I am such a klutz.  I lost my footing on the stairs and fell down, while carrying Savannah.  Fortunately, she was ok, I however scraped my elbow and bruised my tailbone.  It has not been a fun day to say the least.

If you want better cheese curds, hop over the border to Wisconsin, duh! Buy Carr Valley cheese curds - Kwik Trips sell them.


I wish there was time for a quick Wisconsin trip-we are only here for a couple days and we are doing the whole family/wake/funeral thing. Whomp Whomp. However, reading that Gator line made my entire night SO much better and might take some of the edge off over not being able to find decent cheese curds while here...

G woke up at 530 this morning, so early for us! The only positive part was DH has to wear his dress uniform to work today so I got to see him get dressed in it. That man is sexy in his uniform.

Good thing it's a beautiful morning because I am pooped. This little monster has an annoying habit of waking up right on the edges between too early and tolerable, going back to sleep and leaving me unable to. He's lucky he's so cute at ungodly hours.

I feel bad. I got frustrated that Edolie wouldn't settle after I put her down this morning after she ate, and I just now realized it's probably my because she leaked through her diaper! I noticed my shirt and her blanket were wet, but I thought I had just leaked a LOT. I'm so tired I hurt.

DS just had three slices of bread, some roast beef, and some cheese for lunch.  All that is left is a tiny bit of crust and a few shreds of beef.

@lia619 you need to go to Ghirardhelli and get a Chocolate fudge sundae. They are the best ever! I'm partial to the classic with Vanilla ice cream, but I'm sure they're all good . 

Otherwise - going on the Golden Gate is super beautiful, or getting a great view from Crissy Field and enjoying walking around. I also second the bread bowl from Boudin Bakery. I totally vote blowing off work and exploring - such a fun city!
