Baby screamed bloody murder when I put her in the swaddleme...
Then was inconsolable and wanted to sleep on my chest. DH held her while I'll ugly cried myself to sleep.
I woke up to LO asleep on DHs chest... Pretty sure that is not safe bed sharing but she's ok and ready for breakfast if I am able to get passed her ninja arms.
Glad I'm not the only one whose baby can roll to her side.
I ditto the sore breast comment as well. My milk is coming in and making it hard for LO to latch just when we were getting the habg of that part of life.
First PP bm wasn't that bad until I wiped and realized how swollen I was! Yikes!!!
We have Tommy's neuro appointment tomorrow. I'm soooo nervous and have no idea what to expect.
Why does he need this?
Well, if you'd been around more and/or paid attention to my posts or even my siggy, you'd know my son has been diagnosed with three neurological conditions (two in the womb and one upon delivery)...hence the referral to a pediatric neurologist.
Ouch. That was kinda mean. I know you're nervous about tomorrow. Some people mainly/only mobile bump (myself included) so siggies aren't seen and not everybody has been participating on the board or thread since it first started. In other words it's very possible and likely that @PoppySeedWindsor jumped in after the diagnosis.
I was gonna say the same as @deidremaria. @PoppySeedWindsor has been super positive and supportive since I've noticed her on here. I think it was very much an honest question.
I don't blame you at all for being on edge @aviola329. I'm praying for you, your sweet little one, and family. I know you can weather whatever is ahead, and hope it's positive news tomorrow. Take care hon, we're all in your corner.

Good luck @aviola329 , keeping you in my thoughts today
@Jessieann1020 I understand your frustration. On the one hand it's great he is finding an outlet to let off some steam and have time for himself (dads need it too) but if he is sacrificing sleep to do it and then acting like a jerk I think you should talk to him about it. Maybe workout in the mornings instead?
@nicole mackenzie I totally feel you on the ninja arms. Why make it harder on yourself kid?!
April 2014 May Siggy Challenge: Funny Animals- Kangaroo Mating Ritual
DS has been fussy ALL NIGHT. DH has been amazing about it all, he's been up with him more than his fair share. Any tricks on keeping newborns awake during the day? He's a freaking zombie and nothing seems to wake him!!

April 14 August Siggy Challenge- "This time last year.."
Day 3 just me and LO. Ugly cried when DH left for work. Didn't have the best night and it is still pouring rain outside. hopefully LO will fall asleep soon so I can go to bed.
Babies should be able to smile and know they are smiling from day one. It makes the sleepless nights so worth it when you get a coo and gummy smile. If they did it from day one it would probably prevent many mommy tears
I'm still waiting for an on purpose smile. He smiles good in his sleep. I'm not trying to wish him to grow up too fast but I could use a good mommy is so funny smile.
We're about the same time frame pp right? We were 3/11. He just started it last week Friday!
I also forgot to start with the right side twice and woke up with it so rock hard! Didn't realize that could happen to just one side.
My kids have all been one sided eaters so when I happen forget what side I last fed on its gets pretty painful and rock hard and then I hate myself for the next few hours :P

Last night DH was talking to George and made a comment that George is going to forget him. It made me cry. Why did these weeks go by so quickly? I don't want my DH to miss these early days with George. I'm not ready to leave Sunday and be apart for four months. I just want my family to be together
@Tferr02 ((hugs)) After DS2 was born DH had to make a move ahead of us and we were apart for about 4 months as well. It sucked big time and DH had the same fears about being forgotten.
If I remember correctly, you are staying with family, right? I was and it actually helped those months pass.

@thomas930 yup I'm moving to FL to stay with my parents while he's in training. He's going to be an army recruiter, so once he's done we will have 3 years of home time. The timing just sucks. DS1 and I have gone to FL for 2 months about every 6 months since he was born, so luckily he is use to it. I just hate DH missing so much. DS2 is going to be so big.
Hugs @Tferr02 and good luck tomorrow @aviola329, I'm hoping for good news for you! Speaking of rock hard boob, I've been pretty good at switching back and forth but for some reason the right one is always hard, painful, and leaky. And when I pump I seem to get a little more out of that one. How do I balance out my lazy leftie?
I'm very lucky that baby girl rarely spits up but when she does, I never seem to have a burp cloth near me.
It never fails she starts screaming every time I start to type something. Lord knows I can't form coherent thoughts when she starts so I end up deleting whatever I put or it takes me 30 minutes.

I grew up in a military family. My dad was gone a lot. I give military spouses mad props because I couldn't handle the seperation.
I do know my dad even though he was away so much. He made up for veiny away by making sure to really be there when he was home.
Time can stop now...my 3 week old fits in one size cloth diapers now.
Butt wise so does mine, but they come up way too far on her torso so I'm sticking with the nb. At least that's what I keep telling myself. I'm not ready for her to be in size ones yet
It's cold and rainy in Boston, almost exactly the weather on the morning that my little lady was born. I'm wrapped up in bed with her snoozing and wondering where exactly 5 weeks has gone??? (

What?! Apparently I'm living in denial and haven't even tried the OS yet. Although at 2 weeks, DS still has his cord stump, so I think most of them would probably sit up too high.

Logan is almost in OS too at 3 weeks. His legs need just a bit more meat to them, but they work for just around the house when the newborns are in the wash.

Also I pretend the smiles at 3 days old are on purpose

Carter has been a snuggle bug for the first time ever and would whine and cry every time I set him down since early this morning.
I am walking the dog by myself for the first time since the boys got here. I can feel my sanity returning.
Happy 3 weeks, kiddos!
