#FTMprobs I do not say (hashtag?) that sarcastically either. I remember wanting to punch all the people who told me just wait when I was pregnant with DD. Ummm. Just wait? Meffer what do you think I'm doing? Waiting! I try really hard not to say it bc I remember how annoying it is.

@sxymamakat‌ I admire your boundaries! Mine are more if you don't respect me I won't be around u, which is impractical if I want extended family for LO. Your statement about if they can't follow what you want then no unsupervised visits is PERFECT. My M and SIL (who has no kids/never wanted them until I got pg) both keep telling me my way isn't the only way and the "rules" they know they aren't going to follow (no sugar, no fast food, no soda, etc) because "it takes a village to raise a kid" and "you turned out just fine". Until now I have ignored them and vented to DH. You have given me the perfect response!

I'm feeling good today. Spent the entire day yesterday in my jammies with my pets and hubby, cuddled up watching movies, cooking good food and eating it, and building things for the nursery. I then sucessufully cut my own toenails, which I am way too proud about. Today, I woke up with enough time to eat TWO bowls of cereal which hubby thoughtfully set out on the table for me with a hot cup of coffee and a kiss. Then I get to work , and my boss has taken the day off so the whole office is getting donuts and tamales for lunch to celebrate, which are two of my favorite things. Happy Thursday!

Oh and I woke up standing in the middle of the night. I didn't need to go potty or anything. I just stood up in my sleep. It freaked me and Mister out.

Just got the decision in the mail for yesterday's hearing (that was fast!).  I was able to prove the employer's burden, or some legal jargon, which means that I won.  Wasn't really concerned, but there were 6 points I had to provide for and I hit them all.  Yay!

LO's due date is 5 weeks from Saturday... and DH is going to be gone 2.5 weeks of that.  We only have a little over 2 weeks left of being together in this house just the two of us???  :-O

It was actually @symphony4586 who posted about that line, but it's actually the same one that I've used, so I guess I can take some credit too!  Our child will be raised how WE agree to raise him/her, not based on what our parents want to do or anyone else for that matter.  That said, I'm still trying to figure out how often my mom is planning on having the baby over considering she's shopping for a crib for their house!

Exactly!  While she's probably right in that we're all going to be overheated and excited to see the end of it (when we're less miserable AND get our squishies!), I'm not going to wish the baby out early just for my comfort.  The only person who gets to hear those complaints is my SO (and you all, who am I kidding?) so that other people don't have fodder for comments.

LittleDude is HUGE. At 32w5d he is 4lbs10oz and his head is in the 88% percentile! But he is lonnnnng. (tall parents) the bright spot disappeared from his heart (relief like you cannot imagine) and his head is so smushed into my cervix - this explains the pressure. Not a single worry at this point other than possibly having a difficult birth with a noggin like his, but dammit I'm going to try my best.

Technician said he had TONS of hair, called him a "hairy headed monster" )

I went to my 6 year old sisters school talent show tonight. Torture. OMG. 

Also why did these parents let their kids out of the house dressed like that?!?

How the hell am i going to handle this?

And the song choices...don't even get me started. I feel old now.

Yesterday my husband told me why my way of crying is weird.

First, I announce it: "I think I'm going to cry."

Then, I cry violently for about 30 seconds.

After that, I say: "Okay, I feel better now."

He said that I cry the way other people vomit. What am I supposed to do with this information?

I have started pulling up TB in the mornings before I get started with work just to see if there are any new birth announcements, and I breathe a sigh of relief that there are no new baby announcements yet.  But then I also feel a little bummed, because.. babies!  Luckily I have May/June announcements to stalk.  Keep cooking July babies!

My OB said the same thing!  Haha  

Oh!  And I found out last night that there is a way for DH to temporarily get a different assignment for the week before my EDD, so now he will only be gone 1.5 weeks (plus some overnights), and I don't have to worry about whether or not to induce to make sure he is here for the birth.  LO can come on her own time!

Just had to share that:

1. Alexander is now 3lbs 7oz and can now be in an open incubator.

2. I get to bring Alexander clothes today.

3. Alexander peed on his dad last night, right out of the side of the diaper, and soaked part of DH's shirt  Sooo many laughs from that.

Yesterday was a good day.

My appointment was for 11:10. I got taken back right away and was weighed and had my BP checked. Then I was directed to another waiting area. Sat there for about 10 min before being taken to an exam room. I've now been in here for another 10 min and counting. What's the point of shuffling me around if they aren't ready for me? It's just a big tease at this point.

The office next to mine has a private bathroom. The person who uses this office is in meetings all afternoon and is letting people use her office. I need to poop and I'm so annoyed!

I'm hate that every time I eat something I get overly full and so extremely tired. Its like my digestive system needs every ounce of energy to digest my food. DH suggested going to Pizza Hut tonight for dinner and stopping at Rita's on the way home. That sounds like an awesome way to spend a Friday evening, but it seems wasted on me right now. I'm going to eat once slice and feel like crawling into bed.
