It looked like she was trying to escape today! DH and I both saw her moving like crazy from the outside . He felt her a few weeks ago but the movements are visible sometimes now at 19w4d
I've been feeling flutters maybe once or twice a day for the last week, and felt inconsistently for about a week before that. I would not know it was flutters if this was my first and I don't think I'll feel real kicks (outside ones) for a few more weeks. I definitely get it now that you feel them earlier because you know what it feels like, even though you forget when you're not KU. 17w4d with 2.0.

I've been feeling baby since 13.5 weeks, but haven't felt it on the outside yet. However, this evening I laid down to check a heartbeat, and I guess it didn't like the fetoscope, because it kicked and I *saw* my belly move. I've definitely never seen movement this early before!
My baby has kicked my Doppler probe many times too! I wonder if it bugs him?
BH started a little bit later this time around (yay!). I could feel DS at about 10 weeks rolling around... This baby is a lot calmer, so I didn't feel much until about 14 weeks. I get an occasional kicking session at night, but that's about it. That started a could weeks ago? I'm 19 weeks today. Noticed yesterday that baby's kicks could be felt from the outside, so I've started pestering DH to put his hand above my pelvic bone.

I think they might. My LO was seriously kicking at and punching at the wand they used for his A/S. The tech was trying so hard to suppress giggles about it. He's a fighter like his mama about personal space, ha-ha! Let's just hope he doesn't go through the five year stage of "please don't hug me, I don't like being touched" that was me growing up. (I was such a weird kid.. )
I'm 16w2d and I have felt the little flutters on and off for the last week. We've been told she has long legs and has always been active in the ultrasounds. If I wasn't a STM, I may not know they're kicks but they're becoming more frequently.

You would not have done very well growing up in Brazil then! We are very touchy-kissy people!

My Italian side of the family is similar... Takes an hour for everyone to hug one another individually so we can leave any family get together! Also according to my mom I never was like that until my parents got divorced, then I developed the don't touch me attitude. If it had gone away when they remarried each other a couple years later, it probably would have helped lol.
Today hubby was able to feel a kick for the first time (I'm 20.5 weeks). He is a happy camper!!!
I'm so annoyed (not REALLY but kinda)... I have felt my baby kick from the outside a bunch of times, but every time I get my husband over to feel, he stops moving!! What the heck baby!

It is my first pregnancy and I have been feeling infrequent movements for about 5 weeks now. About two weeks ago I started feeling movements every day, and now I am feeling the baby moving every now and then. As I said it is my first pregnancy and I wasn't expecting it that early, and when I told my OB I was feeling the baby really low, she said that it was normal and would go up to the belly button level at week 20.
It really does feel extremely weird to feel someone moving in your belly, but it definitely puts a smile on your face
I'm 21 weeks and 2 days. I've been feeling flutters and kicks since week 16. Her kicks have been getting stronger every week and as of last night, my husband and I can see her kicks. I've also discovered she does like me to sleep on my left side- I've been waking up to kicking the past few nights.
I think I might be feeling it but I am not totally sure. I feel something unusual this week in my lower belly sort of area. I'm really unsure what it's supposed to feel like.

Try laying on your back in a quiet, distraction-free room. The first kicks I felt were like little flicks - someone described it being like a goldfish bumping into the side of a plastic bag (like the ones you get at a fair), and that's pretty much it. Once I knew what I was feeling for, they became more frequent and stronger.
So update on my previous question. I don't think it was movement I felt, but round ligament pain. Tomorrow will mark 22 weeks and I still haven't felt anything. At the last ultrasound he was moving like crazy and I couldn't feel it, so I don't really know what to think. I'll keep on waiting and doing some pelvic exercises. I'm hoping to feel him kick soon.

It's not at all unusual or concerning to not have felt it yet, especially depending on your pre-baby weight and plancental placement. Don't worry, it'll happen If you're impatient, I was only able to feel my girl at first if I was lying on my back in a dark, quiet room without distractions. Don't think too hard about it, and be as patient as you can manage.
I felt movement at 16 weeks but it wasn't consistent until 19ish. I think it'll be a while till he can be felt outside. At my last ultrasound, baby was breech and facing backwards.
I now realize I have been feeling flutters for weeks. Finally felt consistent kicks at 20w6d and hubs felt the baby at 21w1day (yesterday). This baby takes after me and is super active. I threw a gutter ball thanks to a strong kick yesterday... Lol
I think the baby has found my bladder and enjoys kicking off of it. At least that's what it feels like. Definitely getting some pretty strong kicks and tumbles now though. Tomorrow I go for my ultrasound to see if we are having a boy or girl. I'm so excited I've been having dreams about it for the past 3 days! I notice that if I sing, or play the piano the baby starts to move around a lot more. It also enjoys when I play fallout 4. That seems to be when I feel a ton of action.
This might sound like a dumb question, but every ultrasound I have, my baby is facing away. So he is facing towards my back. Will that affect me feeling him? I want to feel him already!
@kalanieileen they move around enough that they're always facing different directions. And 18-19 is still early for some. I didn't feel movement til way later with my first.

@NachosAndPeaches how late is way later? Because I'm 22 weeks and dying to feel my baby kick, but I've not felt anything definite yet. Sometimes I think I feel something, and it turns out to be gas or round ligament pain.
Or to anyone in general who has already felt the kicking, how did you know the difference between the kicks and all the other feelings in your abdomen?

The first time I felt her kick, I was lying on my back in a dark, quiet room - not concentrating on anything, just chilling like I was about to go to sleep. It was total luck of the draw. From the sounds of it, that's when several others have had luck at first. I was a bit unsure, but it felt like light flicks from the inside - like a goldfish hitting the side of a ziplock bag. At that point, I knew how high my uterus was so I could rule out anything at my belly button or above. I was more sure as she became stronger, and DH was able to feel her a week or so later when I was between weeks 18 and 19. My placenta sits behind her and I was rather low BMI before becoming pregnant, which definitely plays a factor. If you start at a higher BMI or your placenta is between your abdominal wall and baby, you likely won't feel kicks until later.
It's all fun and games until your baby starts using your bladder as a trampoline and simultaneously teaching you why they call it "lightening crotch." Still worth it though, and DH hasn't gotten bored with my running commentaries on her somersaults, cheetah kicks, and tiger flips.

I suppose you are right, it just freaked me out that literally every ultrasound he is in the same position! He's so stubborn I want to see his face lol every damn ultrasound picture is of his spine and butt haha
Then I just started freaking out like what if something is wrong, why is he always in the same position, why can't I feel him yet! Last ultrasound he was sitting on his leg, and I was concerned if that was a sign of something.
Honestly I was going crazy. I just need to eat some ice cream and chill tf out lol

My baby was in weird positions every time I was at an ultrasound and I was worried I would never be able to feel him because he was always facing away from my abdominal wall. I have a very high BMI and an anterior placenta and I don't feel him move as much as the others in here, and other days I don't feel him at all. I haven't felt him move for three days so I was freaking out at my midwife appointment today. She found the heartbeat in a second and told me everything is fine. So don't you worry, you will feel him soon enough.

It was very distinct from anything I had felt before. It literally feels like a gentle poke from the inside.
Felt BB move for the first time (that I'm sure of) last Monday at 17+5. Started off with one "nudge" that caught me off guard and then 2 more once I placed my hand where I felt it. I almost cried at work. After that pretty much nothing, at least until I kept my 1 1/2 year old niece Friday night and since then BB has been pretty consistent with the movement lol.
Husband felt him kick for the first time at 20 weeks 4 days and he has felt him almost every night since. Such an amazing experience to share with him.
