@ErikaMG that's exactly what I think happened to me. I think I ovulated before they even had me trigger. They said no but I have been worried about that for last 2 weeks. So frustrating!!
Me too! I think I ovulated on Saturday, triggered on Sunday morning and by the time I had my IUI on Monday my window was closed. I hate that my RE is so hard to pin down on weekends. I mean, I understand everyone needs a break but my body isn't on her schedule!
@laur2444 The dr said to do a HPT on Tuesday. I don't want to do it in the am because I know if it's a BFN I'll meltdown and not want to go to work. Remind me where you are in your cycle? There are too many posts to keep up with lol.

@lilmissslp def right with the too many posts! Lol I triggered last Sunday, so 7 days post trigger tomorrow. My doctor is awful they say do HPT 18 days post trigger!!! So far each cycle I've obviously gotten AF before this....so I've never even gotten to test. I think if no AF by next Sunday I will test at 2 weeks since the last 2 times AF came around that time. I think you should test in the morning though, you are supposed to do it with first urination right? Maybe do something super relaxing with your husband the night before to calm you down? I don't know how to deal with any of this either I've been an emotional wreck the past 3 months......not sure if we'll go for a 4th IUI cycle if this is a bust. Might have to explore IVF. I don't know how many more months of this I can do.

I triggered the fifth & did IUI on the 7th.
Last month I overstimulated & felt so so awful. With the last IUI I had several follicles, one 18, 16 & I think the rest 15s & smaller that my MD didn't want to mature. This time my Bravelle went down from two injections to one & I only produced a 30, 23 & 15 all on the left. Can I tell you how amazingly better I feel this time?
I'm trying to live my life like normal this time (gym, coffee) because I felt like the big disappointment last month was attributed to A) putting my life on hold for two weeks to result in a BFN and
B)all the meds they had me on gave me every pregnancy symptom women complain about, so I was doubly disappointed when I felt so sure.
This fertility game is not for sissies. It's physically, emotionally & financially draining. All this without a guarantee. So I hope for all of you going through the same thing that we all get to kiss little fingers & toes one day & be stronger for it.

@laur2444 wow 18 days is such a long time to wait. It's probably really accurate at that point. I'm just so nervous to test, I can't take another blank test staring back at me. I've never seen a BFP. I've read that FMU is most accurate but that you can also not drink and not use the bathroom for 4 hours and then test. Maybe it would be good to test in the am and have work as a distraction. I just don't know lol! This is our third IUI too and I won't do anymore after this. This is the last IUI insurance will cover. We have unexplained infertility and based on what I've read, after 3 unsuccessful medicated IUIs we should proceed to IVF which is completely oop for us. Good luck to you and keep me posted. I really hope this cycle worked for both of us.

@Krista537 good luck today. If you o'ed yesterday, I think from everything I've learned from the RE and the ladies here that it is good timing! I had the same worry this month, CD11 today, TWW is almost over! FX this is our month!
@rnthatruns0923 I feel the same way, I had some decaf coffee over this TWW and soda (only those with out caffine and clear, so maybe not that daring). I have a massage schedulded for two weeks from now, i went a head and scheduled it instead of not in anticipation. Good luck to you this month!

@lilmissslp ughhh I hear ya....while my insurance covers unlimited IUIs, my copay for my menopur injection is almost 350 for 1 box, which lasts me 2 days, so you do the math! Lol and they don't cover anything for IVF at all, so I am actually going to call my husbands insurance tomorrow to see what his plan is like, and might potentially go on it. I have hypothalamic amenorrhea, so I wasn't ovulating without the menopur at all, probably do to the fact that I have been an avid runner for the past 10 years, even though my bmi is fine and I have 5 ft 3 at about 128 pounds. It's been extremely hard for me to cut back on the exercising, because it's not like I'm underweight! This past cycle I've taken it down to only an hour a day, so hopefully that will do something to help, since that's the only factor I can control. Of course all my husbands numbers are phenomenal, so it makes me feel like garbage. Yes hopefully we'll switch boards together!!! I have to admit you all are great at holding out during the 2WW. My doctor doesn't want me to test until 14 days piui. Of course, I jumped the gun and tested on Friday morning at 9 days piui. I'm pretty sure the trigger shot was still in my system and gave me a false positive test. I tested again this morning at 11 days piui and now the positive line is much fainter. I guess that's the hormones from the shot leaving my system. What a mind game! I fear that AF is on her way because I'm getting cramps. Now I know why the doctor told me to wait. Looks like I'll be going to trial #2.
@rnthatruns0923 I totally agree with your post. I only started the last 4 months with an RE but have been trying for 2 years. Putting my life on hold caused stress, weight gain and moodiness. So not conducive to making a baby. Trying to live normally and keep a positive attitude this time!
@browne7975 Keep the faith! I really don't want to give you false hope, but a girl on here a month or 2 ago got a false positive 9dpo, BFN 10 dpo, and a BFP 11 dpo. I hope your situation is like hers! Because of the emotional rollercoaster she went through, I only test 7 or 8 dpo to ensure the trigger is out. If it's not, no testing for me until 13 dpo. I'm going to try to make it the full 14 days, though.

@riveridgional Thank you for the hopeful post, and the great advice. I will follow it from here on out. I am expecting that the line will disappear altogether tomorrow at 12 days piui, but I will hope and pray for the best! I hope you get your BFP this go around!
This mornings beta was 99% was negative. I go back weds for my next blood test to see if all of the extra ovidrel is out of my system and start the next cycle. I'm sad but at least I can keep moving on. I already started to spot.

@laur2444 that would be so great if your husbands insurance covered IVF! Sounds like your BMI is perfect. I find it so frustrating to try so hard when some ppl are so unhealthy and have no problem. I'm actually underweight. I'm 5'2" 96 lbs, but that's the weight I've been for years. I eat relatively healthy and don't workout and can't seem to gain weight. My husbands numbers are always great too which leaves me feeling so guilty. I think as woman, we put a lot of blame on ourselves. I hope we both don't have to worry about IVF.

I have to say right now I'm so jealous of you guys who are doing iuis now. I thought the 2ww was the worst but just waiting for an ectopic to finish is really the worst. No idea when I will be starting my new cycle. Still waiting for my numbers to drop. They were 237 on Friday.
this 2ww is going by so slow.. it always does! finally feeling better after having mild ohss last week.. im hoping it comes back tho bec its the hcg that causes it & that would mean this cycle worked! fx for everyone & welcome to the newbies
Tonight marks my last night on clomid. Tomorrow afternoon I have my hsg. I am not looking forward to that. I go back to the RE on Wednesday for another ultrasound to see if my body will be ready for an iui by Saturday.
Whewh, for those in the tww, we made it through another week! My husband and I plan to test on Wednesday morning, 14 dpiui. We go up north on Friday, so we will either be celebrating or taking wine tasting tours and getting couples spa treatments including the longest massage possible!

So, I had my first follow-up appointment since beginning my second round of injects. I have taken 4 days of Gonal-F at 75. Last cycle, I had so many follicles developing, I was worried they would cancel me. This cycle is starting off completely differently. My nurse said everything is looking good so far, so I trust her but it's just so different. Last time, I had about 13-15 follicles 11 and up and no single "lead" follicle. This time, I have 1 at 14 and 3 at 11 on my right. I can't remember anything about the left, but I think they were only 10s and below. I'm currently waiting for the nurse to call after my RE looks at my chart and BW results to see my day 5 dose. I had 5 cysts after my last cycle and took BC. It appears my withdrawal bleeding has finally stopped (had some light spotting this morning), so my lining is on the lower side right now.
I'm just wondering how going directly from BC to injects will impact anything. Also, how do we know for sure the 14 on the right isn't one of my cysts regrowing from the injects? At my "baseline" to ensure the cysts were gone I had a follicle at 10.5, which I can only assume is the current 14. Is it dumb to be worried about this stuff? This cycle is just so different from last, and I know it'sstill early and I have some growing.
Anyone have experience with injects directly after a cyst(s) and BC?
