I KNOW I have no life and have been neglecting my real friends!  Carlene is 7 weeks old an will be meeting several of my real friends for the first time tomorrow at a baby shower.

So scary! This actually happened a few times with DS1 and it scared the fuck out of me. I mentioned it to our pedi and she said that it's actually pretty common and they will eventually take a breath on their own. She said that as long as he's not turning purple, it's OK to let him work it out until he takes a breath. YEAH RIGHT, like I'm going to just sit by and watch my baby until he turns purple?! We ended up switching pedis (for a different reason) and our new pedi said the same thing, so whatever.

Sooo... I'm just gonna pretend the dramz didn't happen. I'm such a dirty love titting lurker for the most part now that I'm back at work. Typing things is hard, y'all.

Also, I really, really want an ice cream sandwich and MFP says I have enough calories budgeted to have one, but if I go downstairs to get one and discover that DH are them all while I was at work, it will make me so very sad and cancel out how much I love that he left me dinner in the fridge. FWP.

It creeps me out a little when the RTT is slow late at night (West Coast here) so hardly anyone posts, but lots of love tits keep popping up. I know you're there dirty lurkers!

Supposedly. I never got them with DS1, but I sometimes swear I feel the baby kick/roll when I'm laying in bed. I'm sure it's just gas or something, but I immediately put my hand on my belly like it's the baby before remembering that I'm not pregnant anymore. I'm a little crazy though.

Much better. Found out she has a kidney infection caused by E. coli (O.o), so we're staying here until Monday with her on IV antibiotics, then seeing if we can take her home with oral antibiotics or if she needs a PICC line. Thanks for the thoughts!

I remembered my FFFC so I shall post here because now it's FFSC: sometimes I post the same stuff to FB and to the bump so both my FB and TB friends can see it.

Also, I'm ready for baby number two like right now....oy! I would never want to take away attention from Lucas or put myself in a position where I can't care for him so unless it's an accident baby #2 shall have to wait.

No idea. We asked her pedi and he said she was just unlucky enough to catch it, and that it wasn't anything we did or could've prevented. He said that E. coli is what the majority of babies with kidney infections have, which surprised me.

Does anyone else get frantic during that 30-45mins before sunrise? I see it start to get light out and am like "oh shit this baby needs to fall back asleep NOW!". Mostly because I'm still trying to teach him night/day difference. If only the sun could get on his schedule

So staying in this hotel last night. DD slept almost the entire 7 hr car ride so of course she was wide awake at bedtime. DH offers to "settle" her and tells me to roll over and go to bed. She just woke up to eat and I find her in her car seat. Not the pnp they gave us or our travel swing. Really idiot?!?! You thought that was a good idea?!?! I'm going to kill him ....

For me it was when I could tell her was in pain. I didn't mind he spit up and didn't want to medicate him unless it was 100% necessary.

Logan totally smiled and giggled at me while I was putting him to bed last night....little stinker was giving me a hard time going to bed. I was starting to get frustrated but that giggle completely melted my heart.

@SoulTermination‌ hoping Alera is better and out soon!!
My lil guy woke up at 5am (after going to bed at midnight!!!!!) but was wide awake so I brought him to bed with me and then proceeded to cluster feed for the next 3 hrs. I prefer him waking up 3x a night to this. But still proud of the 5hr stretch though!
@mamrotu73‌ I want donuts! I ate 2 on Thursday.... And yet complain I am not losing baby weight. Breastfeeding is supposed to even that out right?!!

I finally put LO in a couple dressed and they were adorable! But she loves grabbing the skirts and pulling them up... SO and I are gonna have to sit her down and tell her how ladies are supposed to act. Haha

@SoulTermination‌ : glad you got it figured out! Prayers for a speedy recovery!

Thanks @celticlullaby‌ - he's arching & pulling somewhat, but if I hold his head so he can't rip my nipple off in the process he seems reasonably ok after a few.
