I had an exciting mail day today. Got @mamrotu73's gift for Edolie, and I got our disc of Christmas pics!! I have to AW a few. O:-) Thanks to everyone who helped me coordinate all of our outfits!

Blaire was at daycare from 7:30-5:00 and slept for zero minutes. She fell asleep immediately upon arriving at home.

I'm watching Masterchef Junior right now...watching this is reminding me of the scene in HIMYM where Lily has to tell the teacup pig that she doesn't love it. I'd imagine it would be pretty difficult to tell a tiny 8 year old that her shepherd's pie is subpar.

MrsStanton87 - I'm sure you've already thought of this, but could the cheeks just be teething related? My son's are super rosy every since his teeth starting coming through. I've been using nipple cream on them, which helps. Hope he's okay!

I'm going to go see the new hunger games movie tomorrow. I'm nervous for two reasons - one, I'm seeing it with people that I'm not super close with, and am worried I'll act silly in the violent scenes (I don't handle violence well and often cover my eyes). Also, LO hasn't been great taking a bottle lately, and DH will definitely have to feed him while I'm gone. I'll only be gone 3ish hours - he'll be fine, right?

Can I have some A14 juju/prayers for my friends' family? They have two boys who are the nicest kids, and the five year old (born with a heart defect) was just recently cleared health-wise from that only to be diagnosed with Wilms tumor (kidney cancer). His prognosis is good, but it sucks for him and his family to have to go through another illness.  I know his older brother is taking it hard too because he's so protective of his brother

They could really use a break in life

XD Though to be fair, we found out Tuesday that my youngest SIL is having another girl - she's giving me her 4-year-old girl's old clothes, and she's going to get them back when LO outgrows them in the future plus most of LO's too-small baby clothes now in prep for the new one coming next year. :P

Need some luck today, ladies.  We're driving up to the in-laws, with whom DH had a major falling out over a year ago.  He barely talks to them - the only reason we're going is to get the last of his stuff from their house and to see Grandma.  This is going to be a super awkward day.

I'm so mad at DH right now. I've been very sick all week plus the worst cramps of my life. On top of that, the toddler has had a stomach bug all week. I'm exhausted. I told DH last night that he had this morning, I need to sleep in. So this morning, the kids start yelling, he takes his sweet time getting up, goes the bathroom, lets the dogs out...and then he freaking starts doing the netty pot! Seriously? The kids are yelling, the monitor is a foot from my head and you are going to do the most disgusting sound 6 ft from me? With no doors closed?
So I get up, mad, and get G up and DH comes in and I ask what happened to my sleeping in? And he actually gets pissed at me because he had some drainage in his throat and he wanted to clear it up.

So he left with the toddler to go get donuts, without saying bye to me, and I get to take care of G on my morning off.

Hugs for those that need a little love today. And good juju to the ladies needing a little good fortune. Today is finally photos day for the girls. I don't know why I am so stressed about it but I hope I at least get one good one of the girls together. And I hope DH doesn't give me a hard time about it all freakin day long

After complaining last night in FFFC that I needed some "me" time. My DH surprised me by dropping my girls off early with MIL, and we drove to a city an hour away to stay in a really nice hotel. Plus I get to go shopping, and get my nails done. I slept an uninterrupted 7 hours of sleep last night. Awesome birthday weekend!

@NoLaLinz‌ my husband is in the arts and I'm consistently really frustrated by how little he makes, even though I know that's totally unfair. It's just hard to be in our 30's and 40's and barely scraping by!

I slept in til 9:30 and didn't wake with the kid once lastnight. Daddy was a little grumpy about it but took the opportunity to go watch a movie when I got up. Kiddo is playing happily in his crib. I'm hanging out in bed bumping, alone. I'm so ok with this morning.

DH is making next to no money in his current job. He is currently looking for another job, but I just feel so frustrated with him. I posted in an FFFC that I resent him for making less than me. At this point, I would be f*ing ecstatic if he'd make more than $300/week. I'm tired of busting my ass working and having nothing to show for it. Ugh. Sorry, not looking for a pity party...just needing to vent. Hoping a little A14 job juju might help!

We want to go together, but MIL is our babysitter and she's sick. We also want to see 2 different movies, and who knows when we would get to go to both together! We loooove seeing movies, and this seems like a good compromise... Maybe we'll just go crazy and do it. Some alone time sounds nice too.

Hope everyone's having a lovely morning! Saturdays are just the best. I swear, Evan is 1 million times happier since learning to crawl. I was worried I'd have a super grumpy baby forever - apparently he just needed to learn how to be mobile. 

And my sweet mobile baby is taking a nap, so I can enjoy bumping and drinking a pot of tea

I get irrationally annoyed when people call Catching Fire or Mockingjay "the new Hunger Games movie." Like, no, Hunger Games was the first movie/book. Stop. Same thing happened when Eclipse, Breaking Dawn and whatever the other one was called. New Moon.

Jack turned 7 months yesterday and decided he now can sit. The best part of milestones are how proud they are when they learn something new. Seriously, baby pride is the best thing ever!

Sort of agree, though, to be fair, the books are referred to as the "Hunger Games" trilogy on places like amazon. I think that's common with almost all series - gives them a unifying theme, so people not familiar with the series know what they're reading/watching. Series like Harry Potter, that have a commonality in their title, get to escape that.
