Anyone else having more road rage than normal? I have had to stop myself on several occasions from getting out of my car at a red light and screaming at some dumb ass, which is something I would never ever think about doing usually.
This!! I got stuck in DC during rush hour tonight and people were cutting me off like crazy! I wanted to get out of my car and start bashing in windows! Pregnancy road rage is scary stuff.
I told my midwife about the blackouts and she gave me the take it easy spiel as well as took blood to check for anemia. Ill take your advice about snacks and try not to over do it even though thats hard to do with a two year old! Thanks ladies!
Wow -- I am surprised you are blacking out. Mine has been as low as 85/49 (the nurse took it 3 times she was so shocked). But as I said, I run really low naturally so maybe its because that's not that big of a drop from my normal 95/55.
It must be because my normal range is usually 100-110/75-80. I have a history of anemia so that could definitely be a factor in the blackouts. Hopefully ill have answers soon!

@biggerinreallife Are you feeling hiccups? If you feel them really low like almost in your vagina it's a good chance baby is head down. If you feel them higher then its probably not. Another thing to try is to lay on your back and feel around at your public hair line. That's about where baby's head would be if its head down. You should be able to take your thumb and pointer finger and feel the sides of the head. If you can't feel te head it doesn't mean baby isn't head down though- sometimes it can be hard to find!!
@Nikki912 I was thinking of this today. I felt what I thought was hiccups and it was really low, but the "hiccups" I feel are never long enough for me to be really sure I feel them. I'll pay attention for that though!
@BiggerinRealLife I have never felt my baby by my ribs. At my appointment a yesterday, the nurse felt for baby's positioning and the baby is basically transverse with its butt in the air above my belly button. I feel the most movement on my lower right side which is where the legs are right now.
Ok, now I feel dumb. @LoriMc12 I wasn't even thinking that the baby was curled up. I was still thinking of it with bent legs, not basically folded in half like it would have to be at this stage. So feet would kick around the baby's mid-torso, and hands could be grabby anywhere from torso to head. It makes sense now. I hope baby is butt up! Right now I just feel so huge, and the baby feels low and HEAVY. I take off work pants and feel like I need a sling to carry my belly. And it doesn't even stick out that far!.

So far all her test from yesterday came back normal. No autoimmune diseases, no infection or viruses. Blood and urine cultures show no growth, xrays were clear....so really no definitive answers. She has a follow up appointment on Monday, mostly just to see how she looks again but at the moment her doctors are leaning more towards Peridioc Fever Syndrome, which actually means it could be 1 of 7 different genetic syndromes and the tests for those aren't typically covered by insurance. Her doctor said that if everything came back normal that he would consult with a Reumatologist to see if they feel she would benefit from being seem by them....but that's all we know right now.

My dog STINKS!!! Ugghh! She hates bathing! I can't get her in the tub, she'll freak out. I've tried with a hose and she tries to attack me. I can't take her to a bathing place because shes a liability! I'm going to have to spray her with fabreeze.
Do you have a Paul Mitchell training school near you? My SIL went through their cosmetology program last year and she told me that PM makes pet cleaning wipes for people who have trouble bathing their pets. I used one on my cat when DH said she was starting to smell funky, and the odor wasn't cloying at all. If you don't have a PM school near you, maybe there are some local groomers who sell something similar? If not, Petco's website says they have grooming wipes, so presumably PetSmart and other big-name pet stores would as well. *huggle*

It really bothers me when friends post pictures of their babies penises on facebook. I get it is an ultrasound picture and not a big deal, but that is his private parts! If it were meant for social media it would be called public parts. We believe you that you are having a boy, we don't need proof.
So to go along with my no-poo, I'm also trying this no heat headband curls. DH looks at me and laughs. Then asks if this means we have to do it with the lights off. LOL Asshole. It does look pretty ridiculous, though. I'll post an "after" picture in the morning after I take the headband out.
I am done 2 weeks from Monday...and for good (well, for a while at least). I haven't not worked since the day after my 16th birthday when I could legally start working. I am excited but apprehensive! I have a lot harder work ahead of me!

My SO and I were so weirded out that of the four pictures our ultrasound tech gave us, one was her labia clearly marked with a "it's a girl!" I did not need that as a keep sake. I understand why they do it, but neither of us enjoy looking at it because we feel so weird about staring at our baby's crotch!
Why do my boobs look so good? Then I peed on a stick...

I saw that on pinterest and tried it! I think it worked pretty well, but not as good as the picture showed. Look forward to the pic!

I just looked that up, looks awesome if it actually works! Let us know! Also was it hard to do? I feel like there wouldn't be enough headband for all the hair.
Seriously, when you are the first car at a stop light, it is your responsibility to watch the light and go AS SOON as it turns green. This is not a good time to text, play with your radio, daze off, or do any other random shit that takes your attention off of said light. JUST FOCUS ON THE EFFING LIGHT!
@katiegummow lol at the "public parts." So true! To side note that, I'm terrified of having a boy and dealing with the whole finding his penis thing. My friend is going through that right now. It's so hard not to laugh. The other day her son said "I can't pee because I pulled on this and it's hard now." Keeping a straight face was so hard!
@thomas930 we'll continue to pray for your babe! At least she is feeling better! I hope you get solid answers soon.

It was really easy! I just parted my hair in two sections, then took one inch pieces and twisted away from my face. Then I just looped it through the head band. When I got to the last piece, I just kept twisting and looping until it was all done. I would get a looser and thicker head band like the one I have because it doesn't squeeze my head at all and it's more comfortable to sleep in.
@dani+california - sending you positive vibes! Fingers crossed for you.
@BiggerInRealLife - I think mine is trying to climb into my left leg, if it makes you feel any better. I do feel her in my ribs sometimes too, but I feel her down low more than I feel her up high.
@thomas930 - Thinking of you and DD. I hope you get some answers soon.
I closed out my day like a boss- this mom has been a pain in our program's ass since her kids started attending last week. Seriously, if everyone knows your name by less than 2 weeks in, you are doing it wrong. Anyway, I was fed up with the way she has been treating the staff at our program site where they attend so I called her up to tell her to knock it off. Long story short, her go-to excuse is "I'm a single mother... Blah blah... Please bend every rule for me..." And when we refuse she turns into a fire monster. She was mad that we can't stay open late for her because we are a licensed care facility and our license only lets us have kids until 6- so if kids are picked up late we HAVE to charge a fine, partly to pay my staff to work late. It's very clearly outlined in all of our materials. She was mad that we wouldn't let someone who she hadn't authorized in writing to pick up her kids. Again, state regulation lady. And on and on. I had a very good conversation with her and acknowledged her frustrations as a single mother but firmly pointed out that she can't treat my staff that way (she's screamed at them more than once) and that there are certain rules we just can't bend on. By the end of the conversation she was almost reasonable. Crazy stuff, but I felt pretty damn accomplished. So glad to have the day off tomorrow!!!

I clearly have some road rage issues today.
I'm glad someone gets it. I hate people who do this or anyone who goes really slowly through a green light.

And why does the 2nd car wait soooooo long to honk their horn if first car doesn't go. 1.5 seconds, and I'm honking from 4 cars back. I'm kind of an asshole maybe.
Also, I'm all for people paying attention and going when the light turns green, but there are legitimate safety reasons for waiting 1-2 seconds before driving as people blow through red lights all the time. At least they do here
andalso why does a school bus have to stop more than one time in the same block? Seriously, I was following one today that stopped 4 times in front of the same ginormous apartment complex. Why can't all the parents just stand in one place?
@thomas930 I'm glad the tests have come back negative so far. I hope you find answers soon.
@BiggerinRealLife My belly has started to feel very heavy this past week. I often hold it up just to give my body a break. I've been thinking of getting one of those belts.
@michaelad3 I also agree with being a defensive driver and making sure the other cars are slowing to stop at the red light. Left turners are always taking liberties at turning well after the light turned red. Grrr.
People sitting at red lights that are obviously looking at their phones or otherwise not paying attention deserve a little honk to get the line moving.

@BIRL I have never felt my baby in my ribs either. I went to the Dr yesterday and she said the baby was head down but I still only feel kicks just above my belly button. I think it might depend on how tall you are and how long your torso is. I'm pretty tall so maybe that's why? I have also never felt hiccups....I hope that doesn't mean anything.

I am finally having a full blown heart burn attack. I know, I'm late in the game. I never had it pre-pregnancy so this whole experience is new. Anyways, I figured that since I haven't had it up to this point... I probably wouldn't get it at all. WRONG. But holy shit, I'm miserable.
My question is....
Can you consume an entire package of Tums or no? Is that generally frowned upon?
So apparently kitchen nightmares with my love Gordon Ramsey is headed Back to crazy Amy's baking company. Anybody remember them? It should be a good one.

BIRL, my kid is definitely breech and I feel the lion's share of his movements in the lower pelvic region or below my belly button.
