Heartburn....more like heartflame, heartblaze. I need to figure out what the triggers are. So far that I know of are starchy foods and anything involving bread, biscuits, etc.,
OMG.....Charlie horses. INTENSE debilitating Charlie horses every night!! I wake up my sometimes more than one muscle in my leg completely locks up and it's the most intense pain ever. Last night I woke everyone up in the house because my inner thigh had a Charlie horse.
I had heartburn so bad last night I threw up last night- and as I was throwing up I was also peeing my pants. Oh.so.fun.
So, I think I have reflux? I don't feel any sort of burning sensation, but a few times I have thrown up coffee with no warning. And yesterday, I started coughing and almost puked.
I am having waves of nausea and heartburn in 3rd tri too. Also getting the bad taste in my mouth again that I had all through 1st tri. @rebelone I haven't figured out all my reflux triggers either, but sadly I know chocolate is one of them :-(

Yeah- that sounds like reflux. For me it happens when I burp it comes up and then burns my throat. It's so icky.

Ditto... Vomit burps galore. Heartburn when I eat the usual suspects: red sauce and other high acidity foods.
Also the hemorrhoids. Holy pain. And I got my first Charlie horse in years last night. It was so bad I jumped out of bed screaming. Somehow DH didn't wake up but my calf is sore today. Blah.
I had one major calf cramp the other night, but thankfully nothing since. I had trouble sleeping during the holidays but now that I'm back to work it's been better - I guess I just need to be very tired. I also get short of breath when climbing one flight of stairs, or if I need to bend over. If baby is sitting high in the uterus, I get so full I can barely eat. Alternatively, if he sits low I get super hungry but have to pee all the time!
All of these are mild though and I don't mind them. Baby has been kind to me this whole pregnancy thus far.
@RoseShadow873 like choking on something? I'm producing a lot of saliva that occasionally makes me feel like I'm choking but I find that all of my symptoms worsen when I have heartburn....and EVERYTHING gives me heartburn. It gets so bad I get nauseous and short of breath, but the nausea is nothing compared to first tri. I figure it's just a good reminder that we're almost there!

Yeah just choking on saliva or water. I choked so bad on just saliva that I threw up in the garbage can. It made me feel pretty smart. I actually got heartburn for the first time in my life too. It really is awful!

Definitely been there. I have to concentrate on breathing if I'm very active...I blame my short torso!
Carpal Tunnel. Ugh. I had it with DS in the 3rd tri and it's starting to creep back with this pregnancy. I wore braces at night but do you know hard it is to pee and wipe 5 times a night with those damn things?!?
Pelvis pain out this world. It felts like the lady bits are pulling apart when trying to stand up. Last night as I was rolling over I felt and heard a large pop. It hurt like hell
Is choking a symptom? Or is it just me forgetting how to swallow?
I get this with every pregnancy and always feel embarrassed by it. I choke on saliva and when drinking stuff. And then it's like I can't overcome it. I think maybe I hypervenilate or something when it happens, feels like it takes me a good 30 minutes to breathe normally again and it scares me every time. It also makes me pee myself, joy.

@littleredx2 there are few activities that don't make me pee a little anymore, and you've been pregnant several more times than I have if I'm remembering correctly. I can no longer wear shoes that don't slip on and I'm preparing to have a bunch of people all up in my junk, so I figure the pee is just a good way to help me let go of the little shame I have left.
@AmadorRose , haha, oh yes, I pee over everything. TMI and embarrassing confession but I keep a couple pairs of extra undies by the toilet at night. If I cough and am laying down, I will pee just a tad every single time and with this weather, well that happens often. DH finds it hilarious. I guess after 4 pregnancies, I no longer have any shame ;-) And if I hear better do your kegels one more time, I swear I will lose my mind. I DO KEGELS ALL THE DAMN TIME, they do nothing to help when I'm still pregnant.
It will be nice to have our normal bodily functions return to some level or normalcy in a few months :-)

@littleredx2 my sister has a sign in her bathroom that says, "I laughed so hard the tears ran down my legs." She has 5 children from 5 pregnancies. I'm really starting to understand how she feels.
3rd trimester sucks. I'm huge, I have cramps daily and the heartburn already started. I swear it started later with my first. I have 10 weeks to go and so much to do still, but I cannot wait for it to be April already

I'm so glad I'm not the only one!! It's like every other time I take a sip of water I choke on it.
Also @thaisac1 I'm with you! I'm venting about some of the little annoyances but in general this baby/pregnancy has been pretty good to me so far and for that I'm very grateful! Sometimes in the morning before I drink or eat anything I even kind of forget I'm pregnant ... Until I look in the mirror!
ETA: I will say though that the hemmoroids are a pretty big annoyance. It is just SO painful at times and I'm scared it's just going to be unbareable after labor and delivery.
@spatter1 There's hope! My hemorrhoids with DD went away completely within a week or two of delivery and I honestly didn't really notice them since everything else down there was sore too. Tucks (witch hazel) wipes instead of TP after #2 and Dermoplast on everything, and it was better than during pregnancy. As the pressure and increased blood flow went away after delivery, they did too.
@mrstrax thank you for that hope!!! I'm ising preparation h pads end they definitely help a bit.
I ended up with a prescription hydrocortisone suppository and OTC topical prep-H by the time I delivered DD, so if they get bad don't be afraid to ask your OB for something stronger if you need/want it. I think it was 2x/day for a week and was like $15-20 to have them under control. No reason to deal with the pain since it's safe for baby! I'm going to ask my OB if I can get a scrip to have ready for my next flare up after how bad this latest one was. By far my least favorite part of pregnancy.
@mrstrax thank you!! I am def going to ask my ob for that. I've actually used a cream before as well (unfortunately I've had hemmoroids before even without being pregnant), don't remember exactly what it was but remember it helped a lot! Thanks for the tips!
So I don't know the terms for my new symptoms. First, sometimes I feel pressure at the top of my throat like something wants to come back up, but no burning. Is that heartburn? I guess I assumed heartburn hurt near...your heart?? Also I'm having pain in my calves and thighs, but not cramping. What is this??
Anyone else suffer from constant viruses? I haven't been sick in years... And now I've had bronchitis, followed immediately by the nastiest stomach bug, now I'm onto flu-like symptoms with green mucus coming from everywhere! I miss real food, all I can get down is Popsicles and mashed potatoes! I feel bad for my bf.. It's like he has to take care of an ailing elderly woman! I'm sure it doesn't help my daughter is a cess-pool of germs coming from grade school.
Restless legs at night. To the point where I have to get out of bed and walk laps around the dining room table. It seems to be worse on days when I'm not too active.
@JadaBlue I've had several instances where I felt fine and suddenly burped up enough vomit that I had to run to a trash can to spit it out. No burning or anything. So I'd say it's worth trying some tums. Mine normally just feels like pressure, making it more difficult to breath. Also, is the leg pain like sharp little pains that make you feel like you just need to keep moving your legs?

My understanding is the pukey feeling is reflux- I have the same thing, but no heartburn.
@JadaBlue my thighs nearly always feel like I'm sore from a good leg day session, especially my inner thighs like yours. I don't know what it is exactly but I attribute it to being so much heavier than ever before and all the weight being gathered to my belly and booty, throwing off my center of gravity and making me walk differently. I haven't found any relief from that particular feeling but the sharp, shooting pains that I think are from RLS have been relieved by knee-high compression socks when I'm sitting or standing for long periods of time.

It sucks. ------------------ I second this. I had heartburn during the first tri a lot but then it stopped...but I still have the random burps that make food come up. Also sometimes when I down a good bit of water (even if it's been a while since I ate) I will feel my stomach be too full and like some food wants to come up but no heartburn. I think it's acid reflux or reflux vs. heartburn. It's no fun.
Anyone else get so utterly exhausted they literally cannot even make dinner? Cereal is my new friend. I know I'm borderline anaemic but have been taking iron supplements for 2 weeks now.
Literally - I have missed so many social events, and have had to cut down what I'm doing now at work because I'm so knackered. My brain is in a fog most of the time, and I'm so. bludy. tired. Even more than first trimester.
This is v unusual for me - normally I'm a bundle of energy.
@jkeezy I definitely feel more tired now than I have this whole pregnancy. I usually get a big time sleepy spell around 5-6pm then of course am wide awake when it's time for bed. Argh!
Also noticing my pelvis, or maybe just my vagina, feel really sore by the end of the day. It's even worse if DH and I have sex. It's not crippling pain, just sore. I'm assuming it's from all the pressure going on but it's a little unnerving.

I would check in with your doc! I've been taking an iron supplement since the beginning of the 2nd trimester but started to feel so tired again. After my 26 weeks blood tests they upped me to 2 iron supplements a day and I feel much better.
@spatter1 I'm having some serious pelvic pain & pressure right at my pubic symphysis that makes walking and really any movement painful. The only thing that can be done about it is to pop this baby out. I think a lot of it is just how fast she's growing and how little room she has in there.
Heartburn and nausea galore! Now I'm starting to get a lot of pain in my hips. I've had SI joint dysfunction before pregnancy and now it's worse and paired with symphysis pubis dysfunction with is an even worse pain and in quite an inconvenient location
@AmadorRose I just had to look up pubic symphysis,ha! But I'm glad I did bc hats exactly where the discomfort is. Argh so annoying and I still have 13 weeks to go...
