I think I just discovered something else that grosses me out, as per today's GTKY: the term "making love" -- I'm sure it was originally a sweet, intimate phrase, but I feel like it's evolved so much into something that only gross people say when they're trying to be gross. I just came across (for work!) a twitter account for a guy whose last name is Lovell, and his account is MakingLovell and I audibly EWWWWWWWWWW-ed out loud. Could. Not. Help. It.

It's a regular rando. Someone who usually only pops in to tell us we're all wrong but never joins in on the spam. It's not as strong of a dislike as the SS that everyone knows about.

@lizzybean The pics of Blake Lively made me feel TERRIBLE about myself (especially after that coworker comment this morning). Basically I had a very low self esteem day. I LOVE Blake Lively, always have. She is so amazingly gorgeous and just seems so level headed.

@kefttsc‌ I got the kiinde twist system where you pump into the bags (they have screw tops and adapters for different pumps), then you can freeze, then the bags can be defrosted and twisted straight into the bottle. The system "grows" with the kid (the bags are dishwasher safe) and can later be used to make those fruit squeeze things. The starter set was like $100 at buy buy baby but zulily had it for $50 a few weeks ago and I snagged it. Hope that helps

So I got a call about my glucose test results.

My doctor decided to test me early because of some issues I brought up at my appointment Friday. Apparently the glucose test didn't go to well and was a lot higher than it should have been. Alot. So Tomorrow I get to go and take the 3 hour test

So I'm really bummed and worried. I know GD is doable but I think my mom had that and then developed toxemia with me later on. So this really concerns me. I'm also worried this increases my chances of a c-section.

To add to this I don't feel comfortable with not eating all day and having my blood taken 3 times. So I asked MIL if she can drive me to and drop me off and then pick me up later when I'm done. Ohh no shes going to go with me and wait. WTF I was looking forward to some quite kindle time.

I actually prefer snaps. It's easier to change their diapers without getting cold from being unzipped from head to toe. Although DH can not for the life of him figure out all the snaps. I still get handed DS to snap his butt up. Haha.

I'm finally done for the day. Oh my god you guys I'm glad I have a doctors appointment. I picked up a chair today and had the worst BH contraction I've ever had. Like almost brought me to my knees. The chair was MAYBE 5lbs.. Maybe I was just doing too much all day? who knows, but then after I went to the bathroom and definitely noticed a considerable amount of discharge that I don't typically have. Blah, but I have an early appointment tomorrow and an ultrasound so I'm gonna put my feet up and rest tonight and then talk to them tomorrow. I don't have time for this.

I had my GD test today. This was all fine and good until I get called in by some random midwife who then informs me that shes my new midwife...say what?!  I get that sometimes adjustments have to be made or whatever but why am I finding out at the last min. I was so happy to get the same midwife team that delivered DD, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Anyway she was very nice and friendly but now I still have to meet my 2nd midwife. Not the end of the world but very frustrating.

@psychobutthead are you able to make the appointment for first thing in the morning? That way you'd be fasting while you're asleep and throughout testing instead of going all day without eating for an afternoon appointment. GL either way...the test is not as bad as it seems!

I'll probably be able to get there at 7:30 ish for the testing. The only problem is when I go too long without eating I feel sick and like I'm going to pass out. So I don't see tomorrow being a good day.

I started noticing my extra face and neck fat yesterday, today I had to change maternity pants because I'm so freaking wide and I'm unhappy with that. DH said the perfect thing though "you look as beautiful as the day I married you, the day I fell in love with you and the day I met you".

I plan to convince my husband to get this for Audrey's nursery. The walls are dark green, dark purple curtains, and green, white and purple bedding. I think it will brighten things up a little bit (we are unable to paint due to being renters). 

In our last house we put up a cute daisy wallpaper border in Ella's nursery but we are NOT dealing with that nightmare again.
