@bnsmith85 I actually don't know. I tried to Google from bed last night, but I was too tired to hold my phone. I'll look into it now because I'm certainly not going to get much accomplished at work today. :-/
@AllyTheKid Yeah, I had to walk to/from my car a few times yesterday, so maybe that's it. It seems crazy to me that it could cause issues - but last time I was pregnant, I was due in December, so triple digit heat wasn't as much of a factor.
@ibabyloveb87 Thx - I'm doing my best to stay hydrated. I neverrrrr skip a meal, but my mom had surgery yesterday, then I went straight to work and had 4 meetings in an afternoon. It definitely won't be happening again!
@F47 - here's what my google found via webMD for anemia symptoms. Sounds pretty similar.. .though I'm sure those could come from other things too. If you continue to feel that way, maybe call your MD... and try upping the iron intake to see if it helps?
NO GOOGLING! Dizziness and lightheadedness are symptoms of a billion different things from low blood sugar to brain cancer, do you really want to fall down that rabbit hole?

I second this! No googling! Every time I Google I end up just freaking myself out and making myself feel worse.
If you're smart about your googling, it's not an issue. I think it's an easy way to educate yourself about a possibility and determine if you feel it's worth it to call your MD about. I google stuff like this any time it comes up and have never walked away thinking "damn it... it's cancer"

My coworker had pain in her foot a while back. We went to WebMD just to see what would be her diagnosis. Multiple Sclerosis.
Yeah....no. She just had a sore foot. lol
But, I'm guilty of using Google to determine if I should be concerned or not. I think what I'm really going to do is leave work, and go plant myself on the couch. The only downside is that this is hubby's short day, so he'll be leaving work at 2 to pick up DS and bring him home. So...after 2 any chance of relaxing is slim to none.
I am just beat this week. I am having so much trouble doing anything because I'm too tired to function - but I can't sleep so well, either. Partly it may be the a/c (although we have the situation under control at the moment so it's not much warmer than usual) or the stress from it (although my husband is handling everything so I'm not really that stressed). I think it's mostly just what my body's doing right now. And yet... as tired as I am during the day, I have the hardest time going to sleep earlier OR sleeping in (I wake up before the alarm and lay there tired until I eventually get up - and feed exhausted.)
I have been ravenously hungry the past two days, and my bump has grown since HDBD. Baby is so high in my abdomen that I can get out of breath sitting down. This is getting ridiculous and I still have an entire trimester to go.
@RainMira9e@ball4768 I think baby must being going through a major growth spurt this week, I totally relate to both of these comments. At the end of the day I'm almost as exhausted as I was during the first trimester, and I can't seem to get enough sleep! I've also been ravenous and I totally feel baby higher up and it seems like the bump is bigger and heavier lately. Except today, I got so full after breakfast, and somehow I'm hungry but my stomach is still full at the same time? Wtf?!
Hubby and I are in San Diego for comic con. I cannot take this heat. I am dripping sweat and am so exhausted.
Worst part was, while using the restroom today, I had about 5 minutes of spotting. Freaks me out every time I see a little pink, and I'm 400 miles away from my Dr.
@ignoscemihi ... here are some directions I found:
Make a Coconut-Oil Treatment
To make your own scalp treatment, put 3 to 5 tablespoons of coconut oil in a small bowl. The amount of oil to use depends on the length of your hair. Microwave the oil for 30 seconds. Stir well, then heat a few seconds more until the oil has melted fully. Let the oil cool a bit, then massage it into your scalp and the roots of your hair. Use a plastic comb to work the oil through your hair. Wrap your tresses in a towel or shower cap, then let the oil soak in for two hours. Finish by shampooing as usual.

As long as you aren't experiencing any cramping you likely don't need to worry, but DO plant your bottom down somewhere and rest! Stay cool and hydrate yourself, all that walking around is undoubtedly putting a strain on your body!
@MrsHudson2014 OMG I'm super jealous you're at Comic Con. I would love to go and have plans to take DD when she's older and can handle massive crowds a little better (she's 7 now, so I'm thinking at least 13 lol). I love watching the videos and seeing photos and the panels!! Oh, the panels!! And costumes! (The photos, and costumes, and panels, oh my! lol) Hope you're having fun and somehow finding ways to rest up while enjoying the nerd-gasm that is SDCC!!

@F47 I am also 99% certain that I'm just going to continue to bitch about it as opposed to just NOT doing it. Will power hasn't been a strong trait of mine this go around.
I am raging. Like ANGRY. Not at anything in particular, I just want to pull out my hair. I haven't come up with anything significant to contribute to the other threads today because of it. And on top of being irrationally ragey/angry/irritated/anxious, my ribs hurt so bad. I'm out of room until the next growth spurt. Woe is me.

Yesterday I was super irritable. It's Comic-Con week (@mrshudson2014,hope you're hydrating! today is supposed to be hotter!) and DH and I carpool because we both work downtown, and because it's Comic-Con week, traffic is horrendous. Right next to DH's work is the set for Mr. Robot so it's especially crazy. Yesterday, I texted him "on my way to pick you up" he said "call me when you can, i'm walking around." So I did, and he hung up on me TWICE.
I finally got to him, but this was after like circling the madness of the streets.... and he comes up and is like "check out my new gf" and shows me a pic of this woman dressed in pasties for comic-con (granted she's 65 but looks 30)... I was so upset, I told him not to talk to me on the drive home. I just angry cried the whole way, then laughed when we got home at how ridiculous I was being.
Oh symptom for the week: yesterday I went to spin class and felt like the baby was so so so low... it was uncomfortable pedaling out of my saddle... I bought myself a pregnancy support belt on Amazon, so I can wear it to my workouts from now on.
@annabenanna I wear my support belt while running and it REALLY helps. I didn't think it would do much because it's just elastic and velcro, but it holds your tummy up and steady so there isn't so much pressure. It's like a belly sports bra.
I have another "symptom" - is anyone else's LO kicking them in the butthole from the inside? Literally? Cause mine is. And it is the strangest, not okay, feeling, ever.

Yes, this has happened to me a few times. It's a very weird feeling.

Ya'll going to spin class and running while I'm over here like...
LOL!!! I've been forcing myself to go workout. It's not been easy.
I used to go 3-4x a week, and now am down to 2x a week. I have a countdown thing on my Google Calendar that I actually just started this week:
Workout 1 of 22 - DONE Workout 2 of 22 - DONE
I figured I have 11 weeks go before my due date.... and if i can look at it as 22 workouts, it feels more doable than "workout 2x a week". Maybe just the way my brain works. lol.
Anybody feel definitive hiccups and can help discern them from kicks/punches/rolls? I can never tell the difference in what he's up to lol but it'd be fun to know like "oh that was definitely hiccups!"

Hiccups are rhythmic and repetitive, where all the other movement is random.

+1 for feeling ragey lately for no good reason. And then I switch to feeling depressed because I was so angry. It gets better...eventually! Butthole kicks are the weirdest and I feel them all the time! I never experienced that with DD, so it must have something to do with this baby's position. ETA: words because I posted prematurely.

Also, this site had a different recipe that doesn't involve coconut oil, but may be worth a try since it references your issue: https://thebeautygypsy.com/coconut-oil-scalp-treatment/Mommy to Elizabeth (6/18/09), preemie at 34 weeks
