@mamrotu73‌ SKETCHUP!!! And if you provide measurements I'd happily build the space for you it's my line of work.
Sketchup is free, easy to learn and has a huge library of furniture.

These are projects that I've built from scratch, and I do some for shits n giggles just because it's fun. Currently building the beach cottage of my dreams lol.

Also you don't need to necessarily do the entire house - just ignore spaces you don't want if it's only for placing furnishings.

A mom on my Facebook asked for advice on flying with her 8 month old and another mom suggested a paci, a soft blanket and BENADRYL. Good god. Drug your baby so traveling is less stressful. My advice would be just hand him an iPad )

@dani+california‌ I feel ya. We struggle with sleep in general still. My mom can't get her to nap more than 45 minutes total. I just recently started coming home earlier and can get her to nap 2 hrs in the afternoon. But she wakes up a few times.

We use CAD for construction drawings because of the accuracy - for 2d it can't be beat. We're also starting to integate Revit for plans, which isn't my cup of tea yet. But for it's ease of use, flexibility and because it's free, Sketchup is how we roll for presentations. At school we learned 3DStudioMax, though it's way more complex and costs a bazillion dollars. We don't have the clientele to justify that level of sophistication and I never perfected it.

I need this transition to be over. Breaking up is hard. It's harder when you live together and even harder when there's a baby involved. I feel like I'm trying my hardest to be civil and make his life easier and he won't do the same for me. Since this was originally his place and I moved in he's pretty much saying that I need to be the one to move out and I know he's just doing it to spite me.

In the long run it sucks right now to be the better person, but you'll be glad you were when it comes to Dylan.

I'm not going anywhere! I'm not moving out of this house until I have secured another. I'll be damned if I'm staying in someone else's house when I'm the one paying the bills here. It's bad enough Dylan has to go through such an enormous transition from a two parent home to single parent home but there's no way in hell I'm crashing at someone's home with my infant. He'll just have to suck it up and see my face a little longer.

Was going to put DD down for a quick nap at 7, DH asked if there was something else I wanted to do. I told him take a nap. So he took her from me and sent me upstairs. I was thinking he would come get me at 8, when we start her bedtime routine. Nope. He came upstairs at 9 and woke me up to pump and go back to bed. He did bed time by himself for the first time ever! I'm grateful, but man, I'm never going to fall asleep tonight now!

That's normally how it is here, I put her to bed pretty much every night while he washes bottles and since she's started waking in the MOTN again, I've done all of those as well, and we used to trade off. It was a great nap, I probably could've slept all night, but I would've regretted it in the morning!

Also this working mom thing is kicking my butt. I'm so tired! And I miss having all the RTT breaks all the time ( But 15 min breaks=10 min of actually pumping and no time for anything but cramming food, water/gatorade, and looking at pics of my baby.

Sooo hugs to all who need 'em (@deidremaria‌) and congrats to @ambarnett1‌! And hopefully I'll catch up with everyone eventually.

I think there's two camps: one that knew what was going to happen before it happened and another that had no idea what was happening even after it happened. Damn that was confusing to write, haha. It's gonna take a third camp just to decipher my crappy wording.

@deidremaria I don't know if I'm misinterpreting the situation, but if he talked down to you or disrespected you in any way then that's not the environment Dylan needs in order to learn how to be a man and how to respect women. 

And take it from someone whose parents are divorced: it's way better to experience two separate but reasonably happy homes than a combined home with parents that are always fighting. You are doing the right thing for you and for your son.

@edoliesmom Nothing else, just keep an eye on her temperature. Know what the appropriate dosing and timing is for Tylenol for a baby her age and give another dose later if needed.

ETA: You don't need to call a doctor unless the fever lasts longer than 24 hours or goes higher than 103-104 degrees (some people say 101-102 degrees for a 3-6 month old baby). If she's acting normal it's probably fine.
