Can I get in on this meet up? I live in NY so that's pretty close to the new england area. DH and I actually lived in Providence for a few years while I was in college. I've only been to Boston once but loved it.
I'm envious of this awesome sounding NE gtg! I've never been to Boston, but I'd like to someday. I'm pretty sure I'm all by my lonesome here in Northern Nevada though

Yes!!! Vote in the poll!!! Did you go to RISD?
I just voted! No I went to JWU (Johnson & Wales) I loved living in Providence its such a great city.
I live north of Providence and love living here! DH wants to move back to Mass next year because RI is a hot mess with taxes but I'm really trying to convince him to stay. He has a tattoo of the state flag on his arm so you'd think he'd want to stay!
I'm not a super-poster, but a NE meet-up would be awesome! Montreal is 8 hours from Boston, and we drive down once a year to visit family there. Let's carpool, eastern Canadian ladies LOL. That or convoy for better gas mileage.
Also, on missing RTT people: anyone seen @jennypenny1014 lately?
I checked on her last week and she hasn't been active in forever
All the missing ladies gives me the sads.
She's doing well, I think. She's been posting adorable photos of the little ones recently and commented on Sullivan's latest on FB, so she may have just taken a break from catching up on TB.
Ouch. Little sure made us pay for our date. Up every two hours on the hour to eat. She hadn't done that in weeks. It's gotta be a growth spurt, but it feels punitive.

I'd give my right tit (lefty produce most of my milk) for a date with DH. Unfortunately, my SIL still doesn't feel comfortable enough with James to watch him for a couple hours without us around
We half-assed it by pan frying these amaaaazing burgers and watching "Grand Budapest Hotel" last night while baby was passed out in his swing. And we even had time to DTD. So totally an at-home date success, but good god would a date at the theater or a restaurant be fun!
I'd love to meet up with you internet weirdos if it didn't mean the longest drive ever and getting a passport for Quinn. Da fuq? We're America's hat! I should be able to come and go as I please damnit!
You might not need a passport for him? I'm real close to the border and I think we just need the birth certificate to go over. I'm not 100% sure, though.
Hmm. My understanding was you needed one to cross...I used to work at the border but that was before you needed a passport to do so. Something to look into! And if you're traveling alone with a baby (to enter Canada anyway) you need a signed letter saying the other parent knows you have the child and where you're going.
Yay abduction!
EDIT - just looked it up, babies do need their own passport.
Oh, wow! Well that's good to know. Everyone always told us you didn't need a physical passport for the baby. We don't go over often but it's always so tempting.
Umm, my dog is an idiot, and I guess I belch louder than I realize? I burped, and the dog freaked and started growling before he could figure out the noise. I think he's a little ashamed of himself (or of me) now, because left and is now behind the couch instead of next to me... 8-}
LO has started crying every time DH sneezes! She sticks out her bottom lip and then starts wailing. I feel bad but also find it hilarious. I did just inform him that he needs to stifle his sneezes from now on.
Went to the gym this morning, went to brunch with DH and DS was so good, got a mani pedi, now I'm in the bath with a glass of Chardonnay.. This Saturday is so full of win! :x

How do you guys like the glass bottles? I wish I had done them last time, I can't justify the cost now. DH is insisting we're done at 2, so I can't justify the multiple babies thing, lol.
I love the glass bottles. Easy to clean and they don't get cloudy and yucky like plastic ones can. We never had any issues with them breaking- never. The circle ring part cracked on a few but the replacements were cheap (I tightened them too far- the newer ones look stronger). Also, we use evenflo which are super cheap. You can buy a couple of silicone sleeves like the more expensive ones have, if you're worried about breakage or have any problems with broken bottles down the road. Aaaaaand it's easier to warm up a partially filled glass bottle in a cup or saucepan because they're heavier and won't float away as easily.

After a week of not sleeping and crankiness DD slept 5.5 hrs straight last night We had an awesome day today: parade, park, in-laws pool. All of which were basically just sitting in the shade time for us, but at least I was out of the house and talking to other grown-ups!
