I appreciate the feedback and it makes me feel better to hear it from you ladies. I have an appointment on Thursday with my OB and I'll discussing everything with him. At this point, I'm taking it easy, sleeping in the recliner, and taking the RX for the pneumonia.
@RedMar love your theory. We'd obviously be happy with another girl but we're hoping for a boy. I have some friends that are thinking boy as well based on how I'm carrying and their "feelings".
Add me to the breech club. I will be 29 weeks tomorrow and little miss was breech at my u/s last Thursday. I have an anterior placenta and was feeling what I thought was a foot in my upper abdomen. Was disappointed to find it was actually her head the whole time. I definitely feel some somersaulting going on in there today, so I am hoping her head has moved lower. I can't feel it in the same spot anymore. Gonna try the spinning babies exercises also. I'm actually afraid to do any abdominal workouts right now because I want to make sure everything is loosened up enough for her to move. I realize that's probably overthinking it, but oh well. I can't remember when DD1 turned head down.
I was sitting on the toilet and had let out all my pee but was just sitting there cause I was bored. Then the baby kicked right on my bladder and some more pee popped out. I couldn't help but laugh. Good thing there was no one else in the bathroom
I don't know if anyone remembers but a while ago I mentioned trying to find baby's heartbeat with my stethoscope. Well I never ended up trying, but I was just sitting around bored and thought "why not?" Since she was kicking up a storm. Well I found it! AND she was pushing back against the stethoscope the whole time. Day made!!! So awesome to hear it outside of the doctors office and I have a feeling I'll be doing that daily now
My husband is PMSing. Not being able to drink right now is unfair.
Dude mine has been stomping around the house all evening muttering and pouting. Day 2 of his diet... I'm about to check into a hotel #itsnotmyfaultyouletyourselfgo
@Thscary - With my son, I wasn't really able to tell position until the last month of pregnancy. I was able to feel 2 solid bumps and the doctor said that the lower one was the head and the higher one was the body. At this point in pregnancy, the baby can still move quite a bit so it isn't too worthwhile to get concerned about position. My son stayed transverse for a long time until he got too big (which too a while since I do have a large frame). He eventually got positioned head down, but it was never centered - not even when I went into labor. I am pretty sure that this baby is still transverse.
I have no idea how people are like "oh, the baby just punched/kicked/whatevered my whatever" It all feels like an alien trying to burst out of me the way a baby bird hatches out of an egg.
Most of the movement I'm feeling is lateral, so I'm assuming the baby is transverse at this point, but I don't have xray vision, so what the hell do I know.
Our local outdoor pool opened up, so I just went for a swim. I haven't swam in probably 10 years and forgot how much of a workout it is! After about 30 mins my calf cramped so I called it a night. But it was enjoyable before that!
@PSUBecky23@lovelylauren86@abberson Jumping on the PMSing DH train over here! What the heck is going on today? He's been so grumpy ever since he came home I haven't even told him about finding baby's heartbeat this afternoon. He's not worthy of knowing such amazingness right now So I just sit here in the other room and bump away and let him be Grumpy McGrumperson, I'll keep my happy little secrets to myself, thank you very much!
From what I was told about spinning babies, or more so inversions, is that it's not highly recommended in mid third trimester. Because if baby is already head down then we could get them stuck in a weird position. I don't know how much truth there is to that but my prenatal yoga teacher is adamant about no inversions once I hit 34ish weeks. @MrsVoorhees
@PSUBecky23 My daughter did that to me once, too. Only she (silently) reached out and touched my arm which, of course, sent me flailing! She's lucky I didn't smack her out of instinct, haha!
Can I rant here too??? Well to late if I can't because here I go. I'm at my dr appt today for my monthly check up and this nurse says "oh where is your little one today?" My "little one" is 5. I said, "At home with her sisters." She says, oh how old is your oldest?" I said "12." Then she says "Oh that's old enough. That's nice." I just said "uh huh." All the while I'm thinking "ok heffer what kind of response is that?? Of course she's freakin old enough because I would certainly leave my children without proper supervision?!?? I don't know what kind of impression she has of me but I know I am most certainly well kept. Man some humans are seriously ridiculous. Not sure where her head was at today, but she needs to just be an OB nurse if she can't be constructive with her in her own head with patients. Ok rant over! Thanks for listening!
lol @PSUBecky23 mine did that three nights ago. I almost shit my pants because she was literally breathing in my face and whispered "I'm coming to lay with you". I screamed so loud it scared her and husband then she started crying. Took us 2.5 hours to get her back to sleep.
(Jumping ahead because I've slacked off and haven't been keeping up)
I am 28 weeks today, and the second bullet in the week-by-week fact is,
Baby's lungs are mature enough that if born now, he or she'd probably survive. Wow!
Does that creep anyone else out besides me? Like, way to make mention that my baby might die! Let's stick to vegetable-based size comparisons and development of eyebrows, or at least phrase it a bit better.
Anyone else have trouble finding the right foundation for their skin? So annoying! I go back and forth between Sephora and Target brands...dealing with finding a good foundation on my break today!
This is so dumb. But there is a commercial for Sabra hummus where they talk about making it the "Unofficial Meal". There's a line in there that says something about fitting another meal in "Maybe call it 'linner' or heck, we can even call it 'Josephine'!"
I hate this commercial. Simply because DD2's name is Josephine. No. No you cannot call your "unofficial meal" Josephine you buttheads. That's my daughter's name.
@UnwritteN12 That commercial is annoying to me too!
And thank you!! Its going to be my first time living on my own, I actually still live with my mom right now. (mainly because of going to college in a different city it never made sense for me and my fiance to get our own place until I was finished)
Skipping ahead because I missed two days. LO fell asleep in the car after swim lessons, so I am trapped. Ate some lunch and am now watching my belly bounce as little girl kicks away. That kind of makes being stuck in the car worth it.
also, solidarity with those of you whose DH's are grumpy. Mine hasn't been "grumpy" per se, but seemed bewildered when, after the first two things he said to me this morning began with "did you do..." **I** got grumpy. I mean, let's have some common courtesy and at least start with "good morning" before we dive in to following up on whether or not I've done 1,000,000,001 things for you. (By the way, the answer is yes. Yes I did. With a toddler. And while pregnant. And while working. Oh, and I also did not scream about the fact that you left a sink full of dishes sitting while you watched tv and I struggled to get LO down last night. Blergh).

I recently bought Tarte Rainforest of the Sea brand (suuuuch a stupid name) and I really like it! I highly recommend using the translucent powder with it though.
Re: June Randoms Thread
@PSUBecky23 I can't help but think you're having a boy after reading your posts. Your pregnancy reminds me a lot of mine with DS.
@blondie080300 love the name
@LakeR2014 so sweet! He's a keeper!

My creeper of a kid comes wandering into my room at 3:30 last night. Doesn't say anything. Just stands next to my bed staring at me. WTF kid?
I normally wake up to her door opening so this was a first. I must have been sleeping hard.
