how I'm going to make it through the weekend. We are currently in a heat advisory and it's not expected to get below 90 tonight. We do not have AC
I really have no idea how you ladies with kids are doing this whole third tri thing. I mean obviously it can be done or else everyone would only have one, but I give you all the props in the world! It takes all my energy to get MYSELF in and out of the bed these days @PSUBecky23
The heat situation in NYC has me literally hating life. I tried to go to the pool this afternoon because all I wanted to do was not feel like I was going to pass out, but I had to turn around after walking one block! Maybe tomorrow...

I'm with you girl. Zzzzzzzz
mine also plays this new fun game that involves locking all the doors and then shutting them. So I have now spent the last 45 minutes trying to get into my bedroom. The screw driver I need is actually in my room so that's helpful. I got one screw out of the door knob but can't seem to get the other one out bc I stripped it from the last time she did this. Toddlers are awesome
oh and my dog is locked in there and crying to get out. I bet I'll open it to a nice shit on my carpet
@smallinetta I'm thankful that two kids was the number we decided on. Because I don't know how people deal with pregnancy and more than one. I'm barely handling it.
@seitzy3 I've had to unscrew many door knobs due to Reese. Hope you get into your room soon.
I'm off to put Reese back in her bed for the 45th time. She's suddenly lost the ability to speak, walk or respond to me in any way.
@seitzy3@PSUBecky23 what little spit fire girls you have! My DD2 really keeps me on my toes these days, but (for me anyways) the more times you go through being pregnant and dealing with kids, the easier it seems to get. I remember being pregnant with my second and I was always next level exhausted and could barely function if I didn't have a nap.
@frogdog06 baby Layla is beautiful! I love baby burritos.
Wife to A; Mama to C (2009), N (2011), H (2014) & baby F due 09/16/16
On the topic of PP sex, I want to add that if it is painful, don't ignore it. I kept thinking it would get better, and I just needed more time to heal. After 3-4 months, DH finally convinced me to go to the OB, and I had granulation scar tissue that had to be treated with silver nitrate. The treatment was AWFUL but it fixed the problem! I'm so glad, I didn't ignore it longer.
Oh, you too? I had that scar tissue too....the treatment was....man. Freaking hurt like a mother. I really, really don't want that to happen again!!!!!!
It was so bad! That is my worst fear about labor this time!
Really? I had to have the silver nitrate and it was NBD, especially compared with the pain of sex.
We didn't have sex for a year. And I dont mean, "I had painful sex for a year." I mean it hurt too much to try to have sex. It's so awful. And you get to this point where it's hard to know whether it's physical or mental because it's hard to get yourself in the mood when you KNOW it's going to hurt.
I expressed concern to my doctor about 6 months PP and I wish I hadn't waited so long. I did several months of physical therapy. Obviously I got to the point where I could have sex. It was never painless, but it got to a point where the pleasure outweighed the pain.
I really very strongly encourage everyone to seek physical therapy. Especially anyone who tears. I will be seeking it out again no matter my delivery method.
That is terrible...the treatment hurt more than labor did to me, so I can't imagine how bad sex was hurting for you! I definitely encourage everyone to talk to their OB if they are having pain. I was embarrassed to talk to friends about it, and when I finally did (around 12 weeks or so), a friend said she didn't think it was normal, but I just thought maybe my tear was worse. Then after another month, DH finally made me call!

Spitfire is exactly a word I use to describe her. And I'm happy she has such a personality on her. But not when I want to go to bed.
@PSUBecky23 absolutely! I meant spit fire in the best way that's what I call my Hanna too. I definitely feel for you with the bedtime struggles. When I've had them, it was by far my biggest struggle with parenthood.

This is why I had to give up my, I mean, DS1's nap. He's so much better at night when he doesn't have a nap, but a royal PITA if he does. So much for "sleep when the baby sleeps" with number 2.

Me too!!!! Labor wasn't bad for me at all, I made it to an 8 and got the Epi out of fear of pushing. Not saying it was easy, but im able to handle that type of pain a lot better than sharp pain. I cried during the nitrate. Not boohoo but I definitely couldn't talk during it. But I would think after a 4th degree tear @KimmySchmidt most things wouldn't hurt to bad, comparatively.
Where are you standing at the moment on vaginal vs c section @KimmySchmidt?
The thread title, "Eating, Sleeping, Pooping", got me to thinking, it's kind of weird that at the end of third trimester, moms do what their babies are about to do. Eat. Sleep. Poop.
@frogdog06 What a beauty Cutest little burrito with quite the head of hair! Glad you guys are home and hopefully you're recovering in a much more comfortable atmosphere!!
Hi all...just stopping in to say hi after a very long day of working in my classroom and feeling like I got nothing accomplished...I hope you're all well and wish I had time or energy to read through everything
It has taken me all day to catch up!! So many things I wanted to respond to but I can't brain any more. This weekend is my last weekend at job #1. Since many of my customers are museum workers, today was my last day with many of them since they don't work on the weekends. About an hour before I was off, the director plus three more of the big important people from one of the museums stopped into the cafe to drop off a card from them with a BRU gift card. They all demanded hugs and also demanded to be informed when the baby is born as well as pictures and when I've recovered they want to meet him. It made me feel so loved and appreciated. Especially because they did more than the people at my own museum.
