Maple, obviously no one has had their baby because there is a requirement that they will immediately let the cd board know that they are in labor AND they will be giving real time updates as they give birth. I see neither of those things this morning and obviously these girls would never dream of having a baby without involving us
It's going to happen today guys! I requested all the babies be born on Friday!
My husband is so convinced I am going to go on my own this weekend before my induction on Monday. The first thing he said to me this morning was "do you have any cramping?". Good Morning to you too?
Once again the contractions I felt last night faded off and lead to nothing. Now I feel nothing, we'll see about tonight ...
ETA: @stoneycakes I feel like Friday would be the worst day for all these babies to come. By the time we got them home we'd have to wait a whole week to flaunt their first fluff pics! (That's really my goal for all of my baby-having, flaunting adorable newborn fluff)

No, because we could see pictures right away( new babies don't need to wait for Friday, right?) and then have a excuse to see them again on Friday!
False alarm y'all. My contractions died down too. FX @stoneycakes is right and today is the day. I prefer to have babies over the weekend, the hospital is less crowded.

My husband is all about a weekend baby. He thinks it would just be more convenient for our out-of-town families to visit. I don't really want hospital visitors, I want to bond with my baby and I don't plan to be in the hospital too long to have tie for a stream of visitors in and out.
My induction is scheduled for the holiday Monday, so hopefully by the time the baby is out and we feel ready for visitors it will be "back to work Tuesday". For me it is ideal timing. It being the long weekend, I wonder how busy the hospital will be ...
I kinda don't want to go into labour this weekend now... BIL and his GF will be here for the long weekend... I don't feel like putting on a show for anyone.

Speaking of less crowded, my hospital hasn't had a baby in a week and no one (besides me) is due for for about 2 weeks. DH is apparently excited about the prospect of running naked through the hallways.
I had DS over Memorial Day weekend and there was no one else in the L&D wing. It was really nice to have the extra privacy.

DS was born on a random Thursday. It was so crowded, I had to sit in the waiting room for over an hour with full-blown contractions before they could find me a room in L&D.

What's the opposite of a love penis? A hate vagina? This gets a HV.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure my vagina was doing some serious hating...especially when DH left me alone to go find himself a coffee.

Grrr! Guys just don't get it sometimes. Have you told him no coffee runs while you're in the waiting room this time around?
I've totally started feeling flutters, no question about it.
Freaking kid gave me a scare last night because her heartbeat has been located solely on the right side of my ute and I looked for about five minutes and couldn't find it at all. Apparently she flipped all the way over to the other side, though, because the second I touched the wand to the left side we heard it going.
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
I took a mile long walk at lunch today since it's gorgeous outside. Hoping that helps get things started. Lots of pressure at my pelvis, but thinking it's just LO foolin' around and not actual contractions.
Not I. Am I the only one who has a really hard time telling the difference between real contractions, BH contractions, and baby just pushing REALLY hard on stuff?

OMG yes me. I thought it would be easier to discern after being in real labor, but no? My attitude is that if I can't tell then I'm good to keep doing what I'm doing.
Well, I think I remember last time definitely knowing that it was real. And I know that nothing I have felt today has really been like what I was feeling last night. The ones last night were making me sweat, and get that OMG I can't take it anymore type feeling. So I guess those are real contractions.

This is me too! I can't tell if I'm feeling actual contractions starting to happen every 10 min or so, or if I'm so desperate for things to happen that I'm making it up in my head.
I'm also sitting in the same spot and afraid of I get up, the "regular contractions" will stop. But I really want an Oreo shake...so that might win out.
Do we need to start doing hourly ute checkins? Somebody have a baby already! Maybe we've given all these little guys stage fright. They are scared to come out because everyone will be looking at them.
We had a false alarm last night. Honestly thought my contractions would increase so we left DD at grandma's for the night. What a waste. Still no progress this morning. :-(
If any of you want to hold out and have the baby at the end of May on PipSqueak and my birthday, it will guarantee that you have a brilliant, easy-going, STTN @ 2 weeks, beautiful little baby! C'mon. You can squeeze your legs together a little longer for all that goodness, right?
I'm feeling a bit crampy today, but I think I just need to have a good poop. My husband REALLY wants me to go before my induction Monday. We just got back from grocery shopping and the whole time he was trying to think of the spiciest foods we could have for dinner just to "see if that works" to get labour started.
I told him if I am going to go on my own, knowing my luck, my water will break the morning of my induction. lol.

Part of me wants to go into labour naturally. Part of me kinda likes that an induction is scheduled for Thursday. I'll know that on that day I don't need to worry about my water breaking randomly anymore, or not being able to get to the hospital in time, since it's so far away.
