  • @JDMRS not crazy. I'm thinking about buying 14 tests and just doing one a day  :o I wish I was joking.
  • Loading the player...
  • @JDMRS Damn it, I could have tested this morning and not been the only one. Now I just have to make through the rest of today without testing because I definitely do not always use FMU.

    @lilylover27 Sorry, lady.

@cmmiller531 I have no advice on when to test, but GL when you do.

7DPO and I have every symptom ever, so ya know I'm in for a fun day.

  • @reneeannemm glad to have a cycle buddy!

Confession - I tested this morning with one of the Easy@Home brand sticks. I knew it would be BFN this early either way but did anyway for some crazy reason. I am going to try to hold out to test again until Friday.

@natsfan2442 I am going to hold out until Sunday , which is when AF is due. I hope can hold out. I need to chillax a bit. Other than cramping and a headache, I feel pretty normal.
  • I'm still stuck in a black hole of Google as to why my OPKS are almost ALL positive since CD 8. Like seriously, that is driving me NUTS.
  • edited June 2016
@iceandsnowflakes29 Wish I could help you! I have no idea. I get + after I've ovulated, or at least what looks like it could be. Sometimes I think the OPKs have given more to be confused about than help.

Edit: so now I stop using them once I get the first positive result.

  • I think I need to switch brands next month, start temping for my entire cycle, and amp up the BD schedule. Depending upon when O happened, my timing might only be -4 & -1
  • @lilylover 27 Sorry about the BFN

So I'm sitting at 11 DPO (I think?  Who knows with this cycle) and decided to test this morning.  BFN.  :(
So... why do my nipples hurt?  ha!
I'm awaiting AF at this point, but not sure what the situation will be.  If I am 11 DPO, I'd guess she'll arrive this weekend.  If I'm not that far along (which is also a total possibility due to the abomination that is my current chart), it could come next weekend?  Super sucks that if I did O later than FF is saying that my chart is a bust because the BD schedule is nowhere near matching up.

Better luck to all of you this cycle!!!  :)

    I'm sorry @lilylover27

@dpjennifer YES to the nipples, wtf.  I'm also 11dpo and the last day or two, have had really sore nipples.  When I was pregnant my boobs did feel sore and heavy but I don't remember the nipple soreness...
  • @Aera11 Yeah I don't normally get nipple/breast soreness much for AF.  But I did have a LOT of it (def the nipples) when I was PG.  So I was optimistic.  Now it's like... ok so I'm apparently just BSC.  :)

A glass of wine sounds so good right now @lilylover27.  I hate that I rarely get my period on my own, so all this SS is confusing me because it's like "maybe it's AF" or maybe I am just crazy?!  I never break out, ever, and my face looks like a 13 year olds.  I don't remember if this happened with the last two pregnancies, so it's got me thinking AF.  And the watery CM/discharge, no idea what that means.  I may google it later.

  • So I had a BFN this morning at 6 dpo (obviously, I was crazy haha). I've been having a couple of symptoms here and there, but nothing definite of course. This afternoon, though I got one I've never seen before and didn't have last time. May be TMI, but I had a lot of creamy, white discharge. Not like infection or anything, just discharge. Of course Google searches turn up it could be something, it could be nothing. But of course, just adds to the crazy!

  • Rando question...has anyone had a cycle where your temps didn't rise like usual and stayed fairly close to, but above the line. I'm not really thinking it means anything, but is just strange and out of the norm for me. Pics to show what I mean.

  • @Taggarab I haven't seen that before. Anything environmental change lately? Amount of covers on your bed? A/C temperature?  I'm not sure if I agree with the CL. FF rarely  gives me one and when it does it is usually wrong.
  • @Taggarab  CHs  not CL. I need more coffee.
  • @taggarab I think FF has your O date wrong on the May 26th chart. I have a feeling those high pre-O temps are throwing off the calculations. What happens if you hide those temps on dates 3,4 & 7? Those temps are outliers in my opinion, anything that made those temps so extreme?

If this cycle isn't successful I might consider OPKs to give FF a better chance of noticing your O more accurately.
  • @iceandsnowflakes29 No changes at all.

@BornReady I disregarded those temps and it didn't change O date, but do I need to ask it to recalculate or would it to that on its own? Also, erratic temps before O are fairly common for me. I am usually up and down both before and after O, though I do stay above after O. Does that makes sense? Here is with those temps disregarded

  • @Taggarab I am sitting in that exact situation right now.  I’ve no clue what the issue is, but I’ll share my charts in case they help you out in some way… or if someone has any insight!

My nice chart from March (ignore the open circles, I temp at various times due to a shifting work schedule):

My current chart with some weird slow-rise jump all over the place pattern.

I still tend to think it's wrong. It might also be that your only cm noted is on that day? Oh the joys of temping!
  • @dpjennifer I see that you're 12dpo. Have you tested?
  • @Taggarab @dpjennifer Wish I could help, but I'm not that good at charts and I can't understand Fahrenheit at all. I will say my pre-O temps are fairly erratic and I have had a slow rise pattern on a couple charts, as well as one fallback rise last cycle, so my charts aren't especially comparable to each other.

8DPO tested this morning like a jerk so I wouldn't be thinking about it all day - obvs bfn, so hopefully I can do something else today. Also left a rude note on 7DPO, for when I start comparing next cycle.

  • @BornReady Would you believe that that's literally the only CM I had this cycle? Our bodies just want to totally mess with us. As to the OPKs, I did them for 2 cycles a while back, but was trying to save money by just HIO around the the several days when I typically O.

  • @iceandsnowflakes29 I tested yesterday and got BFN.  So I'm guessing I'm either waiting for AF or I actually ovulated later (CD 26) in which case our timing was awful and I'm waiting for AF...

@reneeannemm So sometimes you have a slow-rise pattern and sometimes it just jumps up?  I'm just concerned because mine (regardless of what time I take my temperature) jumps up to 98 degree fahrenheit or above (which it's supposed to do I guess?) and stays there except a few erratic temps.  But this month it went above my usual cover line (97.5 / 97.6) without hitting 98 for days!  And I've heard that lower BBT in luteal phase can lead to higher percentage for MC.  So, was wondering if I'd done something.  Guess we'll see what next month shows!

  • @dpjennifer Yep, sometimes. I *think* I had a slow rise pattern the two cycles I charted before the miscarriage (but I don't have those charts) and I had it the first two after, as well. My temps reached pretty high by 4 or 5 DPO, but it was never quite clear if I had ovulated until I got there.

Time before this one, it jumped up and then fell like a degree below coverline the second day and then jumped right back up. I have no usual coverline.

This cycle I had a huge dip on ovulation day and then it had a huge jump like they tell you it is supposed to. I was travelling this FW, so I don't know. I'll know if I hit my 16 day luteal phase if that really was O day. I think this link will take you to my profile ?

my "symptoms" so far are - fatigue , excessive thirst, cramps, creamy CM, and I'm convinced I can smell the HCG in my urine.
