I love you July ladies, but idk wtf I was thinking getting pregnant at a time when my baby would be due in the summer. I am so damn hot I can't even stand it. To hell with the bill! The air has to come on NOW!

My mom turned the air down 2 nights ago and i woke up ready to KILL! I was dying. The a/c has been on in our house for the last several weeks. I do not handle heat well when not pregnant, if somebody tried to make me live without air i would dice them up into tiny little pieces.
DH left the windows open in the living room (where the thermostat is for the central air), so it stayed off all night. I had no a/c in the bedroom, woke up drenched in sweat and swollen. He's so sweet, he really had no idea, but I was still annoyed because that's how I roll.
We got the mattress and box spring moved out of DS's future room just before a thunderstorm started. We are now sitting on our screen porch enjoying the rain and some music. DS is playing around us and DH and I are just visiting with each other. It's lovely. I don't want to go start DS's dinner, I just want to stay here enjoying this.

I just took a freezing cold shower on purpose. It was the best shower ever. And for the first time in ages I'm letting my hair air dry. Suck it, hot flashes.
My husband is making haddock for dinner and it's making me want to vom everywhere. I love fish. We eat it twice a week. Right now, my stomach is doing flips. Ughhhh he always gets so hurt when I don't eat something. I'm having a pitty party for 1 over here.
Totally get this! DH grilled me some salmon the other night. Usually a favorite for me but I just couldn't stomach it.

I've had my air on for two weeks now and I'm a couple hours north of Philly, so the temp is probably cooler here. Screw the electric bill. I work all day in an unairconditioned office, I'm not suffering at home too.

I'm in Georgia. I can't even tell you how long our AC has been running. I try and turn it off and open the windows, but I just can't handle it.

I have died every day waiting for you. Darling, don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years. And all along I believed I would find you, time has brought your heart to me. I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you a thousand more.
Next, I'm working on a smaller square canvas with a big tic tac toe box, but with lil' wooden crabs and whales painted same color scheme playing against each other. Similar to the below but less cheesy:
And then a long thin wooden board with anchors decorating it to hang above the long rectangular mirror going over the changing table. I kept seeing y'all put mirrors above those to have the baby look at themselves during changing time (loved that idea) but am repurposing a dorm mirror instead (painting it, turning it on it's side) to run along the top of the changing pad. :-D I worried about it being too heavy and risking falling on the kid, so a smaller, longer mirror is what I chose. Plus it will run along with the gray stripes on the walls
AAAAAAND I'm rambling again. Isn't nesting the best? :X

I'm in GA, too. 93 today 10000% humidity. We have ceiling fans everywhere in our house which saves money, but today was an A/C splurge day. Holy hell.
Tomorrow is my last day to eff around at work and Bump all day. Wednesday I start training my replacement and this chick will be sitting next to me THE NEXT 3 WEEKS.
No more daytime bumping except at lunch ( I'm going to freaking miss you guys.

I'll be back, I promise!!!
Nope. You have to quit. Just walk out like "bye bitches!"
Today I cried in a Jo Ann Fabric store. I think this is a low point.
Just got back from seeing Godzilla and almost cried at a part that I shouldn't have. I felt ridiculous.
Oooh, what part?
I don't want to ruin the movie but since you asked, it is when the girl monster's eggs get lit on fire and she makes this loud roar/cry noise. I felt so bad for her.
Saw it on Saturday night and I actually did the exact same thing. :-(
The 'amusing' part is that we were out at the movies because we were invited to a wedding and they called it off the day of. It was a very surreal weekend.

Ok, I'm scared to make this its own post. But, do people do perineal massage? I've read about having your partner help...but I don't know if I can do this with a straight face (or no wine).
So, has anyone done it? If so, did you do yourself or have your SO help?
I think it'd be okay to have its own post. At least it's not about hospital bags.
@ichabody Big time. Lost about an hour and a half sleep last night.
Speaking of sleep, how is everyone sleeping position wise? I used to sleep perfectly on my side with pillows propped between my legs, one for my arms and one for my head. Now I can hardly breathe no matter what position I lay in. It's getting ridic!
I've been in the same boat for a couple weeks now. Up between 3:30 and 4 am, when the alarm goes off at 5:30. I've tried everything, but lately I just give up. I take a good nap after work, though.
I'm not sure how I managed this, but at some point last night I rolled onto my stomach with just a pillow propping me up and it wasn't uncomfortable. It was wonderful. I got the best sleep I've gotten in weeks. Usually I'm on my side hugging a pillow and my shoulders/upper back let me know about it the next day. Thank goodness for my massage this Saturday!
@zarkarella Ha, true! I'm more nervous to put it out there and people think I'm BSC. I wouldn't google image search for this unless you're prepared...
It's not like tossing your placenta into a smoothie or anything! ;-). You're just trying to save your lady parts from tearing! I don't think it's crazy at all!
Just scheduled my c-section. Hopefully I won't need it. I'm trying for a v-bac but since they won't induce with that, I have to have a back up scheduled. So, we know at the very least this kid will be here by July 9th!

July 9th is a fabulous birthday. Not only will baby rose share a birthday with MOI, he/she will also share one with Courtney Love, OJ Simpson and Tom Hanks.

(Hey, 2/4 ain't bad.)
I'll take it! I did ask my family last week if they had any thoughts on why 7/9 or 7/10 wouldn't work. The only thing that came up is that my grandmother's sister passed on 7/10 (awesome lady and we actually have her name on the list for possible girl's name), so I went with 7/9.

Finished the nursery tonight (at least until the shower) and packed my labor bag! I feel so accomplished!

And I second @Summerlovin314 on sleep positions. I'm pretty much the same as her.
Awww...so big!
Pregnancy brain is real.
