Also, holy moly Poppy! Are you still going to be able to get help for your anxiety with pregnancy? I'm legit asking, I want to know how that works and can't find the nicer way to word it...
@maitaibeth Are they coming to do evaluations or starting interventions? I know that where I do EI, there are some risk factors/diseases/etc. that automatically qualify a child for services even if there are no delays at the time. For example, I work with one little one who is hearing impaired and another with a cleft palate, but I'm just monitoring their communication development so that they don't fall behind in the future. It's nothing to be nervous about! EI is also about providing support for families so that you have the knowledge and resources to best help Fi. Let me know if you have any EI questions!
@poppywindsor: atta girl! So happy for you! We'd be trying if it weren't for $$$
Backdoor only on very special occasions, but DH is an equal opportunity lover of the others.
Was an hour late to work because B had an epic blowout on the way to daycare the ONE time she is in a disposable. It was in her armpits, hair, everywhere, so she got a quick wipedown, then I had to go home to wash her carseat fabric and drink more coffee. Maintenance is coming to cut open our living rom ceiling today to try to find the source of a leak we are having...ugh
I think today is a sleep when the baby sleeps kind of day. I am so exhausted from watching DH paint the dining room and all the not cleaning I've done. I hope everyone with kids going to school have a nice day of sort of quiet-ness. Mine went back weeks ago! @deidremaria I'm sorry for what you are going through, I have no advice but hugs instead. And @PoppySeedWindsor again, holy crap! I can't believe we have a BFP already!!! I'm still blown away. I hope you still post on here and not abandon us for, may 15? Is that right?
Long weekend and lots of posts - I missed a lot, and since I should work, no catching up for meee!
Also, I know what I can send for the contraband exchange! Cheryl's Cookies started in Columbus, so I can send cookies too, as well as buckeyes and maybe a local beer...
Why why why did Finn decide to find the sleep regression? I start school today and I'm exhausted.
I'm also upset that I will be missing him so much, on Tue I have to be on campus so I won't see him all day . It's only 14 days out of his little life but still.

@PoppySeedWindsor congratulations !!! That's so exciting I wish we could have another sooner!!
@deidremaria it's not giving up. It's making yourself happy. Your LO needs a happy momma that's the most important part. Trying so hard in a relationship is exhausting you should be at 50/50 or at least close to it sounds like your giving 100 and he's giving nothing..
I definitely won't leave RTT. Honestly, idk if I have the energy to do May 15. If I happen to have an April due date though, that may be another thing. I mean, who could resist April 15?
We definitely weren't TTC but contraception just doesn't work for us. Not that we don't use it...it just doesn't work. This is now our third pregnancy (early loss) in as many years.
Hubster said last night, "Sooo we're never having sex again."
I'm still wrapping my head around this, trying to get excited when all I feel is overwhelmed. I suppose it's good we found out while on vacay.
All I can say is ohhhhh boy.
Also, can I get a cliff notes on this exchange thingy? Id LOVE to participate! Also, I'll change my siggy soon. I've been mobile bumping the past three weeks.
@celticlullaby I hope you start feeling better soon, that's the worst!
@PoppySeedWindsor I'm so super excited for you buuuut.. Dammit, you're makin me nervous! I intentionally left the nuvaring in for a few extra days so I wouldn't bleed in my bridesmaid dress, and the new one goes in tomorrow. The sane part of my brain is all, you skipped your period on purpose, homie, chill. The not so sane part? "Omg nooooooo! What if? Anything but that! You don't know my lyfe, ute!!"
Also I need to make an appointment to see the doc about this stupid weird stabby pain in my belly when I bend over. DH thinks it's a hernia. That sure would suck. As if having an achey back every moment of my life wasn't enough!
@MrsStanton87 Yup. I saw a big difference. I'm adding things back in now to narrow down what it was, and/or to see if she could handle it now. But dramatic difference and much happier baby. I also give her probiotic drops every day at the advice of our ped.

Well no sleep regression for Owen, but my toddler is apparently going through one. He was up 11:30-4 screaming if I left his room. I tried to let him sleep with me and he would just play with my face and sing all the songs. An hour of Sesame Street, some snacks, all the milk and still wide awake. We finally went on a drive at 4 and that knocked him out enough to get him into his crib. I fell asleep around 4:50 and Owen woke up for the day at 6. Please send all the coffee.
Slightly annoyed by a fb friend. Her ds is 3 months old and she posted this morning how he went from only waking up at 6 am to up 3 times a night. I commented it could be the 4 month regression and what happened at our house. She then comments how annoyed she is about it and how she was planning on night weaning by now. Ummm he's 3 months and hungry! Just because your older ds didn't wake up hungry doesn't mean this little guy isn't hungry!

I'm imagining a condom giggling and running away when you open the package...
@PoppySeedWindsor pm me your info, any privacy requests like (I'd only feel comfortable with so-n-so know my real info), and "please don't send..." If you have any like if you don't drink or have an allergy. Basically it'll be a small care package. You could put in it local candy/alcohol, baby stuff, or just fun things. By Saturday or Sunday I'll pm everyone with their person and hopefully we can send everything out soon.
Thanks BIRL, I'll try cutting it out and hopefully it makes a difference!
@MrsStanton87 I hope it helps! Giving up caffeine was a bear, but id do anything to not hear this kid scream for hours. Let me know how it goes! You'll always get gassy baby sympathy from me.

Have a FB friend who has a son that is three months old. She is the uber competitive type that has to have the perfect baby who's advanced beyond his age. It's ridiculous. Anyway, she posted today that her son is starting mashed organic bananas because her pedi said he was ready for it. She also claims her EBF baby is drinking 15 Oz a session. Is that even possible for a 3 month old to handle that amount if breast milk?!

Tell her video or it didn't happen. Can't imagine the vomiting that would ensue even if you could get the baby to take that much.
Hugs, @deidremaria! Sometimes I think age differences can complicate things a bit. DH is only 6 years older than me, but even then it complicated things early on. It was like he would forget that I was in a different stage of my life than he was. I don't want to say that I was "immature" (or suggest that you are), but I definitely had less experience in the world and to him it looked like I was helpless or clueless and it frustrated him. He was 27 and I had to remind him that he was talking to someone who had only recently turned 21. I know our age difference is very different from your age difference, but it's the best I've got. I also had very different hang-ups at 21 than I do now. I was way more jealous and insecure.
I hope you guys are able to work everything out! Can you spend a couple days visiting family or something? You don't have to approach it in a negative way, but sometimes a little breathing room is a good thing.

Deidra- I'm sorry you're going through that
Not to steal her thunder if she's around but she was on volcano watch for days, but now she's in good ole America visiting.
DH is sex over BJ I think, but depends... He is awesomely happy with either these days, no back door action here.
Congrats!! Cake for everyone to celebrate!!
@deidremaria I'm sorry for what you're going though
I've been absent all weekend due to a camping trip and just caught up, that was quite a bit to read! Here is a cute baby to make up for my absence...
