I live outside of Cleveland-- it is the cavs home opener tonight and Lebron is back- it has taken over every local station and H got out of work early because he works downtown and the city is completely nuts.

Jameson got to decorate his cookie. Most if the frosting was scraped off and consumed before the cookie made it to his mouth. He had fun though.

Yesterday someone picked their kid up from daycare and drove off with the kid in the front seat on an adult's lap. I told the daycare admin but wasn't sure what else to do. I didn't catch the license plate or anything. I was really shocked and upset.

This is the norm here in Morocco and every single time see it. Which is a lot I get so angry. Worse when I see toddlers standing, yes standing up in the backseat. I'm the crazy one here for having car seats.

Pajama day is supposed to be easy but DH and I love to make things complicated . We tried to pick out pajamas for pajama day and didn't think any of them were warm enough and/or the feet wouldn't fit in her shoes. DH volunteered to go to target to get something better. He said the shopping center was as busy as if it was Christmas. He picked these out.

So - I am pumped. I finished all our family's Halloween costumes!! My mom was hard core doubting me... You know... On account of the newborn--- but I did it!! Suck it, mom! B is a fish, DH is a fisherman, N is a worm and I am a can of worms. I am ridiculously pumped about this.

So I got a series of grease splatter burns all up my neck while tipping onions into hot bacon grease the night before last.  In addition to the total *ouch* that it was at the time, now it just looks like some ugly red marks of acne across my neck.  Sad.

In other news, I'm totally excited about the new sheets that I got at a super awesome discount today.  They're washed and on the bed, but DH is all for watching some more episodes of "Forever".

@kames12‌ I didn't want to post this in the recipe thread, but I just saw the yummy butternut squash soup you posted! I have a really similar recipe (minus the bacon and the curry) and it is fantastic with some cubes of Brie and chives as garnish. Just a thought if you are looking for alternatives to dress up any leftovers you have

DD is going to be tinkerbell. Last night I told DH he should be Peter Pan and put her in his pocket.  )  I told him I would make him a green hat a put a red feather in it. To which he replied, peter pan doesn't have a red feather that's Robin Hood.
