Hard. And pumping sucks. If it's not working, please don't beat yourself up. I pumped 8-10x a day with my first and it wasn't even close to enough milk. This time it was the same thing, and I just pumped a few times a day to supplement and left it at that. I'll be stopping pumping sooner this time, and while the bittersweet part of nursing being over is there, the Not Missing Pumping In The Slightest is also very much there. I feel you so much on wanting to finally have some part of this journey just "work" and be nice and normal and natural. :/ It's okay to grieve the BF relationship you had hoped for; I know I have had to as well...

@hopefuljj@lucyb1954 THIS!!!!! You both are such warrior moms!!! So glad you have such great advice having just gone through this. I think your advice is so spot on and real and vulnerable and I just think all you moms who have done this before us are angels sent here to help us find our way through the infertility journey and postpartum one.
@Hopeful_mom. So pumped for you!! For the TWW, I honestly just tried to stay busy. I rode my peloton (didn't go crazy, did really light workouts) and did gentle yoga . I watched Netflix, took walks, worked in my yard . I meditated, went to acupuncture, got reiki (highly recommend), I journaled. It will be here before you know it girl and then there's a whole lot more waiting we gotta do for each mijournal's.
@mbradfo2 next Friday is soooo soon!! So excited for you. Yah, I was just trying to think if I'll get lucky this time around. By this point with my last pregnancy, I was so nauseous already, it started immediately, which is why I think the super high hcg had something to do with it. Haven't even had a hint of nausea yet. Another interesting thing is I get my B6 , B12, and folate tested every 6 months because I've had B6 Toxicity a few times in my life (last in 2016) due to my MTHFR mutation. I've had my levels all in normal range for years and suddenly my B6 is 370!!! Up from 67 last October. Highest it has ever been. The methylation pathways for B vitamins is also same pathway that I believe estrogen and histamine are on . Im thinking the estrogen and prednisone binded or blocked something up and caused m B6 to soar. Also I stopped taking my liposomal glutathione because you can't take it during pregnancy and that also helps my detoxification pathways. I gotta find a naturopath/functional med doctor to help me navigate this. I emailed a few tonight But usually with severe nausea, they tell you to take B6....so maybe I will get lucky and my super stores of extra B6 will help with nausea too. Haha

@andreamm31- amazing numbers. This has to be it. I started with twins last time and I don’t feel sick until 5-5/6 weeks. I think the nausea will come!!
@lucyb1954- congrats, she is beautiful!! I’m sorry for the complicated birth I totally get the disappointment. And pumping is soo hard. Give yourself some grace. I agree with the others- that in a few months or years, it won’t feel quite as big of a deal. Not to diminish your feelings at all tho. I still grieve the time I lost with my son in the nicu for the first month and not seeing him for the first 24 hours and breatfeeedjng never working for us bc of his acid reflux. But, two years later he is perfect and healthy and all I ever wanted.
@hopeful_mom- yay for PASP!!! I sure hope this is your second miracle!! Will you be testing early?
@mbradfo2- wow, transfer already this week!! Amazing!!! So glad your lining is looking good.
im being superstitious this time and not talking about my cycle in hopes for better news. I’ll share good news when there is good news hopefully

6 months from now, 1 year...or 3 years like I am now!...it just keeps getting better, despite the challenges. I ended up deciding not to breastfeed after birth because I was worried about my risk for PPD (and I did get it) and wanted my doctors to feel free to give me the medicine they thought was best without worrying about if it passed in BM -- so I could be my best self for my baby. My sister, who did not go through IF and had two babies while I was on this lovely journey, had horrible horrible PPA/PPD, struggled with BF'ing + a very colicky baby and it was sorta the story I was working from. Do I think about the loss of BFing? Maybe occasionally, but really, it feels like forever ago now. Now I have a chatty toddler who has interrupted me each time I have sat down to type this post (first time we went for a walk, second time we had a snack, third time we went for another walk! And there was some "quiet time/nap time" in there!) and really, she is everything I could have possibly hoped for -- bright, happy, full of love and sunshine and silliness. It's okay to feel like this is super hard -- it is super hard and you'll be exhausted and just frustrated with everything sometimes...and then your little one will smile or babble at you, and none of it matters anymore. This crap journey you were on, that we've all been on and some of us are still on -- it will all seem like nothing when you watch her take her first steps or hear her say "I love you, mommy." The love I have experienced since the day she has been born - from her and for her and watching my husband be a daddy - is so intense and powerful it can still make me cry. It's freakin' hard -- every day can feel long and like the same thing over and over again, same episodes of paw patrol, same fruit cups for snacks - but there are that moments when you realize just how little it matters that you're exhausted, wearing a dirty shirt and helping your daughter to the potty at 1 am because you just burped under your breath and she cried out, "CLASSY, MOM!". (True story)

@mbradfo2@andreamm31@Hopeful_mom@hopefuljj@JamieH2000@BusinessWife You guys are all the best thank you for all the reassurance and commiseration and all the cheerleading and virtual hugs. It's helpful to hear all the other war(rior) stories! So so grateful for this board.
It's hard and frustrating in these early days sometimes and especially as a first time mom when I feel pretty bewildered most of the time and the last few days, little girl has been super fussy and gassy and anytime I put her down, she just started crying again and those little baby wails are so heartbreaking. And then I tried to get one of those baby carriers to work (the ones that are like soft stretchy sashes) and it was like I needed 8 more hands to figure it out and get little Millie in there and all I wanted to do was fold some laundry whilst also making her happy! She's so little, she doesn't yet fit in regular baby carriers. Poor little thing, I think her system is still figuring it out because she was early (her actual due date is this Wednesday) but man, I just wanted to be able to walk around and do a few things this afternoon. She also seems to have a sixth sense for when I am going to start pumping and starts crying exactly at that moment (Idk, maybe she's trying to tell me something!). I'm still getting the colostrum, so I'll keep doing it a few times a day but it is wearing thin for sure especially when I feel pressed for time already. However, we had one BIG win today which is that little girl started gaining weight! She had been losing weight (more than the doctor had wanted her to) and it had been somewhat worrisome but has gained 4 ounces since her last appointment last week and I am so so so relieved!
@lucyb1954. Congrats on that gain, lil Millie! 💕 Which carrier are you trying to use? I found most of them have tutorials on youtube that help immensely. I found wrapping my baby so intimidating the first time, but once I actually tried it, it was not had hard as I feared. It helped me to practice playing around with it when the baby was happily dozing or playing and NOT when I was even remotely worried about putting her into it. Just getting those couple dry runs in (when no one is screaming to be comforted) helped so much! And then if you want, you can just pop her in and out pretty easily, as long as it's snug enough to start with, you shouldn't have to keep re-wrapping it each time (throughout the day). I also ended up putting an inexpensive little baby rocker in the basement tho, so she had a safe cozy place for me to set her if I were trying to do anything heavy enough where I didn't feel secure wearing her. Sounds like you are doing great 😊 She is so lucky to have you, mama!
OMG she is ADORABLE! Congrats mama! As my good friend who is a midwife once told me, you can have the most perfect and detailed birth plan ever and things are never going to go according to the plan. My delivery of my first was a total shit show too.... literally, he came out in a river of mecomium and had to go immediately to the peds team before we could see or touch him. I don't know who is having these beautiful, peaceful, uncomplicated birth experiences but I'm not completely sure they exist. Delivering a baby, especially the first time, is a scary, messy, crazy experience. Give yourself a pat on the back, you got through it! I know those first weeks are exhausting and emotional, but man if you've got an adorable, healthy little girl I say do everything you can to focus on that and don't look back.
Hopeful_mom - During the 2WW in the evenings I would find implantation or fertility meditations on youtube and just lay there with my hands on my lower stomach and try to visualize the embryo implanting. Some that I found were better than others but it was relaxing and at least I felt like I was doing something productive even if there is probably no science to back it up.
@andreamm31- I never felt any nausea with my first. I felt great the whole pregnancy. Maybe you'll get lucky and be the same way!
@mbradfo2- Happy transfer week to you! Can't wait to hear updates.
AFM:
I have a little over two weeks left! I had some drama with my sister; we're having my mom come stay with us/help out since we have a toddler either when I go into labor or when I am induced, this has been the plan for months, but obviously the specifics are all up in the air right now and we'll know more the closer we get to the due date. Well, my sister out of state got all chippy with me about it, demanding to know if and when I'm inducing, when exactly I'm going to have my mom come and how long she's going to stay with us. Like I have control over any of this right now. I finally am like, why do you need to know specific dates right now? Wait for it.... because she wants my mom to dog sit for her around that time. Ummmmm... NO. I'm not going to stress and make decisions about whether and when to induce based on you wanting free dog care. Eye roll.
Did your ped suggest anything for the fussiness? I used to put mylicon drops in my daughter's bottles when she was fussy and it helped some. Also keeping her head elevated and doing bicycle wheels with her legs after a feed to help work the gas out. I would also put my daughter on the boppy pillow in my lap so I could sit at my computer or play a game while she rested. I was never any good at those carriers. My sister gave me one and showed me how to use it, said her babies loved it. Tried it one time with my daughter and she absolutely hated it - AND it took both me and my husband to figure out how to put it on me and put her in it! Gaining weight is a big win!! Esp. since she's a preemie - do they have her on one of the higher calorie formulas? We ended up not having to do it with my daughter (she was 5 weeks early but avoided NICU/nursery and all that, fortunately), but I know it exists! Eventually she'll get to a point where you don't need to wake her for feeds and you'll get a little more rest. The first couple weeks are the hardest; eventually you'll feel like you know what you're doing (mostly). My husband and I divided and conquered once we settled on bottle feeding -- I went to sleep at 8 pm and woke up at 1-2 am; my husband went to sleep when I woke up and slept until 10 am or so (he got 2 months off work for family leave).

Now that I can actually sit down for a little bit -
@andreamm31 I wouldn't be surprised if all of the B6 is staving off some nausea! Crazy how it jumped like that -- did you see that any other cycle or were you just not testing? Most of the studies on B6 and estrogen are mostly about the benefits, but I'm curious if there are any reports of transient B6 blood level increases during artificial estrogen supplementation or if it was the combo of estrogen + prednisone blocking all the pathways that contributed. You would think there would be more about it considering the proportion of women with MTHFR who are doing IVF or similar treatments and taking antihistamine protocols. Hopefully you have enough symptoms to reassure you but not enough that you are feeling crappy all the time!!
@c-town18 Jeez, that close! Exciting! Time seems to pass so quickly (and yet so slowly). Sister drama is always fun...
@BusinessWife Wow, number 3 maybe on the horizon!! Hopefully 3 girls haha that sounds like alot of fun (although when they get to be teenagers...). Our embryos are all girls so if we're successful, we'll continue our family's tradition of all girls. Now to go to see if DD put more of the popcorn she spilled back into the bowl...I told her I would get her more popcorn if she picked it up and put it back in the bowl, so she quickly put two pieces in the bowl and said, "I'm done!" and I was like, "Nope, need more than two pieces. Try again!"

@mbradfo2 omg, Right? The dream I'm still holding onto is three girls, and a boy at the end! Lol it's all girls on SILs side too, so I know that little boy would be like a golden child lmao. I don't really care, I love my girls and I'm already luckier than I deserve. :) I just want ALL THE BABIES. lol It always sounds like you guys are having so much fun! I love it. Meanwhile, I am over here leaning into the screentime with our French learning songs lol 🤣 She can already count to 10 forwards and backwards in French (but she does Absolutely Nothing on demand. 🙄) Also over here like, can this stupid pandemic thing please be over now? cos I got a little girl here in desperate need of some ballet lessons. Pls + tku. We have fun ☺️☺️☺️ We have a friend to give them riding lessons as well, so my bougie self is pretty much set. 👍 That's just how we roll lol
@BusinessWife Ballet lessons here too please!! Anne loves "dancing dancing" and twirling around. Oh, we get PLENTY of screentime here or else Mommy would be insane. I've held off on the French for now since she just doesn't seem interested in it, but wow, those educational apps actually do teach alot!! But this is my time each day -- clean up after dinner and retreat to my office, sometimes open the door to the patio and enjoy the spring breezes. Need to start swimming lessons for her soon and then piano when she's a bit older (but I think they teach as young as 3 with the Suzuki method) -- pretty bougie over here, haha. We have alot of fun though -- mommy's sorta a former free spirit and things might run a little wild from time to time lol. But that's why paint is washable and baths exist. We were out in the sprinkler at 10 AM today and just starting to wind down now, whew.

@mbradfo2 best of luck on your transfer, that came faster then you expected? Anne definitely seems like a character full of energy! We just recently started with paint and I need to get more, didn't realize how fast it would all go in one sitting
@JamieH2000 thinking of you sending good vibes and waiting to hear good news!
@LadyPotter how are you doing? Do you have an appt coming up?
andreamm31 that MTHFR is just so damn tricky there are sooooo many different mutations I always find it so interesting to hear what people have to do because of it. I'm still trying to understand mine even though the dr said it was nothing to worry about...yea ok! G-d bless you for getting exercise done I'm lucky to get a walk in these days. I hate that the progesterone plays tricks on your body cause i feel tired all the time...but that's nothing new.
@lucyb1954hopefuljj always has a way with words and turley nailed it, she's right on! You're doing great! And like @c-town18 said I'd love to meet anyone that had there birth plan go exactly as they planned. I didn't think I'd be screaming cut the baby out already...but I did! Fed is best and you can never go wrong with that! The beginning is hard especially with those feeding to help them gain weight I was right there with you....it'll be a distant memory soon enough!

@Hopeful_mom No symptoms is not a bad thing! I had almost none both times, but felt out of breath on the steps. I'm like, gosh either I'm getting older and more out of shape by the minute or... Lol Amazing how such a tiny little stowaway can hijack things. But I seriously didn't put 2+2 together that it was even a symptom, because otherwise I felt completely normal! 🤷 When is beta / how soon do you think you will test...?
@Hopeful_mom If you can, get the big paint tubs that are designed for kids' art classes, keep them in a closet and then pour it into smaller plastic jars as needed. I really like using finger paints because they are super washable. I also got a box of crafting goodies for kids -- pipe cleaners, poofy balls, felt shapes, etc - and I have some glue sticks out for putting them on construction paper. Mostly those get turned into tiaras and such. I have one of those little tikes plastic kiddie picnic tables on my screened patio and everything stays out there. I'm actually adding a sand/water table to the patio soon (I have it, we just have to put it together) so it's really an awesome place to hang out when it's nice. Anne is basically like me as a child. My mom enjoys joking about it being karma (I guess it is). So, 95% of the time, a silly creative ball of fun -- and then that 5% or maybe 10% is SUPER DRAMA QUEEN.

@BusinessWife you know at this point we start to over analyze every single thing! I was looking back at photos and noticed that I had a photo during my TWW where I had a bad break out on my chest SO that probable was a symptom too...nothing like that this go around yet! UGH you try so hard to stay hopeful but its just soooo hard! I've always tested but now with this last one not having a good outcome I think I might be chicken too. Monday is beta.
@mbradfo2 Can I send my kid to your daycare Thanks for the suggestions, I'm so limited on space, I would love a water table for her...right now it what I make up with our containers and bottles but she stull has a good time! I have to look again for a good Kraft kit, everything was too pricey the last I looked it. You know how parents wish you have one just like you...my LO was being a terror for a diaper change there was a mess everywhere and was just continuing to fight the change... I told my mom don't do it, don't say the quote

Catching up with everyone @Hopeful_mom How are you doing and feeling? When is your beta? @lucyb1954 Congratulations, she is a beauty. Hope you are feeling well. Sorry to hear things didn't go as planned with the birth. You are such a wonderful mother and I would not stress about the BF as others have mentioned. You will love and nurture her in the most perfect and best way possible. c-town18 Wow how quickly time has come for you, wishing you all the best for the big day. Sorry to hear that you have a sister that was not being very considerate. As they say you cannot pick family. It will be so nice to have your mom with you. mbradfo2 good luck with you transfer @LadyPotter How are you doing? how did your scan go I think it was scheduled for earlier this week. @JamieH2000 always rooting for you. Sending you some positive vibes for whenever your transfer may be. andreamm31 How are you doing and feeling? Have any symptoms kicked in as of yet? Hoping the weeks are passing quickly till your scan.
AFM:
Sorry I meant to update the group earlier but have had some things going on with the family. My anatomy scan was on Monday and baby was not co-operating so they could only complete half the measurements. OBGYN says what they measured was normal and fine (happy to hear this). I have been booked for a follow up scan late next week in the morning so hoping baby is in the right position then. Kind of of worked out well as this one will take place at the hospital and I am able to bring my hubby with me. This will be the first appointment he will be able to be with me and see everything in person. Still feeling good and over half baked now. Had to have my half baked B&J ice-cream this week. Due to some risk factors I've already been tested and diagnosed with GD so will be going to the Diabetes clinic soon. Will let you know how the results of my 2nd anatomy scan and hopefully we can find out the the sex of the baby.
I had the same thing happened with my anatomy scan. Baby girl just wasn't cooperating (she's a stubborn one!). Everything that they did see was fine. My dad reassured me between the scans that, "Nothing happens in a vacuum" - and if there was something seriously wrong with the other organs/measurements, there would have been other markers or things that weren't quite right. Had the next scan and all was well. And obviously, baby girl is perfect and about to turn 3 now :-)

This baby wouldn't cooperate for the AS either! They were able to eventually get all the measurements but we only got two photos and one is of her feet. At the end of the day I was happy that the scan was so boring (DS's scan was legit traumatic - everything turned out fine but we discovered there that he only had one functioning kidney) but I felt like I barely got to see her and I don't have another scan until 32 weeks at the earliest.

How nice is that, your hubby will get to be there afterall! @Imajin99 I do think that's quite common not to have baby at a good angle (that happened to us with her heart! But mostly things all looked clear enough they were not concerned. Ended up getting an echo on her after she was born, just to be extra, but I agree - nothing happens in a vacuum.). I would totally be focusing on the silver lining that not you both get to go together! How exciting! GL<div> @laurad75 Ah! Thank you! It feels scary / exciting to be back. I missed you, too!!! How come no one is posting over on PAIF? We used to do trimester checkins over there, and then whenever we had a baby boom, the New Mommies thread would start up too. Nice to see so many preggos and new babies around here!!! How are you feeling?</div><div> </div>
@BusinessWife funny you should mention that. I’m actually going to start a New thread on PAIF Monday if no one else does.

@mbradfo2 I just happened to have tested when i did because i wanted to make sure everything was good to go...but i tested when i was prepping for transfer in October and when i was pregnant last April and my B6 was normal both times. Only difference this time is prednisone
@Hopeful_mom so excited to hear about your beta! cant wait for monday! I know, my MTHFR has always been tricky with my B6 specifically, as my new naturopath said on the phone "Its my Tell", like thats the clue when something is off in my body. Hopefully she can get to the bottom of whats going on.
@lmajin99 at least part of the scan looked good! hopefully baby cooperates next time and you get the full picture! No symptoms for me besides sore boobs and tired. Ill soak this in as long as I can.
@laurad75 crazy that happened to you too, but thank god for a boring AS. Only good things and good news from here on out!
AFM: just patiently waiting till monday for my ultrasound. I got asked if i would participate in a clinical trial for a new type of early "non-invasive" chromosome test they can do as early as 6 weeks and just involved swabbing the cervix. Ummmmm, how on earth is that "non-invasive" hahaha. I said ok since they were going to do an ultrasound anyways and be up there. But i will never see the results as its a clinical trial. Just thought I would share that as its really interesting. I will say, and Im sure a lot of you agree, having had a chromosomal abnormality on my last OE pregnancy, it would have helped me mentally prepare if I knew that from the beginning and being mentally prepared to know my pregnancy may not last. Obviously, this one is PGS tested so i already know what I need to know, I think thats why they are doing it at fertility offices, because they know who is PGS tested.
Update on @ladyp0tter , so she got off the Bump, some girls on the first and second trimester boards were really rude to her and she decided she needed to just delete her account, so she told me to post for her. She is 16 + weeks and doing great. She finally had her ultrasound with the MFM specialist and everything looks good so far. She is having a girl! That will be girl #4! She is feeling good and happy! Seeing her having an uncomplicated pregnancy with our donor is helping me to feel more positive! Praying i follow her footsteps

Hi everyone! Just checking in and catching up on updates. Putting everything in a spoiler just cuz there's lots of baby talk plus it's really long.
A friend of mine compared having a newborn to living in a casino...you have no concept of day or time, all you can do is really look at the hand in front of you (which is feeding/changing/burping an infant!). Definitely feels true to me, the days kind of pass in a blur. @c-town18 I like how you put it -- just focus on a healthy kiddo and don't look back! It's hard because I wanted to participate in all the sort of rites of motherhood after waiting for so long to have one, but there's just honestly not anything I can do about the lack of milk except accept that that's what it is right now and appreciate that my SO can help with night feedings and give me a bit more sleep. The anxiety has definitely worked me over in the last couple of weeks and it's hard to see out sometimes. In conjunction with a lack of sleep, it's hard to feel like a normal human being and have a balanced perspective. Also, FWIW, I have a sister who sounds exactly like yours!!! Love her to pieces, but it's definitely a trial sometimes... @andreamm31 Sorry to hear about ladypotter!!! I haven't posted on anything but the PAIF and Low AMH boards and always found them welcoming so I'm sorry to hear she didn't have a good experience. I always felt more at home in the IF community. I'm thinking about you and sending all good wishes/hugs/vibes for Monday!!! I'm sure it's felt like a loooong week. It is definitely reassuring that ladypotter's pregnancy is going well, very excited to hear that! @Imajin99 Hi!!!! Wow, your pregnancy is going so fast (at least to me!). Sorry your baby wasn't participating in the anatomy scan. As others have mentioned, that has totally happened to me where baby girl just was stubborn and not having anything to do with the scan. So excited to learn the sex! How is your pregnancy going? Feeling okay? Thanks so much for the good wishes via DM @Hopeful_mom Hope everything is going well for you - when is beta? @mbradfo2 Your LO is adorable! thanks for the idea about the boppy! Lifesaver. Since I'm not BF I had kind of set it to the side but with her in it I can at least do some emails etc. Good news is that little girl is gaining weight like a champ (5 ounces since Monday) so it won't be too long til she's okay in most carriers. The pediatrician did also recommend simethicone/gas drops for baby girl, as well as switching formulas. She definitely heard a lot of gas in Millie's tummy and I'm anxious to get her feeling better although we had to take her in to the dr today because she clearly had an eye infection that I have no idea where she got it. She was crying almost inconsolably last night, which the dr thinks was due to the gas. @BusinessWife Wow, number 3?!? I always envisioned myself with two kids but after the last couple of weeks, the postpartum anxiety, etc, I wonder if I'll be up for another one. I don't really know how people manage an infant plus toddlers without their brains exploding! I had tried the Lillebaby Butterfly sash thing but I think I'm going to send it back...I looked at the tutorials and tried it with Millie but the material is so stretchy it doesn't seem to hold her that well or provide any neck support for her. I'm also realllly uncoordinated at that kind of thing and just kind of generally nervous as a FTM so maybe it's just not for me. I don't have a whole lot of experience with very wee infants and I still feel anxious about having her in something that doesn't feel quite stable. I've also been meaning to post on the PAIF board but just haven't gotten around to it as time is limited and the Low AMH board is kind of my home base.
Yeah, the gas can get really uncomfy for them so hopefully the drops and maybe a formula change helps. We used Similac Sensitive which seemed to help some. You can also use anti-colic bottles which help reduce the amount of air she swallows. We settled on Avent's anti-colic bottles but every baby has their own preferences! That, formula change, bicycle pumping on the legs and time are really the best things you can do. Ick on the eye infection - I guess the doc wants to do some drops? - babies can really pick up these things anywhere, no matter your best efforts. They rub something in their eye from the couch or their pack n'play, dirt from the stroller, etc. You'll find that children are really good at doing the most bizarre things that are not necessarily hygienic. Last night when I was reading my daughter's favorite book to her, she decided that she would pretend to gobble up the blueberries in the pictures and was practically licking the book (it's a book about kids eating blueberries). Feel free to message me if you ever have any questions re: formulas or bottle-feeding; we had a variety of issues we had to deal with between gas, silent reflux, falling asleep during feeds as a tiny baby, gobbling formula as a bigger baby.

Hi Ladies! Thanks for the much needed encouragement, I have to say doubts have been creeping in through the week so I truly have been taking all your posts into account, thanks!! Tomorrow is the big Beta day!! My friend and I were just saying I can't believe they haven't come up with a faster way to get the blood results done, the wait for the phone call will be grueling!!!
@andreamm31 I'm sorry but I'm horrified that people still suck ugh trolls! Why I never venture our of IF boards either...thrilled for the good update though! Exciting she new she had another princess on the way, please send her all the best! Only expecting good things tomorrow. I've really been having doubts but trying so hard not to give in to them! Can't wait for your US update!! Very interesting about the clinical trial...it makes sense, just so interesting how things evolve....yet still a blood test that takes forever!
mbradfo2 now its your turn, sending extra sticky vibes your way, how are you managing?? Definitely with a toddler it gets interesting! Hope we get to be bump buddies!!
@Imajin99 its so exciting how fast your pregnancy is flying by, I'm sorry your anatomy scan wasn't as successful as you had hoped, maybe she's just a lady not wanting to share It's like your very own gender reveal party, when do you go back? I wish I had all these symptoms to report but I've never been one of those till later on. I'm tired but aren't we all!! Really trying to stay positive.
@lucyb1954 - Glad things are going well...as well as they are expected too. Gaining wait is great! Your friends comparison is pretty spot on too. I will share with you that right after I was born and we left the hospital and went straight to the pediatrician for an eye infection that I developed. Hopefully it clears up in a few days.
AFM: Beta is tomorrow so trying to stay positive...spoiler alert I did test with an expired test and I think theres a squinter....its such a squinter u can barely see it...i'm gonna try and post a pic... however last time it was stark white so I'll try and believe its real. At least it can give me some hope till tomorrow!

@JamieH2000 I haven't decided on testing yet! My clinic does 10 dpt testing so it will come up pretty quickly either way. I think the 10dpt mark is next Monday (eee). 7 dpt is DD's bday so we'll see. I wouldn't test before 7 dpt. Started having some boob soreness last night and into this morning, and was super tired this AM so dozed a little while DD played on her tablet in her room. Good vibes for you on whatever step you are on
I really want some shrimp fried rice. That's been on my mind since last night lol. And a bowl of wonton soup.

@mbradfo2 Aaah! I missed that you were in your TWW -- blame my addled brain and hands that are full of a colicky newborn. GL, rooting for you! I did at least totally master a baby carrier this morning! We got the Ergobaby Embrace Newborn carrier and although it's technically for 7lbs and above and Millie is 6lbs, she feels super secure and I feel like I am totally winning! My shoulders, back and neck are so much happier and mama is drinking coffee after being up all night with a gassy little one. Plus I also feel like a genius (the bar is low for me right now!).
@lucyb1954 giving me all the feels with your update! how great is that coffee! So sorry about the colick thats a whole new ballgame, you're crushing it mama!! @andreamm31 can't wait for your update!! @mbradfo2 i must say it really sounds like you've got a busy lil bee in there @jamieh2000 sending you constant good juju my friend!! @BusinessWife congrats - you are really ready to get on the baby train again awesome!! G-d bless you!! Imajin99 thank you!! I love we have so many things to still look forward to this week!
AFM: update in spoiler! Thanks for all the good wishes - its appreciated and needed!!
AFM: Finally got the call after waiting forever in the office just to have my blood taken...it is positive and I am pregnant! I'm so excited and so was the nurse that she didn't tell me the number till I asked her. She literally was giving me instructions and hanging up on me...its 34, so now I see why. Including day of transfer I'm 10dpt and they usually like it over 50, so of course I'm concerned to say the least! I know it can go either way but why can't i be one of the lucky ones that it can work for, right! I know its really about the numbers doubling now, so come on baby!! I ask you to all continue to keep my lil peanut and I in your prayers! It is positive and that's what we needed to get this party started!

AFM:
I started bleeding yesterday afternoon and luckily Ive had a few friends who have had subchorionic hemorrhages so I stayed calm, put myself on bedrest and tried my best to relax. It slowed down overnight. I signed my consents for the new study they are doing but I don't know if my doctor forgot to do the swab or just didnt want to put me through it knowing I was bleeding. They said they would do it in 2 weeks. I even got a $50 gift card from study company. But little girl was in there, along with a decent size subchorionic hemorrhage. We even saw a heartbeat. She didnt give me a number, but said it was fast. She is measuring right on target at 6 weeks 1 day. So we have 2 weeks till our next milestone. Cautiously optimistic. And thank god she is letting me stop the lovenox! Hopefully with that stopped the SCH will clot off on its own.

@andreamm31 I'm so delighted to see your update! Yes, SCH's are not fun but you're doing what you can on your end - taking it easy and relaxing. I bet stopping the lovenox will help and hopefully it will be in the rearview mirror in a few weeks. Great that little girl is on target and awesome that you could see the heartbeat! One milestone down. I remember after that first good scan feeling elated for a few hours and then back in the pit of anxiety until the next scan. But as of today, everything is going well and you can be grateful for that!
@Hopeful_mom Just a day at a time. I remember @c-town18 's low starting beta and she's about ready to deliver! FX for you and the little bean!
@lucyb1954 You have achieved what I have not -- successfully putting on a baby carrier lol. She should be all snug as a bug now and you can have your hands free! Between that and the boppy, it should be pretty freeing! That break with a cup of caffeine of your choice is always amazing; enjoy it!!
Sorta feeling like I might test early, but we'll see!
Just got the toppers for DD's cake so I'll drop them off tomorrow and pick up the cake on Thursday! All of this is helping to distract me from symptom spotting, to be honest.

I also had spotting through at least half the pregnancy, scary but thankful to go through it and know all can still be perfect in the end! Yay no more lovenox!!

Early days can be so.
But it really does just keep getting better and better... ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Hang in there, mama.

Haha

Putting a spoiler for gushing and commiserating -
It's okay to feel like this is super hard -- it is super hard and you'll be exhausted and just frustrated with everything sometimes...and then your little one will smile or babble at you, and none of it matters anymore.

@andreamm31- I never felt any nausea with my first. I felt great the whole pregnancy. Maybe you'll get lucky and be the same way!

AFM:

@andreamm31
I wouldn't be surprised if all of the B6 is staving off some nausea!
@c-town18
Jeez, that close! Exciting! Time seems to pass so quickly (and yet so slowly). Sister drama is always fun...
@BusinessWife
Wow, number 3 maybe on the horizon!! Try again!"

Ballet lessons here too please!!
Silliness in spoiler

@BusinessWife awwww yay lets keep the party going while you can, no reason you can't get your dreams right! lord knows we have all worked hard enough for them! I do enjoy your bougie life
@mbradfo2 best of luck on your transfer, that came faster then you expected?
I hate that the progesterone plays tricks on your body cause i feel tired all the time...but that's nothing new.
tangerine32 has your cycle started?
@lucyb1954hopefuljj always has a way with words and turley nailed it, she's right on! You're doing great! And like @c-town18 said I'd love to meet anyone that had there birth plan go exactly as they planned. I didn't think I'd be screaming cut the baby out already...but I did! Fed is best and you can never go wrong with that! The beginning is hard especially with those feeding to help them gain weight I was right there with you....it'll be a distant memory soon enough!
AFM: Feeling no symptoms but trying not to read into it too much as I really didn't have many the times I got my positives too, it was only sore boobs and with BF, I always have sore boobs so that doesn't really help!

If you can, get the big paint tubs that are designed for kids' art classes, keep them in a closet and then pour it into smaller plastic jars as needed.

@Hopeful_mom How are you doing and feeling? When is your beta?
@lucyb1954 Congratulations, she is a beauty. Hope you are feeling well. Sorry to hear things didn't go as planned with the birth. You are such a wonderful mother and I would not stress about the BF as others have mentioned. You will love and nurture her in the most perfect and best way possible.
c-town18 Wow how quickly time has come for you, wishing you all the best for the big day. Sorry to hear that you have a sister that was not being very considerate. As they say you cannot pick family. It will be so nice to have your mom with you.
mbradfo2 good luck with you transfer
@LadyPotter How are you doing? how did your scan go I think it was scheduled for earlier this week.
@JamieH2000 always rooting for you. Sending you some positive vibes for whenever your transfer may be.
andreamm31 How are you doing and feeling? Have any symptoms kicked in as of yet? Hoping the weeks are passing quickly till your scan.

@laurad75 Ah! Thank you! It feels scary / exciting to be back. I missed you, too!!! How come no one is posting over on PAIF? We used to do trimester checkins over there, and then whenever we had a baby boom, the New Mommies thread would start up too. Nice to see so many preggos and new babies around here!!!

Thanks so much for the good wishes via DM
@Hopeful_mom Hope everything is going well for you - when is beta?
@mbradfo2 Your LO is adorable!
I've also been meaning to post on the PAIF board but just haven't gotten around to it as time is limited and the Low AMH board is kind of my home base.

mbradfo2 now its your turn, sending extra sticky vibes your way, how are you managing?? Definitely with a toddler it gets interesting! Hope we get to be bump buddies!!
@Imajin99 its so exciting how fast your pregnancy is flying by, I'm sorry your anatomy scan wasn't as successful as you had hoped, maybe she's just a lady not wanting to share
@c-town18 - how r u feeling?
I haven't decided on testing yet! Good vibes for you on whatever step you are on
@andreamm31

I'm so delighted to see your update!
@Hopeful_mom
Just a day at a time. I remember @c-town18 's low starting beta and she's about ready to deliver! FX for you and the little bean!
@lucyb1954
You have achieved what I have not -- successfully putting on a baby carrier lol.
