  • @mbradfo2 Was so happy to see your post and glad those two embies are looking perfect :)
@andreamm31 You got this girl! Our  clinic likes to see it at 8 or above, does your clinic like it higher than 8mm for the lining?
  • @lmajin99 I assume so, because she said we good to go!  For some reason I thought I needed it above 9, but that might just be what I saw on the boards and people talking about linings.

    History in Spoiler
  • Hi everyone! Good to see the good news @mbradfo2! Congrats on the embies!

@andreamm31 Oh Teddy! C'mon little dude, really? He is so cute though...dogs can withstand so much with what they eat, it's just crazy! I once had a basset hound that literally ate a pair of glasses and was fine and it was like, did that really even taste good, my friend?!? Anyway, I think 8.6 sounds pretty good for your lining, and it's trilaminar yes? I've seen success with less, so I wouldn't worry too much. I think UFC usually just looks for 8 or above. Rooting for you, girl!

@JamieH2000 I am so excited for you! I am rooting for your transfer this week and thinking about both you and @andreamm31 a lot this week -- holding you both close to my heart.

@tangerine32 I agree with @laurad75, you could not find another bunch of more supportive folks than on the Low AMH board! They  have certainly walked me through some dark places on the IF journey. I have more comments and an update but am going to put them in a spoiler cuz there's lots of preggo talk.

I am currently 36+5 via DE. I did 4 OE cycles -- only one went to retrieval, but I also have a genetic issue in that I am carrier of Fragile X. I put that in my siggy, I don't know if that shows up on my posts or not. I do have an OE embryo on ice but it's still a carrier of FX and my partner and I could not bring ourselves to use it because there's still substantial health ramifications for FX carriers. Also we are notoriously poor responders to IVF, something to do with how our ovaries communicate, plus FX causes early IF...anyway, a whole host of issues for me! I will say that I do still have pangs about the genetic loss, but more often my pangs are anger at the many doctors who misdiagnosed my DOR for just random missed periods...wish I had trusted my intuition more.
In any case!!! I will say that I am absolutely thrilled to be pregnant. Absolutely thrilled! The pangs happen but they are certainly not like what they were in the beginning...TBH, I kind of wish I had moved on from OE sooner. You have to do what feels right to you, but honestly, if I had moved on sooner, I would have had a baby sooner...and my last OE cycle was really heartbreaking for me, just so hard...I do wonder sometimes if another protocol etc would have changed things, but man, I also wished I wouldn't have tortured myself with all the OE cycles! So it's a huge mix for me, and a lot of the time I am just like, eff it man! Why didn't I just go to DE sooner! I love this baby-to-be and am so excited for her to enter the world! And really, the grief does dissipate A LOT and I didn't realize how happy I would be once I moved on.
Update from me for the crew! SO, given IVF + gestational diabetes + last week's contractions/hospital visit/baby's position + advanced maternal age + some rising blood pressures at my last 2 NSTs, they will be inducing me Thursday at 37+1! EEEKKKKK!!!!! I am terrified and excited and emotional all at the same time and I kind of don't know what to do with myself. I knew we were going to get induced but thought they would want me to go to 38 so when my doctor looked at my BP and said 37 was better...I totally trust her but both me and the boyfriend looked at each other like oh SHIT JUST GOT REAL that's 6 days away! (I saw her Friday). So here we go!

  • @lucyb1954
EEEEE! I'm so excited for you!!! The moment when they tell you you're actually going to have a baby -now- is both thrilling and terrifying! I found that a sense of relief when my induction was scheduled; all along I had been waiting for the other shoe to drop and now I had a very specific time window left when "bad things" could happen. And as that passed and we got closer to induction (ok, confession: my lag between decision to induce and actual induction was only about 12 hrs so not nearly as much time as you're getting!), I started getting progressively more and more excited. And when we decided to switch from trying to induce to c-section due failure to progress on the first round of induction drugs, everything got REAL very very fast. I actually felt extremely queasy from all of the intense emotions; I remember telling my husband he needed to go down to the nurse's station and tell them that I was going to be sick. They gave me a medicine to help (I suspect it was anti-anxiety rather than anti-nausea!) and then I got wheeled into the OR. Everything from that moment on was just...amazing. Indescribable.

  • @lucyb1954 Oh wow, this is so exciting but yes I can imagine the nervousness.  Hope you were able to get a few things in the last couple of weeks.  Thinking of you everyday and cannot wait to hear how things come along this Thursday :)
  • Hey guys, things aren’t going good here. My lining didn’t look last wed (down to 8.4 from 9.4 ans not three lines). So went in on Friday and it was 3 lines and 7.1. Today it was 7.5 and 3 lines only in some spots. Waiting for my RE to call but we will likely cancel. I’m losing energy honestly. 15 months straight so far trying to get to number 2. I know I’m soo blessed to have one, and he’s the only thing keeping me going thru all of this. But two children has always been my dream and the reason we decided to go to DE, since it gave us so many more embryos. I just feel so defeated and like my body is a failure. I’m starting to think I got my one miracle and it was a true miracle he stuck.

  • @JamieH2000 First of all, I'm so sorry you are having such a hard time with your lining.  When you speak with your doctor maybe they will have advice or ideas for what can improve it and maybe its just more time.

Of course you are blessed to have your beautiful boy but that doesn't take away the wanting for a second baby, especially when you have viable embryos waiting for their chance.  I know you feel defeated but it's not over.  I think you need to listen to your doctor, take some time to regroup and figure out what the next step will be.  It's not time to give up yet.

  • Thanks @laurad75. Appreciate the thoughts. I’ve been down this lining issue road before and there’s minimal we can do really, except keep trying. I’ll probably trying taking some l arginine next time, as I did used to take that.

we are officially cancelled this cycle and will see how it goes. I’m so tired of sharing bad news. I’ll probably take some time off the board.

that it's a good idea to take some time to regroup and re-energize. You're still in the game, so to speak - just lost a few battles but not the war. Don't feel guilty for wanting what most ordinary couples want -- to have healthy and beautiful babies, and as many of them as they wish.

  • @JamieH2000 oh girl,  I just so sad for you.   This sucks.   I also added L-arginine and vitamin E on my own,  as well as added an extra dose of estrogen in the morning because my last transfer I was on 10mg estrogen a day and this time only 6mg, so I added a second oral dose because I knew my lining would be struggling too if I didn't.  I also cut out caffeine, and did womb massages with castor oil and nightly heat pack to my uterus. All these interventions were to increase blood glow.  I know this feels so frustrating,  but maybe jumping into another cycle after you get your period will help plump it up.  You deserve your 2 babies.  Don't give up girl.  Sending you love.

@ladyp0tter can't wait to hear how it goes thursday!!

@lucyb1954 you know I'm just dying to see a pic of sweet baby girl....keep us posted. We are all rooting for you girl.   Sending you lots of love for Thursday.

    History in Spoiler
  • @mbradfo2 so thrilled for you lady!! What fantastic news with the 2 girls:)

@lucyb1954 Eeeeeeeeeek! I’m so excited for youuuuuuu!  I feel like my induction was yesterday yet somehow I have a 9 month old, lol, so crazy how time flies. Thanks for letting me know about the DM, I wish I got an email or something cuz I always miss them!  Sorry for such a late response:-/

@andreamm31 that lining sounds great! Fingers crossed things continue to go smoothly!

    @JamieH2000
f$&k.  That’s all I’ve got.  I’m just without words. I feel you 1000% girl.   I believe you will get your 2nd babe....I really do. I am just so sorry it has to be this freakin hard. Sending love.

@ladyp0tter good luck at your appointment!!!!!!!

@tangerine32 welcome friend. Sorry for the late response, but as for how open the relationship is with my daughters donor, when I was picking a donor, I wanted someone who said they were willing to have contact from either me or any child born with her eggs.  I specifically did not let my clinic find me a donor because then it would have been that the child could contact them when they are 18 and if they decided they wanted  information or to meet her earlier than that, I didn’t want to have to keep that from them.  So I used an agency and then they worked with my clinic.  It 100% added cost to the process, which I really didn’t have but we figured it out.  And my clinic worked with me even though that’s not their preferred way of doing things.  So... The donor I picked said she was open to communication from parents or child. I even added some language to our legal contract which was maybe over the top a bit, lol.   So I finally just reached out to the agency and told them about my daughter and thanked them for everything they did for us and said I wanted to thank her donor too, so was wondering if they could ask her if she was still comfortable with that.  So they emailed her and then emailed me back saying she was thrilled to hear about my daughter and super excited that I wanted to connect.  And there was her email address.   I honestly just burst into tears because I’ve been so stressed about this. I just wanted to be able to talk about her like a person who I actually know to start weaving her into my daughter’s story.  That just always felt like what was right for me personally and realizing I would be able to do that was overwhelming.  (Just to reiterate, this was just what I felt would make it easiest and most comfortable for me, so not to say this is the best way to do it by any means). So I emailed her a letter I’d been writing and re-writing for almost a year and added a bunch of pictures and she emailed me back:). Turns out we both did a lot of happy crying that day.    She’s fantastic, and I’ll always think of her and her family like extended family, because they basically are!  I’ve really enjoyed getting to know her better.  I do wish I could forget about the generic part because that would be easier and she’s truly MY daughter but I know I can’t and for me this makes it feel easier. I’m going to make her a board book of her story because none of the egg donation books are exactly what I want, and I’ll put her donors picture in there too and start reading it to her. So I can practice while she is too young to judge me and my awkwardness. Lol.   That got long, I’m sorry if I went overboard on the sharing!

  • @JamieH2000 oh YAY!!!!!! Very excited that you are able to start again!!!    I wanted to try for #2 once She turns 1 since they say 12 months after c-section but now I have all this medical drama. Finally saw a rheumatologist and they gave me this steroid pack that I know is just temporary till we figure out what’s happing (I’m sure it is rheumatoid arthritis cuz I already have 1 autoimmune disease) when test results are back, but my god it’s been life changing!   Steroids are such a miracle.   So now I’m like, shit how will this interfere with an attempt at #2?  Which knowing I have issues with implantation I don’t even know if it is possible with just 2 PGS normal embryos:-/.  So for now not thinking about it.  She is 9 months now!

  • @hopefuljj do you think they will just have you stay on the steroids for your transfer whey you do it considering all your autoimmune conditions?? One of my friends was on it her whole pregnancy  and 60mg! Plus imunneglobulin infusions.  But I think a year is a good time table.

@JamieH2000 I was hoping they would just roll you right into the next cycle,  you got momentum and it sounds like a good plan. Rooting so hard for you girl.

Transfer day today! All went well.   She said lining looked great.  We feel really hopeful and positive.  Beta March 8th.  Our 3rd donor egg embryo transfer,  and this baby girl was number 3 out of my 10.  So im thinking 3rd times a charm and some lucky numbers right there.   And they upgraded her from UFCs grading of a BB to a BA and that gave e a little confidence boost too.

I'm so glad to hear of your positive experiences with the open donation! I find so many people are incredibly awkward and maybe a touch selfish when it comes to having a baby via a donor --- pretty much every parent in our practice who has a kid from donor eggs has asked for us to never ever talk about it or mention it to the child, whatever their age (neglecting the fact that this is important medical history). I find it very upsetting since I feel it's an important part of that child's story that they have a right to know about. Hopefully they will become more open with time and the wound is just to raw in women with babies and toddlers from donors.

    @JamieH2000
Woo, great to be moving forward!! We'll going to do the next cycle so maybe we will be transfer buddies!

    @andreamm31
Fingers crossed double and triple times for you!! I wish there was something I could do for you to help make everything go perfectly; IVF leaves me feeling so powerless at times. I just really am praying for success for you and a little girl in your arms.

    AFM
I actually got the call tuesday that our 3rd embryo appears to be a mosaic; some cells normal, some cells not. Most recent research indicates that these embryos -can- go on to produce normal pregnancies and healthy babies, but obviously, this is our last choice embryo and we'd have to really think about if we wanted the risks before using it.

    My mini crisis involving DD:
One of our dogs nipped/bit DD. Fortunately only a small superficial scratch and nasty looking bruise, and it looks much better now, but DD and I were pretty distraught most of the afternoon. She got an ice cream bar and some donuts out of it, and got back to her normal high spirits fairly quickly. As a precaution, our pediatrician sent in some antibiotics for her to take which she absolutely hates, but I remind her that Doc McStuffins says that you need to do what the doctor asks you to do and the doctor told her to take her medicine. I don't know what I'm going to do with this dog though; he was already on thin ice because he is rude/mean to our other dog and an escape artist who has gotten out of our yard several times in the past year. We got him from a breeder who said he would take the pup, if he had to get rehomed. I think the dog just hasn't adjusted to having a little kid around -- most of his poor behavior started around the time DD was born. He may simply not be a kid dog which we'll have to think about, esp. once DD is older and wants friends over to play or do sleepovers.

  • JamieH2000 - Good news that you're moving right along!  I think that makes sense to start with less estrogen and build it up from there, sounds like a solid plan to me.

andreamm31 - That is one good looking embryo if you ask me!  I have everything crossed for you... I agree, I think the third time is going to be a charm!
  • hopefuljj - I love your story!  It makes me so happy. I like too as you point that there is no one cookie cutter "right" way to do this.  It's cool that there are so many options and it's just a matter of figuring out what feels right for each of us (which is sometimes easier said than done I know).

mbradfo2 - *TW* Ugh, sorry you're dealing with the mini-crisis.  If it's a liquid medicine try mixing it in applesauce and yogurt and spoon feeding it to her.  We went through this same issue recently and once we figured out that trick it was a total game changer; seems like it would make it taste too bad and they'd refuse to eat it at all but nope. *End TW*
  • TW
    @c-town18
We actually tried that once and she got wise to it! And refused to eat any yogurt or applesauce we gave her for the longest time. Her pediatrician also suggested chocolate icing for masking the flavor. I have no idea why they put these gross flavors on kids medicine; I think it makes them even worse! I remember this one (augmentin, white-yellow stuff) and it's supposed to be like 'tutti fruiti" and it's just absolutely gross. We just offer her a juice box afterwards to wash out the flavor. So far we've been able to get it in her mostly. Tami Flu was the worst one as far as liquid medicine, imo. The one boon about this whole lockdown no-school thing is that she hasn't really been sick much since she stopped going to preschool. Her first year she had the flu -twice- back to back (and she got a flu shot!! her pediatrician was so disappointed!!), conjunctivitis, croup...you name it.

  • Hi Ladies,
    TW** live/loss mentioned
Need some input...Is everyone doing medicated FET?  Any success doing Natural FET.  I believe the only difference is whether you take estrace or not, (TW** live/loss mentioned I'm still breastfeeding...not by choice, lets just say I'm the baby's living blankie) so my only option is natural FET, which unfortunately did not work for me this past cycle.  I don't have many (pgs) normies left and I used my highest graded this round, so wanted to see what others thought.  Technically on paper everything looked great, so not much more info to add...as we know it sometimes just doesn't take.. I was being super confident because even though I did rounds and rounds of IVF to make my embryos I believed that the transfers weren't my issue.  As an update I did one fresh transfer which worked where I was pregnant with twins...but ended in MC.  Luckily my medicated FET gave me my miracle, so my thought was I just need help making the actual embryos but my body could get pregnant no problem with the transfer.  I guess in my head I wanted to believe that I could beat one thing in this process if that makes sense.  I take baby aspirin and metanex (for mthfr.)

andreamm31  sending you all the sticky vibes in the world!  3rd time will be the charm for sure!  You are PASP all the way!!

mbradfo2 congrats on your girls that's so exciting!!

JamieH2000  sorry you were cancelled but glad you're going to still keep at it.  I know we are so blessed for our miracles and its ok that we should still be able to get that success for number 2, I'm right there with you!  You're making me re-think my lining as I think it was a 7, I'll have to check back with my RE.

@ladypotter- wishing you continued success, interesting about the girl theory, you really think the body knows?

@tangerine32 welcome you're certainly in the right place!

Please forgive I'm not tagging everyone...but you know who you are expecting mamas :) Exciting to see so many of you in different stages, I love seeing the updates so keep it coming.  Enjoy every moment as scary as the process is.

@hopeful_mom. @ladyp0tter just did a natural FET and she is out of her first trimester now!  Her medicated one was a BFN but the natural FET was the winner!  I know she had a lot more monitoring.  But Im sure she will share her experience.  And thanks for the sticky vibes!

@c-town18. Thanks girlie! I think she looks pretty perfect too!!  How are you feeling girl??

Thanks everyone for the well wishes!! Having you all here is such a blessing!!

@andreamm31 - I am so thrilled for you. That Embryo looks amazing!! Third time WILL BE the charm for sure!! Can't wait for the 8th!

@Hopeful_mom - yes, as @andreamm31 mentioned, I did my second DE transfer as a "modified natural" instead of fully medicated. Not sure if that is what worked, or if it is because I used a girl/boy this time instead of just a boy. I still think my body just WILL NOT take a boy. I can never seem to keep one alive. Either way, my natural cycle consisted of 2wks of antibiotics (just a precaution), and then 5 days of Femora to build follicles. A 10K trigger when my follicle was 18mm and then I started vaginal progesterone a few days prior to transfer. I also take aspirin and lovenox for Protein S deficiency and for MTHFR. I am not positive my girl is the one that stuck yet, but she was the BB and my boy was the BC, so I am just guessing (and based on my previous history of no luck with boys). Let me know if you have any other questions!

SENSITIVE*************** (I still can't figure out how to do the hidden box)
AFM: I am so mad. my 12w5dy appointment, I was hoping for another ultrasound. NOPE....they just checked the HB with a Doppler which I have a home Doppler so that was not anything new to me. They scheduled me for my high risk Dr. who I see on March 15th. They WILL give me an US (I already asked). I will be just over 15wks at that point, so hopefully we can confirm sex and double check that all the bits/bobs look like they are in the right place. She (likely) is such an active little thing already. I have been feeling her for the past 2wks and she seems to like my left side the best.

  • @ladypotter- yay for everything looking good! No NT scan at 12 weeks then?

@hopefulmom- I didn’t know you were trying for a second! I’m sorry for a failed transfer. It really does feel like a lost baby. Def ask about your lining. Are you copying your successful transfer exactly? Did you have a saline or hysterscopy to check for polyps?

@andreamm31- your embaby looks perfect! I have a good feeling for you!! Any early testing?

@hopefuljj- I really hope the autoimmune chills out so you can transfer when you want too! Ugh. We will be here with you of course!!

@mbradfo2- scary about your daughter! How is she now? I’m excited to be transfer buddies :)

afm- nothing too exciting here. Stopped progesterone today, so hoping day 1 is Thursday so I can go in on Friday for baseline

  • @JamieH2000 - well, I THOUGHT they were going to do it (the DID draw the blood for it). the OB even talked about the NIPT Ultrasound, but by the time I go back next time (March 25th) it will be way to late for that. I guess she expects the high risk Dr to do it although the order said 2-4 weeks for appointment and so when they called me to schedule I was telling them that I did not get an ultrasound at my last appointment and didn't want to wait 4wks, so I have to wait 2?! I am so confused.

  • @hopeful_mom we already texted about this but natural transfer was the only transfer that worked for me! So no Estrace but I did do endometrium inserts on the timeframe of when you would have done PIO in medicated.

@andreamm31 eeeeeeeeeek!!! Crossing everything for you lady!!!! Yay yay!!!! YAAAAAY!!!!!!

@JamieH2000 I hope you are able to go for baseline Friday!!!!!!!  I just started RA medication and he put me on one that’s safe for pregnancy so hoping that works because if not there are very few options cuz all the RA meds you can’t get pregnant on.  So we shall see. Takes a month to work so I’m the meantime he gave me my old friend prednisone to get me through.  I’ll try to keep the roid rage against my husband to a minimum but it’s so hard! lol.

@ladyp0tter ugh soooooo frustrating friend, I’m very sorry for the disappointment :-/ I’d be very upset too.    NIPT blood test should confirm the sex and you must have had that by now cuz that’s usually done at 10 weeks right?

@mbradfo2 oh gosh, I’m sorry about what happened with your dog and daughter!  That must be crazy stressful. I’ve been struggling to keep my cat from trying to murder my daughter and it’s V scary.....she’s old and has always had major fear aggression issues...I have stopped her from launching at her a few rimes now......I ’m very sorry you are having to navigate something similar.

IVF 2 - stimmed for 19 days. insanity. Had 5 follicles that looked mature but only 2 contained mature eggs the others were empty.  Nothing made it to day 5
IVF 3 - added in HGH - 4 mature follicles (had some empties again) 3 made it to day 5/6 for PGS (held for testing with next retrieval
IVF 4 - Upped my dosage for the first time - Canceled 11 days into sims - looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 5 - Canceled -  looked like 1 follicle and we were afraid it was empty
IVF 6 - 3 mature, 2 fertalized 1 made it to day 5 and sent for PGS

Sent in IVF round 3 and 6 (4 embryos) for PGS testing and got 2 normal embryos!!!  1Boy and 1Girl. Took a little over a year to get those two embryos so demanded all sorts of test prior to attempting transfer. Did EFT, ERA and NK Cells testing.

FET#1 - Intralipid drips, Prednisone, and did a depot lupron shot before starting the FET protocol
    Chemical pregnancy
    FET#2 - PGS normal boy - BFN
Natural pregnancy - cycle following the FET2????   Miscarriage at 8 weeks.  viability scan had shown an enlarged yolk sac so I had been warned that it was likely not chromosonally normal :(

DEIVF cycle - picked a donor who is willing to be open! Her cycle resulted in in 4 PGS Normal embryos
    1st transfer - chemical pregnancy
    2nd transfer - success, May 17 2020 due date!

@JamieH2000 I've always wanted more but life and covid put things on hold.  We did the saline sono and it all looked good.  Everything on paper looked perfect.  Last time I did a medicated cycle but because I'm still breastfeeding my only option is to do a natural cycle.  I'm very torn with doing another natural cycle, but I cannot get this girl to ween, so that's the big issue that makes everything different.  Maybe we'll be transfer buddies again so many years later :)

@ladyp0tter@ladyp0tter I'm surprised you didn't have the nipt and you were at the dr.  I remember I had to have the test prior to 13wks and i think it was 12.5wks.  I will say the one thing I loved about my old school dr was he gave me an US at every appt.  I'm glad you have the doppler which hopefully helps put your mind at ease.  I can't believe you feel the baby already that's amazing! thanks for the info. I'm still so torn.  I did the trigger as well but no femora and they just tracked my regular follicle growth.  Do you remember what your E2 was?  They did skip the antibiotics this time, so i'm gonna circle back on that too, thanks!  Excited for your follow up!

hopefuljj thanks lady!  I still keeping going back and forth on what to do, to think estrace really makes such a difference!  Love your donor story and that your book.  We have so many thoughts running around its great you were able to get them down and out how you wanted.

@andreamm31 thinking of you, hope you're feeling good! sending good thoughts!

mbradfo2 hope Anne is feeling better so scary when our furbabies hurt our babies.

So nice to see everyone's updates!
@andreamm31 This has got to be the one! Are you planning on testing at home early?
@JamieH2000 Sorry to hear the last cycle was cancelled but it looks like you and your RE have a good plan in place for this month and wishing you the best success, you deserve this girl!
@ladyp0tter That is frustrating! Other than that how are you feeling? Hopefully no major symptoms.
@hopeful_mom & @hopefuljj always so nice to hear from you ladies and see the updates :)
    AFM: Tugging along!
Will post an update after my anatomy scan in less than 2 weeks.

  • @hopefuljj - from what I have read the NIPT should be done before 14wks so likely 11-13wks in most cases. Yes, the bloodtest will show the sex but I was hoping to see if the baby looked all good (nuchal fold and umbilical cord and placenta etc.). Now I have to wait until 15wks.

@Hopeful_mom - I didn't end up needing to monitor E2 due to the natural cycle. they only checked progesterone. I think they checked E2 at baseline but that was it. With my first daughter, I felt her more like 15-16wks which is pretty normal for first timer, with my twins, I felt them around 12-13wks, so that is what I expected, but this time it was like 11 weeks and I knew that is what it was! Yeah, my last OB was way more US friendly...so I am glad I will have the high risk Dr. who will give me an US.

I'm surprised they didn't do an U/S at 12 weeks!! Does the doctor have the ultrasound machine in their office or do they have to send you to an imaging place? My OB has his own ultrasound machine and room so he routinely does scans at each first and early 2nd trimester appt. After 20 weeks, he just does fundal measurements and doppler unless there's some reason to do an ultrasound or he has a wacky patient like me who needs the u/s to be reassured. I didn't need to do biophysical profiles weekly in my third trimester, but he let me get them so I would feel less anxious. It was fun seeing the baby each week and getting confirmation that she was strong and healthy!

  • @Imajin99 love seeing your updates and I can’t wait for you’re anatomy scan! What are you think?

@ladyp0tter I’m still amazed how early you can feel then that’s so amazing!!  I was happy to have the high risk dr as well, I was always nervous and needed to see the baby as much as possible.

@andreamm31 how are you feeling? Have everything crossed for you!

@jaimeH2000 my lining was at a 9 last time and a 7 this time so that’s the only other thing, however they have many success with 7 too.  As we know unfortunately normies don’t always make it :( how are you holding up?

  • @Hopeful_mom Thank you :) It has been scheduled for March 15 so not too far away now.
  • @ladyp0tter March 15th will be here before you know it girl.  Luckily her moving around and the doppler are both ways you can keep your mind at ease until then.  @lmajin99 same day for you girl to get your anatomy scan!  That will be a busy day on this board!

@Hopeful_mom you got plenty of time to increase that lining.  Cant wait to hear how things go for you.  I feel good, just in my 10 day wait.

@hopefuljj I hear you with the roid rage.  That prednisone can be gnarly.  Thanks for the well wishes

@JamieH2000 and @lmajin99  So of course, I went against my better judgment and tested this morning on day 6 and it was completely negative.  But it was with a cheapie, so I know those aren't quite as sensitive and it is likely too early.  I was just hoping I would get lucky.  It didnt mess with my head too bad...just annoying.

I also woke up this morning with a crazy bloody nose.  My nose has been bleeding almost every day.  Anyone who has been on lovenox and aspirin have that happen to them?  Any tips on how to handle them?? Beta is on Monday.  I'm sure I will test again some time this weekend after my negative this morning. Its just gotta turn positive.  I cant imagine this one not working after all these failed attempts.  Something has got to work!  Getting my acupuncture and reiki today for my self care day so hoping that helps keep me nice and calm during my wait.

And it's not uncommon for frozen embryos to take a little extra time at the beginning! Assuming most clinics like to see over 50 (which is generous) on 9 or 10 dp5dt and early on it doubles every 48 hours...a 5 on day 6 (which would be undetectable)  would turn into 80 by day 10. So I think it's too early to count yourself out. And historically, you've not had an issue -getting- pregnant; it's the staying pregnant part that's been problematic.

As far as the nose bleeding, I would just make sure you are in a nicely humidified environment; that's probably all you can do.

I've started on estrogen tabs and am scheduled for 3/19 for a transfer of one of the girls.  I've been trying to do more self care recently ; exfoliated my feet last week haha (with being at home so much with covid, I've been walking around barefoot and my feet need some attention!) and have some bath bombs for a nice hot bath this weekend, too bad no glass of wine. I really need to get back into yoga, but  I'm not even sure my studio is open.

  • @mbradfo2 - Yes, they have a machine, old but they have one. They used it on me at the 9wks appointment. They even put me in the room next to it just like last time and last time they walked me into the US room after my chat with the Dr. which is what I was expecting this past time....nope. Oh well...Just praying that she is growing as she should and that all her parts are where they are supposed to be. I'll find out in 11 days!

  • andreamm31 - I didn't ever have nosebleeds with the lovenox and baby aspirin, but I have heard of that being a (less common) early pregnancy symptom. So it may be a good sign for you, or it could also just be from all the hormones. Good for you for staying optimistic despite the early cheapie; I know what torture that is.  You've got this girl!
