Thanks for the advice everybody. My husband gets mad because I never listen to his medical advice. He doesn't really know peds though. He woke up early today and he looks awful and says his throat hurts really bad so I guess it's to the doctor's we go once they open for sick visits this morning.

I was up at 6 this morning. Why? No idea. Grayson was still sound asleep next to me. We come upstairs and its freezing and my dads tells me the furnace isn't working. So I bundle Grayson up lol I put a sweat shirt on over his jammies and put socks on him. The furnace is working now so I won't be long before Grayson is shedding some layers. Hopefully the day gets better!

Today Bradley and I are going to a 3rd birthday party for one of his classmates. It's 1-3 and there is going to be pony rides...I guess they were hoping kids would choose nap over coming to the party?? Psshh they know nothing, I would skip meals for ponies!!

Ty will be hanging with daddy and then we will all be going to BIL's house tomorrow for swimming in his pool and hopefully food and adult beverages

We're all getting ready together for the bachelorette party that is later tonight. We are going to the royals v red sox game for that and then going out afterwards. Tomorrow we are taking Grayson to his first baseball game. Royals v red Sox game again. I'll be getting my fill of baseball this weekend lol.

I'm doing all of the laundry, my dryer broke so I'm close line hanging my underwear. Thousands of pairs lol. Also my kitchen light is doing a funny thing, my hubs is trying to fix it and there is literally no money to spend on coffee this week, budgeting on one income.. but upside baby is sleeping since 8pm until now and counting. He totally gets awesome mommy needs a break. >-

To all the mommies with sick tods i hope you guys are all feeling better.

I just have to say, I've read most of all threads lately and have to note" you are all awesome moms. Great advice. Ive taken a lot and have gotten some good head ups. My hubs told me today "thanks for asking me if we were both in tune with each other... what does he need that i can't see". I was shocked only because he's so reserved and takes what he gets. But i asked because being busy working, studying for my social work license and baby i sometimes forget to love on him like i used too.

He's so understanding. But ladies seriously this is one of the many things...

@subliminalrabbit‌ DH used to stand outside the bathroom door with the crying baby until I got out of the shower. After a few weeks I told him that he will not (as in, is not allowed to) make me feel guilty for the only 20 minutes I spend on myself, not taking care if anyone else's needs. That seemed to help. I also explained that if the baby is crying, whatever he's doing isn't working and he needs to do something different until the crying stops. And do it somewhere out of earshot

Well, I woke up from my nap this morning with my dad calling me. Their 11 year old Maltese finally succumbed to her CHF last night. She was at the vet because she had been sick and they found her this morning. My mom is beside herself.

Ds has a man cold. His strep test came back negative. I had to fight with him to take some Motrin as he was miserable and crying. He got all worked up that he threw up all over the freaking place. Of course dh is on call this weekend and doing rounds this weekend so I get to deal with this all by myself. Fun, fun.

I've heard some kids have reactions to the mmr or varicella vaccine but ds1 never had any issue to it. Ds2 is getting his at his 15 mo appt. my boys seem to get cranky when they get the prevnar vaccine.

Bradley didn't even make it until 7! Passed out asleep on me at 6:45 after his first no nap day meanwhile Tyler worked on perfecting his twirls dancing to All About That Bass
