Morning ladies. I had a terrible terrible sleep last night. I woke up to a hot room and hubs snoring so I carried my blankets downstairs. When I got down there baby was doing acrobatics for at least two hours when I finally did fall asleep I had bad dreams about losing baby and stuff like that. I debated calling in today to get more sleep but maybe keeping my mind busy is a good thing so I can sleep tonight. Hope everyone else had a better night!

I'm with @psychobutthead‌. . Eyes SO gross me out. I duck under whatever blanket/hoodie/sweater I'm near whenever someone touches their eyes near me or on a there is a close up on tv.

Odd thing is *I* can put contacts in. I can't put eye drops in - but contacts are ok. Just no one else is allowed to put contacts in around me lol

On another note, my Mom visited yesterday with both of my Grandmothers in tow! We had a lovely lunch, and they all got to see the nursery.

My spam (trying to consolidate instead of posting 15 afterthoughts like I always end up doing):

1.We start our childbirth classes tonight and I'm quite nervous!  We have no clue what to expect.

2.My parents just got back from FL (they live there about 80% of the year) and they'll be here for a few weeks.  Exciting and hard at the same time.  They expect a LOT of attention.  I plan to get mom to start some sewing projects for me that I've been wanting.  For instance, I'd like her to turn my baby blanket into two blankets for Harper and William.

3. Tomorrow we have a FTM invitation to a Duck Duck Goose consignment sale.  I'm excited and hope to find a great carrier and wrap.

4. Lastly, THIS reminded me of you ladies this morning!!!

I brought a picture to the game! Lately I've been thinking about how long Rosalyn's hair will be by the time she's DS's age (2). Here's a picture of DS at 7 months old before and after his first haircut. I attached the after just to show what a haircut can do. He looks so much older in the second picture.

Been trying to reach a damn nurse or doctor on call all freaking morning today. ROAR. Finally spoke to someone and am getting checked out at 11 to make sure everything is ok.

Have had a lot of watery discharge this morning, light cramping and nausea. I was annoyed at the nurse's attitude when she finally answered the phone. All I could do not to scream at her.

Also spam related, I finally heard back from the DME place, they shipped my pump yesterday and I was able to get the Medela!  I'm so excited.

Today is VDAY for me! I'm so happy to have reached this milestone.. next one is 28w! Although I was so winded today out of nowhere & haven't really felt them move yet this morning. I'm just freaking myself out after the sad news lately here. Prayers are w/ F15 for sure!

QOTD: I can't stand the sound of someone folding a piece a paper & then taking their fingers and going back over the crease. I'm sure I'm explaining it funny.. but I hate that sound. I get chills.

Had our MFM appt yesterday...both girls are still beautiful, perfect and healthy! Despite my minimal weight gain, they're still right on track and I couldn't be happier. PLUS, my blood pressure is back to my normal levels, hooray!! I guess that means more time at work for me!! Have a great Tuesday ladies!

Yaaaayyyy me! I had to work late last night because my boss told me at 4pm that our external auditors would be in today. So I spent a few hours pulling files... and Im back at it today. So yea my day officially sucks.

Good morning! I wasn't active as much yesterday and it wasn't until the insomnia kicked last night from 1-3:30 when I found out about flutterfly's update. I am so sad.

I am glad that elephants is better. I wanted to give big hugs to all the mommies that need them and say good luck to the ones that have appts today!

I had such a weird dream last night. In my dream, my grandmother has this armoire that was a time machine. We got in it and it shook like crazy and it took us back 20 years to Oct 20, 1994. I was like the 50's though. It was so weird.

After the dream I could not go back to sleep and I unintentionally dutch-ovened my son. I didn't know he was completely under the covers.  I also was disappointed when I realized it's only Tuesday and not Wednesday. I need to go back to sleep.

Random question: I have to agree with dogs licking themselves. It is so gross. Then I really get grossed out when my dog drive-by licks my hands. Eww, I know where that tongue was!

Speaking of cute kids, an aside: I remember someone saying earlier that maybe we should have a thread for pics of our kids in their Halloween costumes? I'm totally AWing, because my kid in her costume this year is crazy flat-out adorable, but would this be something that would garner interest? And if so, how close to Halloween would people have pics? (we're totally milking it this year, so we've been to events with her in costume already, haha!)

@mrsclark731 I'm with @mrdcle (not surprising, since I'm from Cleveland!) -- your picture made me straight-up drool. I miss pierogis SO much (they have them in LA... SO not the same) and it's my only must-do besides seeing my family (haha) when I go home. Omg, when I visited home while pregnant with my daughter, I had PIEROGI PIZZA (caps so necessary). I was in heaven!!! Your nana's pierogis look amazing!

OK, my spam is from over the weekend, but I've been in-and-out: I think we finally finalized a name! My husband has been VERY pro-Keira for ages (aka it was his #2 choice for our first daughter), and I love it but just had issues with the spelling. Over the weekend, for some reason, I thought, "hey, wait, can we just drop the E?" and while I honestly detest youneek spellings of names, I both realized that Kira is totally a valid spelling of the name, and is easy to quickly spell out for people who don't know which spelling to use. Plus, and I know this is silly, but: I think a half-Asian, half-Caucasian girl/woman named Kira makes more sense than Keira (I said to my husband... that spelling looks more Asian to me! Him: That's... a good thing, right? ) 

So Kira Noelle it is! I'm SO excited to be able to start thinking about my girl with an actual name!

GTKY: I hate how stereotypically girly this is, but: I cannot deal with bugs. I wouldn't call it as strong as a phobia, but if they're in my house, I especially can't deal. We had a fly infestation about a month ago and I was ready to go live in a hotel. We get the house sprayed quarterly for ants and I would happily eat ramen every day before giving up paying for that. UGH.

I'm getting ready for a 2pm wedding today. It's at the beach and I am so excited to be in the sunshine today. I almost forgot it was garbage day today so I ran outside pulling the bins to the end of the driveway. The garbage man saw me and backed up the truck to help and to take it. I didn't realize I am wearing a tank top and no bra. He was trying SO hard to look anywhere but the obvious. Eating my pancakes and orange, showering, and then I'll be off to the wedding! Busy week for me!

GTKY: I hate the sound of animals licking as well. To the point where when my dog does it near me I make her stop.

@crabigator‌ Thanks!! I did it in Photoshop! I used a chalkboard background and sketchy chalkboard looking fonts and then I distressed the fonts with a low opacity pattern overlays, noise, and the eraser tool to give it a more authentic look. I wish I could do chalkboard lettering myself, but my handwriting sucks! I also have one made up for my weekly bump pic!
