OMG lol I didn't actually do it, but one of the numerous times I woke up last night I wanted to check my iPad, and my thought was 'Most labor seems to start happening at night when the mom is completely relaxed....' Only reason I didn't was because the light would wake everyone else up.

Is Berry Berry Kix full of artificial colors?  I used to love me some trix and fruit loops and stuff, but then @nana_osaki06 freaked me out about all the artificial colors and how they affect kids.

Synchronized birthing update: My OB just scheduled me for an induction Monday morning, so if this doesn't get going over the weekend, he'll be here some time on the 19th or 20th.

Not really how I wanted this to happen, but it is nice to have a baby date.

Yay @RachelCA29!  I know an induction isn't what you wanted, but there is still time for LO to make an appearance.  It's nice to have that eviction date though... maybe just knowing the end is in sight will be enough to get LO to come on out!

@TJ1979 That's what I'm hoping! Now that it is booked, and I spent time to make arrangements to take our dog to boarding from Sunday to Tuesday, I will finally go on my own and he'll make his appearance despite my plans.

I'm feeling pretty positive about it even if I have to b induced Monday, I'm already at 4 cm, so that's a pretty good place to start for an induction.

Ugh. I just got back from my 40+1 appointment and still no progress since the last 2 weeks (1-2cm). :-<

I feel like this kid is never going to get here!

Like a wise, wise woman told me today... you could be 3 cm today and have 2 weeks to go, or you could be 0 dilated and have a baby in your arms by midnight. 

FX for you (and all of us on or past our due date!)  It's a full moon, these babies have GOT to come soon!

@mapleme First of all, nice flowers.

Secondly, yay, I was wondering how it went!  I measured 37 for the last 3 measurements, so I had an u/s today too, and also hadn't had one since the a/s.  My fluid was 16.9 (juicy!) and she's measuring 7 lb 13 oz.  That's so funny that happened to both of us today!  High five!

They were way off with DD1 for me too. 2 weeks out, they said she was 9 lbs. She was born at 40 wks and 8 lbs exactly.

Heh When I told my mom about my induction date, she told me to eat Chinese food. I have no idea why she thinks that would help me go before Monday. Mexican kind of makes sense ... but Chinese food?

My husband halfheartedly tried nipple stimulation last night. But he was also watching Deadliest Catch, so he wasn't really committed to making it work. Maybe we'll try again tonight without the crab fishermen ...

Make a big mess of your home. The kind that you wouldn't want to come home from the hospital to. And then unpack your hospital bag. Then make big plans that are hard to cancel for the weekend -- bonus points for spending tons of nonrefundable money. You'll have that baby out in a matter of hours.

I guess my belly has decided to root for all you ladies on the Synchronized Contraction Team by going into crazy BH mode tonight. DS2 is also kicking for all he's worth. My pastie tassels are flopping around like goldfish on dry land.

You guys, I was trying to nurse Hunter to sleep. He was so tired and every time I giggled it startled him awake and he screamed and screamed. So I put the phone down so I wouldn't giggle. It didn't work. All I could see was Stoney pasties. Poor kid screamed like 5 or 6 times before I got it under control.

@TJ1979 - Happy Due Date!


I've been having contractions for about an hour... but they aren't super painful or timeable really.  I was induced last time... so I'm not really sure what to expect with regards to going into labour on my own/how painful contractions should be to be 'real' without being on pitocin...

I'm hoping it's gonna mean something real, and not just getting me excited for nothing.

But... also I will be really freaked out if baby is born tomorrow.

Last time DH called the DD's birthdate and time within 3 minutes (3 months ahead of time) because he had something he didn't want to do that night for work.  This time when I asked him when the baby would be born, he said May 16.

I'm off to bed... it'll either stop the contractions or I'll need some rest!

Eeek!! I'm so excited.  Fingers crossed there are 5 new CD board babies tomorrow morning!
