@MojieJo this pregnancy has been way harder for me, but I think most of it is having a toddler. I don't feel THAT bad, I just could use a lot more naps and rest and less "omg what are you putting in the toilet?!"
Was just browsing through Carters.com & they have put out some of this years My First Halloween, Thanksgiving, & Christmas outfits. DD1 was born in September of 2013 and I'm now remembering just how precious she looked in all of her First outfits while still being pretty much a newborn. At least there is a bright spot to being due in September and living through the hell of summer heavily pregnant! Lol!
I'm so annoyed with my mother and I don't know if it's just hormones or what, but I've about had enough. I told her that we weren't happy with our stroller and looked at other ones. She said "maybe you won't need a stroller until the spring anyways". I said "what? Why?". She says "well because it will be snowing". I explained that you use the stroller in malls and grocery stores too and that we can still go for walks in the winter on the sidewalks. Her response from her email: "now just remember...you are moving and keeping warm, whereas my little grand baby just sits/lies there freezing. I would see these little kids on a sleigh being pulled and their little faces don't look too happy". Ugh. I'm not irresponsible. I'm not going to put my kid in freezing cold frostbite inducing temperatures. Jeeze.
@UnwritteN12 sorry to hear about Elle's swimmers ear poor girl. I used to get that a ton when I was little. Sounds like you have it under control with pain relievers!
@RG1 you def need a stroller. What's the deal with the babytrend one? Are you able to return it? I would def see if you could at least exchange it!
We went in and asked today and they said we can return it because "it's such a bad product" haha. So we looked at some graco ones that were so easy to fold and light. We will def be getting one of these!!
We have a graco travel system and love it! Glad they're letting you exchange it. We have one of those zip around fleece car seat covers and it worked perfect when DS would fall asleep in the car, we would just zip that up and snap him into the stroller and roll into the mall/store.
I bought a baby trend jogging stroller used. I'm now second-guessing that decision So...best double jogging strollers? I currently have a citi mini gt and I absolutely love it. Rubber tires and no fixed wheel in the front...it's not *technically* a jogger, but it's been amazing for me!

We got the "expedition" or something. It didn't drive straight and was very difficult to fold and large and heavy when folded. I had to use both hands and all my strength to even push the buttons in to get it folded, and then a lot of effort to fold. We tried to store it in the closet and it was too big to fit. And the closet is empty. So that's what prompted us to look at others!
@RG1 this is just the start my dear. I had a December baby in maine. My mother and MIL would always be concerned that I wasn't bundling him up enough... my mother never steps on my toes but she would even feel his toes when we would come inside because she didn't trust he was warm enough. Can't tell ya how many times you'll just have to let her know that baby is comfortable and you've got this... but I agree, it's incredibly annoying
@Thscary ... I love taking pics of my husband and son but hate posting them on Facebook because within seconds my MIL will comment "there are my boys!!!" Blech.
Followup iron test and followup ultrasound for placental lake later today. Lakes mean nothing, but I overgoogled it yesterday and of course found some super rare conditions they can maybe sorta kinda be associated with. Stupid Anna. Hoping for the best!!

Yup. My MIL in response to photos of Reese - "awww, I love my granddaughter so much." You have a funny way of showing it, lady.

Ahh! Over googling has been a very big problem of mine. I've been dying for the last five years of various diseases.
I'm joining the air conditioner decided to stop working group. What is up with the Ac units this year? It's supposed to reach 100 today so really hoping that we can get it fixed pronto! Also had a dr appt yesterday and got lectured by the doctor for "insufficient weight gain." Not really sure what else to do because I feel like I eat all the time anyways.
@MrsVoorhees good luck with your glucose test! And @AnnaS930 hope your follow ups are good!
Love tits to everyone else as I work on catching up on all the posts I've missed!
@AnnaS930 Quit your googling. update us when you can! Hoping it's completely a non-issue.
DD got up at 3:30 today and wouldn't go back to sleep. Because honestly, why would you want to when mama is clearly in such a great mood and totally just wants to snuggle while you squirm? I'm seriously dragging and I can't have coffee because of my test today. Booooooo
I feel your pain @MrsVoorhees. Reese's sleep has been all over the place lately. I think we had two wakeups last night. She just wanted a quick rock or to be covered up but obviously pregnant me can't get back to sleep right away.

She's been getting up once a night for about a week, but it's been at midnight every night so I have plenty of time to get back to sleep. But today....today it was 3:30 so I only had 1 1/2 hours left to sleep and knew I was going to be too awake to get there. Why? Why toddler???

Bought myself coffee and a blueberry muffin this morning. It's making me ecstatically happy, as in I can feel the endorphins and happiness coursing through me. Or maybe that's just the caffeine?
I don't know how you all without AC are handling it, I think I would legit pass out.
Ac is fixed $500 later Landry's rash is finally starting to clear up And he slept from 9to 6!!! Fx things are going to be better the next few days. We have some serious cabin fever
@MrsVoorhees@PSUBecky23 night before last I think Landry slept a total of 5 hours, 8:30-11 and then fought sleep the rest of the night and only slept while rocking. Was up for the day at 4:30. Toddlers suck lol
@AnnaS930 my love tit is for support. Hoping things go great on the ultrasound. I'll be thinking of you and your LO and looking for your update. Good luck!
I realized this morning that I completely forgot to do the TDAP shot since they don't do it at the OB's office. I'm 31w5d and hoping it's not too late! I think we'll be going today or tomorrow.
Sleepless toddler moms, I feel a fraction of your pain today. Insomnia hit me hard last night, then after I finally fell asleep, the roofers next door decided that 6 am was the best time to start hammering away. Currently sitting at my ob appointment wondering if I'm going to end up falling asleep in the waiting room chair...

I was told to get it before delivery I'm sure you have time
Thanks for the love ladies. Last night was a never ending night between Elle being in pain and me not being able to get comfortable and sleep more than 2 hours at a time. She's doing better this morning though thank goodness.
@lovelylauren86 - Glad you got your AC fixed and LO is feeling better! To all the other mommas dealing with AC issues, I hope they're fixed asap!!
@blondie080300 - So tickled to hear that everything is working out the way you want it to!
@RG1 - Boundary-Stompers. That's what I refer to people as who just can't mind their own damn business and always know what's best for my kids over DH and I (aka my in-laws and sometimes my mother).

Recommendation is by 36 weeks so you have time to build the antibodies from it before baby comes. So you still have a few weeks.
@UnwritteN12 I'm always very snarky back to her so she responded with "I know you'll be a great mom. You know more than I did. I just winged it". So she comes in with the compliment way too late. I'm clearly going to focus on the fact that you think I'm irresponsible and not that you casually stated id be a great mom. And @Thscary and @AnnaS930 I can't handle the "my grand baby"... It's like it makes it more personal and insulting to her that I even considered going outside in the winter time with a child since its heeeeeeeer grandchild. Barf
@MrsVoorhees I feel you on the sleep this week. McKenna is still teething, and she's woken up at 1 am every day this week except for last night. And that's only because we finally gave in and gave her Ibuprofen. We had stopped because we were worried we had been giving it to her for too long.
@camichael84 I think she may be getting her canines, finally. I hope that's what it is. Because I hope she has teeth. Lol she didn't get her first tooth until 13 months and it's something I stay paranoid about because her teeth have been way behind schedule each time, and because I'm part hillbilly and was missing one of my bottom teeth and needed an implant. I don't want to pass those genes on to my babies.
I was all "I'm going to teach DD not to be afraid or embarrassed to talk about her body parts" so when we point out our hands and eyes and nose and so on, if she points at my chest, I say "boob" instead of "chest". I know breast would be better but honestly, who calls them that? So now, she likes to point them out all the time. Every chance. I had on a Vneck top in Target and the sweet cashier gave her a sticker. DD pulls my shirt over, sticks the sticker on my boob and says, "BOOBIE!!" And smiles so proudly. Luckily I don't get embarrassed easily.

Haha agreed with the comment of who even calls boobs breasts. Me and DH went to a prenatal breastfeeding class (or boobfeeding) and whenever he'd ask a question, he'd keep saying boob and she's respond by saying breast in her answer. "Can a baby overeat? what if he just hangs out at the boob when he's full and keeps eating". It was amusing. I don't think he realized he was doing it. I also don't embarrass easy so I didn't care.
2nd random of the day. I climbed into the backseat of my car this morning to unbuckle DD for daycare, she looks me straight in the eye, giggles and says "boys boys boys!" Not sure where she picked that one up, but I'm almost snorting with laughter thinking about how DH is going to react to that story.
All I want is to leave work, go to our movie theater with huge leather reclining chairs, watch Finding Dory, eat a pan of brownies with ice cream on top and go to bed. Is that so much to ask?!

@blondie080300 yay for placenta moving up!!! That's great news
